A Study on Development of a Marine Docking System for Repair of a Small Coast-Boat (연안 소형선박 수리용 해상 상가시스템 개발)

  • In recent years, small boats used for marine leisure have been steadily increasing because of the increase in national income and the desire for marine leisure. But the repair of such small boats in dry dock has pointed out many faults in small FRP-shipbuilding in terms if workspace and manpower. Lifting a boat from the water to land is done with a crane or by hand using a sling around the bottom of the boat. But dry dock work is limited by the scale of the boat, which corresponds to the crane capacity, with carelessness making it possible to capsize a boat and endanger life. The purpose of this study was the development of a marine docking system that would improve economical efficiency and safety, for which we carried out concept design, model tests, structural analysis, etc.

  • 초고속해상무선통신망은 연안으로부터 100km 까지 전국 3해안(동 서 남해)에 LTE(Long Term Evolution) 통신 체계를 구축하여 항해 중인 선박(어선, 소형선박, 상선 등)을 대상으로 해상 e-Navigation 서비스를 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 논문은 초고속해상무선 통신망의 품질검증 기준이 되는 연안으로부터의 통신서비스 제공 거리, 전송 속도, 전송성공률 및 커버리지 기준 등에 대해 검토해 보고 각 기준 수립을 위해 고려되어야 할 주요 쟁점 사항을 논의해보고자 한다.

  • 초고속해상무선통신망(LTE-Maritime)은 연안으로부터 100km 까지 전국 3해안(동 서 남해)에 LTE(Long Term Evolution) 통신 체계를 구축하여 항해 중인 선박(어선, 소형선박, 상선 등)을 대상으로 바다에서도 LTE급의 데이터 통신이 가능한 해상 e-Navigation 서비스 제공을 목표로 한다. 본 논문은 초고속해상무선통신망의 커버리지 및 통신서비스 품질검증 기준이 되는 연안으로부터의 통신서비스 제공 거리, 전송 속도, 전송성공률 등에 대해 검토해 보고, 각 품질 지표를 검증할 수 있는 시험항목 설정, 시험 환경 구성, 시험 방법 및 품질 결과 분석 방안에 대해 논의해보고자 한다.

The Safety Equipment for Small-Size Vessel (소형 선박용 안전장치)

  • These days as there are a growing vessel volume in the costal area, the marine accidents has being increased. IMO recommend that all vessels have to be equipped with the safety equipments mandatorily for the safety navigation. Almost medium and large size vessels are equipped with the safety navigational equipments, But many small size vessels are not equipped with those ones because of its owner's financial hardship or indifference. So for the safety of small size vessels in the coastal area, the marine accidents such as stranding, sinking, collision, and so on, have to be protected in advance or the occurred accidents has to be treated quickly. In this paper, the safety equipment for small size vessels having these functions has been developed. This equipment can guarantee the safety of small size vessels in defenseless state considerably by displaying these states in seamen's Smart phone or the cheap dedicated terminal and also informing the control center and nearby other vessels of these states.

  • This performance is motivated to develop a tracking antenna system for receive the satellite broadcasting signal in the coast sailing ship. Therefore, this system is made to small size, light weight and simple operation which is must to low cost system for popularization of small size ship and adaptive possibilities with useful on a ship in the coast using 1 axis Az-mount. The antenna mount structure is a compact size and easy operation to the Az-axis type which is operated by step motor. The antenna unit is a domestic made plate type of patch array and ship's moving detection is using the gyro sensor for ship's moving control. We are designed to algorithm, which walking is abreast for step track and ship's moving compensation. Ship's moving compensation is adapted to the closed loop control method by detection from gyro sensor. This system is consisted of micro processor, ADC, comparative amplifier, step motor driver, mount mechanism and algorithm. We have analysised the tracking performance of prototype on sailing ship board.

  • 최근 우리나라 연안어업은 한 일, 한 중어업협정, WTO 가입 등으로 주변 환경이 급격하게 변화되는 한편, 연근해 어자원의 감소와 근해어업과의 경쟁조업 등으로 인해 경영수지가 극도로 악화되고 있다. 이에 따라 정부에서는 연안어업의 경영수지 개선을 목적으로 1척의 선박으로 3개 이하의 업종을 허가하여 여기에 맞추어 선택조업이 가긍하도록 하였다. 하지만 기존선박은 단일업종을 대상으로 한 전용선반으로 건조되어 업종변경시 개조비용 발생은 물론 이거니와 개조에 따른 조업중단 또는 차질로 제 효과를 얻지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 그리고, 조선공학적 제 성능에 관한 면밀한 검토가 부족한 가운데 개조 사용함으로써 안정성을 저해하거나 조업효율이 오히려 떨어져 복수조업요건을 모두 수용할 수 있는 새로운 선형개발이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 동해역 2톤급 다목적어선을 대상으로 하여 어선세력, 어민요구사항 및 어로시스템 분석 등을 통해 다목적어선 대상업종을 선정하고, 선정된 업종의 어로장비를 동시탑재 또는 부분 교체하여 조업할 수 있는 선형을 개발함으로써 연안 어민의 선박건조비 절감, 업종 교체에 따른 부대 경비경감과 안전도 저해요인 해소에 기여하고자 한다.

Estimation of a 9.77 G/T Small Fishing Vessel's Operating Performance Depending on Forward Speed Based on 3-DoF Captive Model Tests (9.77톤급 소형어선의 3자유도 구속모형시험을 통한 선속 별 운항성능 추정)

  • In this study, a mathematical model of a 9.77 G/T small fishing vessel was established based on captive model tests. The powering and manoeuvring performances of the vessel in the harbor and coastal sea were focused on, so captive model tests were conducted up to the full-scale speed of 8 knots. Propeller open water, resistance, and self-propulsion tests of a 1/3.5-scaled model ship were performed in a towing tank, and the full-scale powering performance was predicted. Hydrodynamic coefficients in the mathematical model were obtained by rudder open water, horizontal planar motion mechanism tests of the same model ship. In particular, in static drift and pure yaw tests which were conducted at a speed of 2 to 8 knots, the linear hydrodynamic coefficients varied with the ship speed. The effect of the ship speed on the linear coefficients was considered in the mathematical model, and manoeuvring motions, such as turning circles and zig-zags, were simulated with various approach speeds and analyzed.

  • The International Maritime Organization (IMO) adopted the International Convention on the Control of Ships' Air Pollutants and Discharge as it became interested in environmental issues such as global warming and air pollution. In addition, a special bill on the improvement of air quality, including in port areas, has recently been enacted in Korea to reduce the amount of fine dust generated. As part of such fine dust reduction measures, feasibility studies have been underway on converting diesel engines into battery electric propulsion systems that do not cause fine dust and emissions. Since the battery electric propulsion system can easily utilize renewable energy sources, and does not generate exhaust gas due to combustion of fuel, small coastal ferries with battery electric propulsion systems that use renewable energy have been operating in Europe and the U.S. for several years. However, they have not been introduced in Korea. Therefore, in this study, we selected small coastal ferries in Korea as target ferries, and performed simulations to study the applicability of electric propulsion with batteries linked to solar power systems. Based on the results, we want to confirm the applicability of battery electric propulsion.

  • 민들조개(Gomphina melanaegis)는 우리 나라의 동해안 및 남해안에 널리 분포하고 있으며, 주로 연안에서 소형 선박을 이용하여 형망으로 어획하고 있다. 최근, 우리나라에서도 연안 어업자원의 관리 및 지속적 유효이용이 중요한 관심사항으로 부각되었으며, 이와 관련된 다양한 연구가 수행되고 있으나, 대부분 어류를 대상으로 하는 어구의 연구가 대부분을 차지하고 있으며 패류를 포획 대상으로 하고 있는 형망 어업과 관련된 연구는 매우 적다. (중략)
