  • If we were in a head-on or crossing situation with a target ship and did not know the target ship's intention to change her course, we might be confused about our decision making to change our course for collision avoidance and be in a danger of collision. In order to solve these problems, we need to develop an automatic system which enables mariners to easily detect a change in the target ship's course and efficiently avoid being on a collision course. In this paper, we proposed an early detection method on altering course of a target ship using the steering wheel signal. This method will contribute to the reduction of collision accidents and also be used to the VTS system and the analysis of marine accidents.

  • The purpose of our research was to understand the effect of consumers' regulatory focus (i.e., promotion focused vs. prevention focused) on their evaluation of clothing store's VMD and store visiting intention. The results showed that the hedonic and utilitarian benefits of store VMD have significantly a positive impact on visiting intentions. In addition, the relationship between perceived hedonic benefits and store visiting intention was significantly different for PO and PE groups; hedonic benefits explained significantly more of the variance in store visiting intention for promotion-focused group than prevention-focused group. Conversely, utilitarian benefits explained significantly more of the variance in store visiting intention for PE than PO group. These results supported both hypotheses and showed that consumers with a promotion focus have stronger visiting intention toward the VMD with hedonic benefits compared with VMD with utilitarian benefits. Conversely, consumers with a prevention focus have stronger visiting intention toward the VMD with utilitarian benefits compared with VMD with hedonic benefits.

  • Purposes of this study were to identify the factors associated with behavioral Intention to social distancing (BItSD) in a loss versus gain advertising context. This study is a secondary analysis of data surveyed after randomly allocating one of the loss and gain message framing advertisements for the prevention of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) infection to 379 adults aged 19 and over living in Korea in early March 2021. Attitude toward advertisement (𝛽=.03, p<.001), involvement in COVID-19 (𝛽=.14, p=.006) and emotional stigma (𝛽=-0.17, p<.001) were associated with BItSD, and the explanatory power of these variables was 19% (Adjusted R2=.19). Therefore, when health care professionals communicate with the public, they should develop the strategies to increase public people's involvement in the information and to induce positive advertising attitudes, and provide the effective messages to prevent stigma by accurate information.

According to the result of multiple regression analysis, The significant factors influencing retention intention of clinical nurses were emotional exhaustion, nursing organizational culture, total career and age. it was explained by 23.7%. Based on these findings, in order to increase the level of retention intention, it is necessary to develop a variety of programs to reduce emotional exhaustion, as well as a plan to help them recognize a positive nursing organization culture, and to fine ways to manage long-term careers.

In foot care and location, the difference effectiveness is care/home remedy/pharmacy.(F=4.319, p<.01). Looking at recommendation intention for problematic toenails at the nail salon (F=15.152, p<.01). In addition, is it possible for the nail salon to improve as well as to prevent problematic toenails, can the nail salon care for problematic toenails, foot care behavior, intention of visiting nail salon on recognition of professionalism influences on nail salon recommendation intention by statically appeared to be significant (F=16.847, p<.001). • The purpose of this study was to explore the predictors of turnover intention among nurses working in general hospitals. The subjects were 181 nurses who worked in two general hospitals in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. Data were collected from June to November 2018, and analyzed by descriptive statistics, Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and Stepwise multiple regression analysis, using SPSS/WIN 21.0. The main findings of this were as follows. The mean scores for the nursing work environment, professional self-concept, job satisfaction and turnover intention were $2.43{\pm}0.38$, $2.60{\pm}0.25$, $2.59{\pm}0.29$ and $3.43{\pm}0.72$ points. Turnover intention is negatively correlated with the nursing work environment (r=-.43, p<.001) and job satisfaction (r=-.46, p<.001). Factors influencing turnover intention were job satisfaction(${\beta}=-.47$, p<.001), nursing work environment(${\beta}=.32$, p<.001), professional self-concept(${\beta}=.20$, p<.001), and total length of a clinical career(${\beta}=-.15$, p<.05) showing an explanatory power of 38%. Since various variables influence the turnover intention of nurses, it is necessary to improve the nursing environment in the medical field rather than the strategy to increase the number of simple nurses. In the university, education for establishing through introductory nursing specialty is needed.
