태양열을 이용한 냉방장치 -급수식 냉동기를 중심으로-

  • 태양열을 냉방에 이용하기 위한 시스템은 집열기,열교환기,냉동기 등으로 구성된다. 집열기는 난 방시와 마찬가지로 볼 때 냉난방을 병용하는 집열기를 사용하면 유리하다. 열교환기는 집열기에 서 수집한 열을 냉방기에 전달시키는 기능을 가지는데 용도에 따라 이것을 사용하지 않는 경우도 있다. 냉동기로는 보통 흡수식 냉동기를 사요하나 그외 개방식, 분사식 등의 냉동기도 사용된다. 그러나 분방식 냉동기는 취급은 용이하나 흡수제의 재생조건이 까다로워 높은 습기를 갖는 경우 재생온도가 역시 높아져야 하므로 우리나라의 경우에는 여름철의 습도가 높기 때문에 재생온도가 높아져야 하므로 태양열 냉방에는 부적당하다. 또 분사식 냉동기의 경우 성적계수(Coefficient of Performance) 가 다른 냉동기에 비해 낮고 증기압력이 낮으면 이것이 극히 낮아지기 때문에 태양 열 냉방에 많이 사용하지 않는다. 그래서 태양열 냉방에 있어서 냉동기는 거의 흡수식을 사용하 고 있으며, 여기에서도 주로 흡수식 냉동기를 사용한 냉방에 대하여 논하고져 한다.

ANALYSIS OF TURBULENT HEAT TRANSFER FROM STAGGERED PIN-FIN ARRAYS WITH DIAMOND SHAPED ELEMENTS AT VARIOUS GEOMETRICAL CONFIGURATIONS (엇갈린 다이아몬드형 핀휜의 형상에 따른 난류열전달 성능해석)

  • A numerical study is carried out to analyze the steady three-dimensional turbulent flow and convective heat transfer in a staggered pin-fin array with diamond shaped elements at various geometrical configurations. Steady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations and energy equation are solved using a finite volume based solver. Shear stress transport (SST) model is used as turbulence closure. The computational domain is composed of one pitch of pin-fin displacement with periodic boundary conditions on the surfaces normal to the streamwise direction and the cross-streamwise direction. The numerical results for Nusselt number and friction factor are validated with experimental results. The effects of pin angle, pin height and pitch on Nusselt number, friction factor and efficiency index are investigated.

  • An efficient tool to deal with a multi-dimensional radiative heat transfer is in strong demand to analyze various thermal problems combined either with other modes of heat transfer or with combustion phenomena. The current study examined the discrete ordinates method (DOM) for a coupled radiative and conductive heat transfer in rectangular enclosures in which either nonscattering or scattering medium is present. The results were compared with the other benchmarked approximate solution. The efficiency and accuracy of the DOM were thus validated.

  • When a circular tube with uniform heat generation within the wall was placed in a cross flow, heat flows by conduction in the circumferential direction due to the asymmetric nature of the fluid flow around the perimeter of the circular tube The circumferential heat flow affects the wall temperature distribution to such an extent that. in some cases, significantly different results may be obtained for geometrically similar surfaces. In the present investigation, the effect of circumferential wall heat conduction is investigated for forced convection around circular tube in cross flow of air and water Two-dimensional temperature distribution $T_w(r,{\theta})$ is calculated through the numerical analysis. The difference between one-dimensional and two-dimensional solutions is demonstrated on the graph of local heat transfer coefficients. It is observed that the effect of working fluid is very remarkable.

Effects of Hydrophilic Surface Treatment on Evaporation Heat Transfer at the Outside Wall of Horizontal Tubes (친수성 표면처리가 수평관 외벽의 증발열전달에 미치는 영향)

  • Evaporation heat transfer characteristics have been investigated experimentally when distilled water is sprayed on the outside wall of horizontal tubes in a evaporator. This problem is of particular interest in the design of evaporator of an absorption system. Hydrophilic surface treatment was employed to increase the wettability on copper tubes. The results indicate that evaporation heat transfer with hydrophilic tubes is shown to be 25-44% higher than that with bare tubes at evaporation pressure of 31.8 Torr(evaporation temperature$ 30^{\circ}C). Evaporation heat transfer rates of hydrophilic treatment tubes are improved substantially, comparing with those of conventional copper tubes in the wide range of operating parameters, such as water inlet temperatures, water mass flow rates and evaporation pressures.

  • On the absorber of absorption chiller/heater, LiBr solution at high concentration is sprinkled on a bundle of horizontal tube cooled by cooling water. In this case, the conditions of LiBr solution and cooling water have an influence on heat/mass transfer coefficient in this system. Therefor it is important to find optimal operation conditions of absorption chiller/heater to save energy. Heat and mass transfer coefficient increased with the increase of solution flow rate, and also heat and mass transfer rate increased but overall heat and mass transfer coefficient decreased by increasing the solution concentration within the experimental range. The superheating of the solution resulted in superior heat transfer character to a state of equilibrium from the point of heat flux and overall heat transfer coefficient.

  • The heat (mass) transfer characteristics in the tip-leakage flow region of a high-turning first-stage turbine rotor blade has been investigated by employing the naphthalene sublimation technique. The heat transfer data in the tip-leakage flow area for the tip clearance-to-span ratio, h/s, of 2.0% are compared with those in endwall three-dimensional flow region without tip clearance (h/s = 0.0 %). The result shows that the thermal load in the tip-leakage flow region for h/s = 2.0% is more severe than that in the endwall flow region for h/s = 0.0%. The thermal loads even at the leading and trailing edges for h/s = 2.0% are found larger than those for h/s = 0.0%. The tip-leakage flow results in heat transfer augmentations near the tip on both pressure and suction sides in comparison with the mid-span results.

연소실 냉각성능 개선을 위한 경사슬롯 막냉각에서의 유동 및 열전달 특성

  • 추진기관의 연소실과 같이 큰 열부하를 받는 경우 막냉각은 연소실을 보호하기 위해서 사용되는 대표적인 냉각기법이다. 막냉각의 성능을 극대화하기 위해서는 냉각유체를 2차원 슬롯을 통해서 분사시키는 것이 가장 효율적이지만 여러 가지 이유 때문에 실제 적용에 있어서는 슬롯입구 부근에 작은 구멍을 만들어 이로부터 분사되는 유체를 통해서 냉각시키게 된다. 본 연구에서는 주어진 덕트에서 분사율, 분사방법, 슬롯의 형상에 따른 슬롯 출구에서의 유동장 및 온도장 측정과 함께 물질전달 방법을 이용하여 슬롯 립(slot lip) 내벽에서 자세한 국소 열/물질전달계수를 구하였다. 분사율 0.5와 1.0에 대해서 주유동과 같은 방향으로 분사시켜줄 경우와, 유동을 제한시켜 주고 이차유동의 방향을 각각 주유동과 같은 방향과 반대방향으로 분사시키는 방법에 대하여 실험하였으며, 슬롯 입구에 경사슬롯을 설치하여 냉각유체를 분사시키는 방법에 대해서 실험하였다.

A Study on the Heat Storage Characteristics of a Latent Heat Storage Tank with Shell and Tube Type (셀-튜브형 잠열축열조의 축열특성에 관한 연구)

  • An experimental study has been carried out in order to investigate the heat storage characteristics for a latent heat storage tank with horizontal shell and tube type. The heat storage tank consists of cylindrical capsules with a staggered tube bank. The effects of flow rates and initial temperature differences on the melting time and heat storage rates are examined. It is found that the melting time decreases with increase of the flow rates and initial temperature differences. Results also show that the time-averaged overall heat transfer coefficients increase in proportion to the increase of flow rates and initial temperature differences.

  • Experimental results for convective heat transfer from a number of screen type heat storage materials, made of stainless steel and brass, were obtained by the use of the transient technique. The effects of the material, the size of mesh, and the number of screens. on the heat transfer coefficient could not be detectable A dimensionless correlation describing the convective heat transfer from the screen type heat storage materials is given in the range of Reynolds number between 60 and 1000.
