  • Residual pharmaceutical compounds have been recognized as emerging environmental pollutants and are widely distributed all over the world. These compounds cause bioaccumulation and biomagnification during present for a long time in the environment: thereby after adversely biota and human bodies. It is difficult to remove residual pharmaceutical compounds using conventional water/wastewater treatment because of resistant property to photodegradation, biodegradation and chemical decomposition. Moreover, domestic literature data on the pollution of residual pharmaceutical compounds in rivers and lakes are limited. In this paper, species, sources, fate and risk of residual pharmaceutical compounds as well as behavior properties in freshwater resources are demonstrated to encourage the domestic concern about residual pharmaceutical compounds. An extensive review of existing data in the form of figures and tables, encompassing many therapeutic classes are presented.

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide baseline on the current status and the activation of BIM in civil engineering which can integrate and manage the information and tasks generated during the life cycle. Hierarchical analysis was conducted to identify the level of BIM application, recognition survey for practitioners, and activation plans. The survey results show similar trends in BIM activation inhibition factor, the need for BIM, the effect of BIM and the future possibility of BIM. The utilization of BIM and the technical training in the civil engineering field were lower than those in the architectural field. The analysis of AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) is performed to identify the degree of importance in financial, operational, investment, technical, and institutional sections as its activating factors. As a result, the technical factor points the highest degree. Thus, study shows the direction to apply BIM in civil engineering in the future by suggesting an efficient plan.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate music therapists'use and perception of computer-based music technology. Questionnaires were distributed either electronically or in-person to 367 music therapists with credentials. Of the 367 initially distributed questionnaires, 101 were returned and 61 were analyzed after excluding 40 incomplete responses. The survey was comprised of two sections: the use of music technology and perceived importance of music technology in music therapy practice. The results showed that 65.6% of the respondents had used music technology in their clinical practice. The most frequently used type of music technology was Finale, followed by Garage band, and Cubase. With regard to the areas where music technology was used, it was implemented primarily for adolescents for musical or emotional goals, and was applied most frequently as a musical resource. In addition, most respondents showed a positive attitude toward music technology and added that they would need to be trained to use music technology for their clinical practice. These results provide practical information on how music therapists use and perceive computer-based music technology, and its implication for music therapy clinical practice.

  • Nowadays, it grows bigger the importance of water resource management, and so, hydrographic surveying technology in river is important because it serves basic data about river environment. And, also, the application field of GPS has been increased and expected to be more increased because of the change of the geodetic reference system to World Geodetic System. In this study, hydrographic surveying in Hwang river in Geochang is accomplished by RTK GPS and Total Station and they are compared and analyzed the both results. The section profile in river is made by Hec-Ras program and CAD. The results show it can be saved 15.3% in surveying times and the amount of surveying works can be enlarged 42.5%. And the standard error between RTK results with calibration and the results without calibration turned out as 2.1 cm. So we have a conclusion that RTK GPS is more efficient surveying method than total station in hydrographic surveying in river.

  • Recently our government has presented the realization of 'Creative Economy' as a primary goal of the state administration through encouraging start-ups and ventures. Activation of entrepreneurship education is an important task for a national job creation and entrepreneurship activation policy. Since 2012, as a mid and long term project, the Korea Ministry of Education has led to activate creative entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial culture within university by installing entrepreneurship centers respectively in 61 universities. In this study, we provide future entrepreneurship improvement subject and policy implication through the case analysis of entrepreneurship center operation and management. In order to achieve the research purpose, we will examine the program and condition of successful entrepreneurship centers in overseas universities and explore the factors that can enhance domestic entrepreneurship center development and operational effectiveness by analyzing 61 university-entrepreneurship center survey. First, primary research was conducted through survey focusing on organization and operation of centers, entrepreneurship education, startup support for students and entrepreneurship culture activation to proceed with comparative analysis. Through this case study, we expect to be able to derive policy implications for the effective operation of entrepreneurship center and the nurture of creative entrepreneurial young generation.
