모바일 환경이 언제, 어디서든지 원하는 서비스나 콘텐츠에 접근할 수 있다는 장점에도 불구하고, 모바일 단말기는 여러 가지 취약한 단점들을 가지고 있다. DMB, 인터넷, 모바일 등에 대한 콘텐츠 또는 정보의 양이 거대하게 증가하면서 사용자는 때때로 자신이 원하는 콘텐츠를 찾는데 어려움을 겪게 되며, 많은 시간을 소비하게 된다. 발전하는 모바일 환경 및 단말기의 장점을 최대한 이용할 뿐만 아니라 모바일 단말기가 가지는 제약 사항들의 한계를 극복하여 사용자가 원하는 정보 및 콘텐츠를 언제 어디서나 빠른 시간에 이용할 수 있는 모바일 환경에 적합한 추천시스템의 필요성은 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 서버 중심의 추천시스템을 개선하여 클라이언트와 서버간의 데이터 교환을 통하여 추천 정확도를 높일 수 있는 추천시스템 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 사용자의 히스토리를 이용하며, 클라이언트에서는 모바일 단말기 사용자만의 히스토리를 이용한 추천 알고리즘을 적용하였고, 서버에서는 협업 필터링을 통해 다른 사용자의 히스토리를 이용한 추천 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 실험 결과는 서버 중심의 추천시스템 보다 더 높은 정확도를 제공할 수 있다는 것을 보여준다.

The objective of this paper was to identify the general concept of subculture; to assess the symbolism of youth subculture style, such as Teds in the 40's, Mods in the 50's, Skinheads and Hippies in the 60's, and Punks in the 80's, giving an inspiration to many high fashion designers. The data were collected from eye-wittness reports, interviews, magazines such as Vogue, The Face, and The Sunday Times, postcards, and photos taken by authors. Youth subcultures were symbolized as 1) a social protest and disaffection against social class and racism, 2) an expression of shock value for nihilism, anarchism, and vandalism, 3) a meaningful sexual fetishism concerning gender confusion, and 4) an emotion of rage, fear, and alienation among working class youth. One cultural form in a subculture is its 'style.' Costumes, appearances, and accessories such as hair style, make-up, and jewellery were playing an important role in forming a subcultural style. The symbolism of youth subculture was well depicted on their clothing styles, which had influences on Zandra Rhodes's, Body Maps', and Hyper and Hyper's fashion design.

19세기초 영국에서 개발된 증기 기관차로 인하여 육상교통이 큰 변혁을 맞은 이래 열차의 속도, 승차감, 신뢰도 및 안전도, 경제성의 제고 등에 대한 계속적인 기술발전과 개량으로 철도 교통은 대량수송 수단의 주역으로 경제발전과 인류역사에 크게 공헌하여 왔다. 산업발전에 따른 고속화와 전철화로 철도차량의 최고속도는 프랑스의 고속전철(TGV)이 300km/h까지 도달했으나 고속주행시의 소음, 공해등으로 인하여 21세기 인류에게 제공될 지상의 대중교통수단으로서는 여러가지의 제한점을 보이고 있다. 최근 우리나라에서도 지속적이고 급속한 대중 교통수단으로서는 여러가지의 제한점을 보이고 있다. 최근 우리나라에서도 지속적이고 급속한 산업발전과 사회복지의 향상으로 국내의 산업물동량과 산업인구의 이동이 급격하게 증가하여 우리나라 산업동맥의 중추인 경부선의 경우 일일 수송능력은 120회/일 이르렀고 철도교통수요의 증가율('84년 예측치 5.9%년)과 특급이상의 승객증가율('84년 예측 12.5%)에 비추어 볼때, 1995년경에는 완전포화 상태에 도달할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 본 소고에서는 21세기 고도사회 진입에 대비하고 국민의 생활수준향상에 부응하는 빠르며, 쾌적하고, 안전한 고속 대중 교통수단으로써 관심을 불러 일으키고 있는 고속전철을 소개하고, 현재 운행하거나 개발중인 외국의 기술현황을 기술적인 면과 운용면에서의 고찰을 통하여 한국의 교통체제, 지형, 미래의 교통구조 등을 고려한 한국형 고속전철의 개발방향을 제시하고저 한다.

계란으로 인한 살모넬라 식중독은 전 세계적으로 문제가 대두되고 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위하여 세계 각국은 대책을 강구하고 있다. 영국에서는 일찍이 라이언스 퀄리티 시스템을 도입하여 품질 보증된 안전한 계란을 생산하는 시스템을 구축하였으며, 미국과 일본 등도 각고의 노력을 기울이고 있지만, 아직 우리는 필요성만 인지하고 있을 뿐 구체적 대안을 제시하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 열악한 환경에서 강한 면역체계를 갖춘 30대 이상의 건강한 사람의 경우는, 현재와 같은 시스템으로도 별반 문제가 없다 하더라도, 면역력이 떨어진 고령자나 어린이 등에게 있어서는 향후 치명적인 결과를 초래하여, 양계산업 기반이 흔들릴 소지가 있으므로, 미리 이에 대한 대비책을 강구하여야 한다. 이를 위해 도입된 시스템이 HACCP 시스템이다. 양계의 특성상 완전히 무균화된 생산 공정을 요구 할 수는 없다. 하지만 이의 목적은 단 하나다. 최종 소비자에게 이르렀을때는 안전한 계란이 되어야 한다는 것이다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위해서 사람, 설비, 방법 등을 어떻게 할 것이며 관리 감독할 것인가 절차를 명문화하고 이를 준수하고 개선하고 시정 조취를 취하느냐 하는 것을 표준화 한 시스템이다. 각론에서는 실행에 여러 어려움이 있겠지만, 안전한 계란을 생산하기 위한 목적을 달성하는 최적의 방법을 찾아가는 것이라 할 수 있으며, 이런 명제 하에 HACCP를 도입한다고 할 수 있으며, 이에 조금이라도 일조 하고자 IPPS JAPAN 2001에 소개된 농장에서 식탁 까지를 기본으로 한 양계장 에서의 HACCP 방식 이란 논문을 번역하게 되었다. 아직 양계 분야에서 어떻게 도입해야 할지 막막한 상황이므로 좋은 참고가 되었으면 하는 바램이며, 지면관계상 세심한 부분까지 거론되지 않은 부분도 있을 수 있으나 이를 실행함에 있어서 상호 충분한 토의를 거쳐 제도로 정착될 수 있도록 업계 여러분과 이에 대해 많은 협의를 할 수 있었으면 한다.

Rose tissue containing cytidine deaminase converts cytidine to uridine and ammonia gas. Rose tissue sensor was constructed by immobilizing 50mg of a rose petal tissue on an NH3 gas sensor and the optimum condition of the sensor for the determination of cytidine was investigated. The tissue sensor showed a linear range of$7.0 {\times} 10^{-4}$∼$1.0{\times} 10^{-2}$M cytidine with a slope of 53 mV/decade in 0.2 M phosphate buffer, pH 8.4 at 37$^{\circ}C$. The detection limits were $3.0{\times}10^{-4}$ M and relative standard deviation was 3.4%. This sensor showed an excellent selectivity among various nucleosides and amino acids.

As the amount of digital collections has been increasing, a new approach is needed to improve access to records. Interactive visualization allows users to more easily browse and navigate across large collections. Cultural heritage institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia introduced interactive visualization techniques to diversify ways by which to access archival records. This study aims to propose a method for applying interactive visualization to archival collections. It began with an analysis of interactive visualization cases in overseas cultural heritage institutions. Based on the analysis, a visualization of the collections held by the National Archives of Korea using various interactive visualization techniques was suggested.

Apparent molal volumes of urea, 1,3-dimethylurea (DMU), and 1,1,3,3-tetramethylurea(TMU) in dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO) and in methanol have been measured at low concentration by the density measurements at $25^{\circ}C$. It is confirmed that urea molecules in the dilute DMSO solution self-associate to a greater extent than in the concentrated solution, while DMU and TMU molecules in DMSO solutions interact with the solvent molecules. In addition, the molecules of the three solutes also interact predominatingly with methanol molecules.

The bio-sensor for glutamine has been constructed by immobilizing petal of the rose structural elements on an ammonia gas sensor. This sensor was investigated for the effects of pH, temperature, buffer solution, tissular amounts, interferences and lifetime. As a result, the tissue sensor showed linear range of $8.0 {\times} 10^{-4}$ ∼$5.0 {\times} 10^{-2}$ M glutamine with a slope of 52 mV/decade in pH 7.8, 0.2M phosphate beffer solution at 37$^{\circ}C$. The tissular amounts used for this sensor was 50 mg. This sensorr showed excellent selectivity. This sensor was compared with other structural elements of rose. Actually, this tissue sensor appeared to be very useful for the determination of glutamine.

This paper presents a digital instrument for a DSP based power quality analysis in three phase power system where current waveform is non-sinusoidal. it is based on stand alone type TMS320C31 DSP(digital signal processor)board and on a special high-speed data acquisition system. Power quality of low power motor drives are analyzed and processed by using a simple average power algorithm, and result of power analysis are displayed by LCD in the proposed system. This paper also goes on to discuss the performance of an instrument prototype, both in terms of accuracy and speed of measurement under the transient and steady state condition.

인구11억명의 무한한 시장‘인도’. 특히 인도는 IT 분야에서 세계 최고의 강국으로 부상하고 있다. 거기에 인도는 10여년간 연평균 GDP 성장률 6%대의 고도성장을 이룩하는 등 중국에 이어 경제강국으로의 탈바꿈을 꿈꾸고 있다. 이처럼 매력적인 시장을 기업들은 놓칠리가 없다. 이미 세계 유수의 기업들은 꿈틀대는 인도 시장을 주목해 왔다. 인도에 법인을 설립, 현지의 값싼 노동력을 이용해 가격 경쟁력을 갖추고 시장을 공략하고 있는가하면, 인도시장에 맞는 저가상품을 적극개발, 공급함으로서 시장점유율을 높이고 있다. 국내기업의 경우 자동차와 가점제품의 경우 비교적 성공적으로 정착한 사례로 꼽히고 있다. 현대자동차, LG전자, 삼성전자 등은 인도 현지에서 호평을 받을 정도로 경쟁력을 확보한 상태다. 하지만 전력 시장에서만큼은 아직까지 뚜렷한 성과를 얻어내지 못하고 있다. 가장 큰 이유는 평균 30% 이상에 달하는 관세율을 극복하지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 그리고 인도 수출의 경우 말처럼 쉽지는 않은 상황이다. 인도의 경우 영국의지배를 받던 국가라 아직까지 ABB, 시멘스 등 유럽업계의 강세가 뚜렷해 타 지역국가 업체들의 인지도가 높지 않은 상황이다. 무엇보다“대금이 들어와야 거래가 성사됐다”라고 말을 할 정도로 대금인수에 어려움을 겪는 사례가 부지기수고, 계약 파기도허다해 계약에들인 노력만큼 성공률이 높지 않은 것도 국내 전력 관련업계의 진출 부진의 한이유다. 그렇다고 인도 시장을 그냥 놓치기에는 너무아깝다. 이에 국내업계의 경우 매력적인 시장을 놓치지 않으려 계속해서 인도 시장 진출추진하고 있다. 인도 전력시장 현황을 소개하고, 수출을 위한 국내 업계의 노력 및 수출시 유의해야 할 사항을 종 합적으로 정리해봤다.
