In order to create a national myth and be able to control international society, America with her short national history, used popular culture to accomplish these goals. The medium fit this purpose the best was the use of superhero characters based on comics. Born and developed from the 1930s through the 1960s, which could be seen as America's national crisis era, superhero characters were thorough advocates of American justice and was perfect for the role of spreading the legitimacy of American ideology. From the 1970s, superhero characters became part of movies and became even more influential through the Hollywood's massive film industry and the box office success. American ideology in superhero characters symbolically appeared in movie costumes. Starting with Superman and Batman, the very first and typical superhero characters' costumes work as metaphors for realization of American justice. After the 1980s, superheroes were newly developed through a genre called graphic novel and the most representative piece of this genre is Alan Moore's Watchmen. In the Watchmen, which was also turn into a movie in 2009, six changed superhero characters appear ranging from a non-human superhero, villain superhero, superhero with mental disorder and superhero with sexual impotency, the characters were never-seen-before superheroes with different aspects that connote introspection and philosophical ideology. The changed type of heroes and ideology became another form of heroes, and this brought changes to character costumes that were never considered before. The superhero costumes that used to symbolize America now express different types of superhero by borrowing exotic mythical elements, undressing, pastiche and daily life clothes. The superhero characters and their changes in costumes from Watchmen imply American popular culture's introspective tendency. Amongst these changes, we need to raise our critical vision towards popular culture.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of Korean medicicine treatment in patients with Spondylolisthesis and Lumbar Herniated Intervertebral Disc(HIVD). Methods : This clinical study was carried out on 62 patients who were diagnosed as spondylolisthesis and lumbar herniated intervertebral disc(HIVD) on L-spine X-ray and L-spine magnetic resonance imaging(MRI), who had been admitted from Feb. 2013 to Apr. 2014. All of 62 patients were treated with acupuncture, chuna treatment and herbal medicine during the whole admission period. Numerical rating scale(NRS) was used to evaluated the effectiveness of the oriental medical treatment. Results : 1. Distribution showed female predominance in general. 2. Degenerative type is the most common in this study. 3. In the duration of symptoms, the largest group was" Subacute"(32.26%). 4. Almost of patients had radiation pain, but in SLR test and valsalva test, more patients had no significant sign. 5. Spondylolytic type involved the 5th lumbar vertebra in 80% and degenerative type involved the 4th lumbar vertebra in 53.84%. 6. Most of case were grade 1(93.54%) in degree of slipping. 7. By the oriental medical treatment, NRS reduction in spondylolytic spondylolisthesis, was better than degenerative spondylolisthesis. Conclusions : The result of treatment by Korean medical is satisfactory for the tretment of spondylolisthesis.

The risk of the soil and groundwater that contaminated with petroleum is well known. The behaviour of petroleum in subsurface is governed by combined mechanism of several processes such as volatilization, adsorption, dissolution, biodegradation, etc. Large number of methods of remedial investigation and plan, therefore, have been developed and practiced. In application of the method, it is required engineer understands the mechanism of fate of petroleum in subsurface. So sampling procedures is very important for investigating the type of contaminants and their concentration as well as the selection of items that must be tested. For designing the remedial method, it is also required engineers to verify the structural formation of geology and the locational conditions of a land in detail, to familiar with the regulation, and to investigate the problems that can be happened after the performance was begun. In this paper it is shown that the investigation methods of contaminated land and the proper selection procedure of remedial method using the case history.

Recently, it has been an issue on BPM(Business Process Management, below BPM), which is a sort of business management methods that secures agility and flexibility through sustainable improving and monitoring in a rapid-changing environment. To introduce BPM to construction company we need to set up a procedure for objective, define criteria according to the business structure defined by BPA(Business Process Architecture, below BPA) and analyze works and then select targets. Those BPM target works need to have a close relationship with corporate strategy and to support realizing corporate value. Therefore, this paper will study BPM Target works of construction companies for an effective introduction BPM through questioning from working-level staff. In addition, it will analyze their types and corporate core strategy and BPM target works, then study the main strategy according to BPM target types. And also, this study is expected to help construction companies to choose the business for BPM adoption through analyzing current situation and strategy for business selection when adopting BPM.

Recently, various methods such as energy reduction, Greenhouse gas and etc., has been suggested worldwide. Korea has a lot of deteriorated houses, thus there are many demands for the remodeling. However such studies are scarce. This study analyzed the types of deteriorated housing, also suggests technology list to remodeling through domestic, foreign practices and existing research. This study suggested combination of technology list for small house remodeling by energy simulation and Life Cycle Cost related to windows, insulation and doors. This study that can be applied to the technical performance and economy of the basic research would be the basis of the analysis technique.

CMG(Control Momentum Gyro) is a control device being used for spacecraft attitude control constructing relatively large amount of torque compared to conventional body-fixed reaction wheels. The CMG produces gyroscopic control torque by continuously varying the angular momentum vector direction with respect to the spacecraft body. The VSCMG(Variable Speed Control Momentum Gyro) has favorable advantages with variable speed to lead to better control authority as well as singularity avoidance capability. Attitude dynamics with a VSCMG mounted on a two-axis gimbal system are derived in this study. The dynamic equation may be considered as an extension of the single-axis counterpart. Also, a feedback control law design is addressed in conjunction with the dynamic equations of motion.

The social network service is the bidirectional media that many users can build relations not only friends but also other people. However, a process to approach in the social network is so simple that untrustable information, which malignant users make, is spreaded rapidly in many the social network uses. This causes many users to suffer material or psychological damages. Because of openness in the social network, there will be higher risk of the privacy invasion. Therefore, sensitive information should be transferred or provided only to reliable users. In general, because many users exchange among one hops, many researches have focused on one hop's trust evaluation. However, exchanges between users happen not only one joint bridege but also far nodes more than two nodes on account of dense network and openness. In this paper we propose the efficient scheme combining transitivity and composability for remote users.

In this paper, I examined the representation of post-colonialism focusing on the spaces in Modern Boy and Assassination. These movies represented Bon-jung and Jong-no as a mixed-residence quarter, over the dual city theory, the orthodoxy of geography. It can be interpreted as the birth of a hybrid subject in post-colonialism. The representation of Bon-jong in Modern Boy was centered around Mitsukoshi Department Rooftop Garden, Namsan Music Center and Myeongdong Cathedral. The representation of Bon-jung in Assassination was centered around Anemone Cafe and Mitsukoshi Department Store. Set in the history of the new building the Japanese Government General of Korea in Jong-no, Modern Boy used it as a place of struggle. The representation of Jong-no in Assassination was centered around the mansion of Kang In-kuk, a pro-Japanese collaborator. Modern Boy and Assassination showed the post-colonialism that breaks through modern binary oppositions by a 'female' national heroine. describing Bon-jung as both a mixed-residence quarter and the original home of post-colonialism movement, they also showed a different aspect from the existing Kyung-sung representations.

Purpose: This work is a retrospective clinical case study evaluating the efficacy of Injinoryung-san granule administration to patients who showed an abnormal hepatic function test level. Methods: We analyzed the chart records of seven patients with elevated levels of the hepatic function test treated with Injinoryung-san granules. Results: The patients who were treated with Injinoryung-san showed a significant improvement in their elevated hepatic function test levels. Conclusion: In patients with elevated hepatic function test levels, Injinoryung-san granules can improve the hepatic level without adverse effects or changes in existing drugs.

In this paper, there is summarized the validation of ground test results through the telemetry acquired during on-orbit initial activation on solar-array drive assembly(SDA) of GK2A launched at Dec-5, 2018. Especially, the decision logic of SDA initial position and the compensation logic are validated and confirmed. The SDA initial position is needed when GK2A enter to geostationary orbit from transfer orbit and the compensation logic is for the accumulated position error due to the open-loop control. Up to now, it is normal operating. Also the periodic offset between the geostationary orbit and Sun position is found that it is not checked on design phase, and then the proper threshold value is applied.
