Factor Analysis of the Motivation on Crowdfunding Participants : An Empirical Study of Funder Centered Reward-type Platform (Crowdfunding 활성화를 위한 투자자 동기요인 분석 : 후원형(Reward) 플랫폼의 투자자(Funder)를 중심으로)

  • Crowdfunding is a novel method for funding from many individuals using web based platform often in return for products or equity. It allows individual entrepreneurs to create diverse products and services. This thesis elaborates a theoretical foundation for identifying the factors that must have motivated the funders in sponsoring crowdfunding projects. Based on the motivation theory, the proposed research model is constructed with intrinsic and extrinsic motivations from relevant literatures. We also examined how different crowdfunding modes ('Keeping It All' and 'All or Nothing') moderate the proposed research model. Based on the survey from various crowdfunding service providers in Korea, this empirical study found that continuous participation in crowdfunding is positively correlated with factors such as enjoyment, familiarity, agency credibility and reward, while peer-influence shows negative correlation. Furthermore, moderating effects of funding modes significantly affect continuous participation. These empirical results contribute insights on the emerging phenomenon of crowdfunding from funders' perspectives and shed lights more on the ways that the actions of platform providers may affect their ability to receive entrepreneurial financing.

  • This research dwells on categorization and industrialization of cultural heritage resources using marketing. Since many organization would not grab the chance of business while doing marketing using cultural heritage, the paper intend to suggest proper way to develop strategy. For that purpose, this research analyzed some advanced cases of corporate like Google and other national endeavors. This paper founded out 4 models of marketing using cultural heritage resources. These are re-creation, patron, capitalization and media. Also we got practical implications of the case analysis and modeling which are collaboration partnership scheme between marketers and filed expert group. Marketers better find fitful information and right person utilizing more reliable sources such as national archives, and academic achievements. If the marketers implement such strategic program, really abundant types of cultural heritage resources using marketing could bring more favorable profit which means business chance and new horizon for global culture industry.

  • This paper was analyzed to improve internal corporate venture system in public companies. The problems of internal corporate venture systems in a public company were as follows: First, lack of the CEO's willingness in venture business was shown. The culture of venture business also was not mature; Second, the employees were behind the effort to develop their business ability; Third, the objective views are needed to screening venture items and evaluation; Fourth, to measure performance of internal corporate venture, a clear basis and measure system were needed. Fifth, the reward was restricted; Finally, the mother-company did not invest any money for the spin-outed ventures The results of the paper were as follows: First, the CEO's support and effusion of venture culture were needed for successful internal corporate venture system; Second, a public company has to provide education program for venture and information--sharing system; Third, outside consultant may be utilized in finding venture items and feasibility evaluation. Fourth, each venture team may be provided a clear object and specific evaluation system based on characteristic of each team; Fifth, performance-base reward system is needed to enhance motivation; Finally, the public company has to provide find for the spin-off venture by utilizing government system and forming venture capital funds.

Industrial Cluster Policies of the Korean Government in the Early 2000s: The Case of Daejeon (지방 차원의 산업 클러스터 정책: 대전광역시를 사례로)

  • To tackle the problem of regional economic and social disparities in Korea, the government of Roh, Mu-Hyun(2003-2007), launched a series of radical policies and programs to decentralize administrative activities of the capital region and stimulate economic growth in less developed regions, based on regional innovation systems and industrial cluster concepts. This paper highlights the Roh government's approach to reducing regional disparities, and makes some comments on the innovation cluster strategy by investigating the realities appearing in a major city, Daejeon. It concludes that many ministries of the Roh government created various competing, undifferentiated programs that were assigned too much money and energy, and drained resources from other governmental activities. In fact, very few programs show positive signs of achieving the goals of innovation in less developed regions, balancing the growth gaps between well-off regions and the rest of Korea, and generating overall economic growth for the country.

  • This study aims to analyze a whole network effectiveness by expanding the unit of analysis beyond individual organizations in a network into network-level collaborative relations. Data for the analysis were drawn from the evaluation reports and surveys of leaders, mid-level managers, and staff members of the organizations participating in 'Community Network Building' project which was funded by Community Chest of Korea and carried out by the Academy of Korean Social Welfare Administration from November 2006 to November 2009. For the analysis, three out of the 10 networks established in diverse local communities were selected. Based on the survey conducted on the participating organizations and the center organization of each network, we analyzed the structural characteristics of interorganizational network at a network-level. Second, to analyze effectiveness of the whole network, we employed a multiple stakeholders perspective and examined the relations between the whole network's structure and its effectiveness. The findings showed that the whole network effectiveness is higher when the network is more centralized around the hub organization and more stable. The significance of this study is that it is provided and tested a new framework for network effectiveness evaluation by combining the two network effectiveness evaluation framework of Provan and Milward's with evolutionary organizational theory.

A Study on the Effectiveness of Design Management through Design Distribution System (Design Distribution System을 통한 디자인 운영 효용성에 관한 연구)

  • Design is already an integral part of our lives and is in many different forms. Creating a variety of designs has made it more important to establish the value of the design, and maintaining consistency through correct use and distribution of the developed design as important as development. The 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympics, which were held at the groval level, played an important role in creating and operating diverse contents to promote Korea to the world. He created emblems with the motif of " Hangul, " which can reflect Korean characteristics, and a mascot that reveals the identity of the competition. The generated contents were created as design guides for the convenience of users (sponsors, media, relevant agencies, etc.) and managed through the Design Distribution System (DDS). The researcher wants to determine the effectiveness and value of the design distribution and management system based on the results obtained by operating the DDS of POCOG.

  • 환경보전의 초석을 쌓아 올렸던 20세기를 뒤로하고 새로운 기술 도약과 발전을 지향하는 21세기를 맞이하는 가운데, 어느덧 우리 학회도 창립 20주년을 맞이하게 되었습니다. 1983년 ‘한국대기보전학회’하는 학회명으로 출범하였던 우리학회는 1998년 현재의 ‘한국대기환경학회’로 명칭을 변경하여 현재에 이르기까지 대기환경분야의 인재양성, 학술연구과 정책방안 제시 등 수많은 활동들을 펼쳐왔습니다. 특히, 2001년에는 제12차 세계대전보전대회(IUAPPA 12th World Clean Air and Environment Congress & Exhibition)를 성황리에 개최하였으며, 2002년 12월에는 우리 학회지가 KSCI로 등재되는 등 명실공히, ‘세계 속의 학회’로 발전하기에 이르렀습니다. 이제 20살의 청년으로 성장한 우리 학회는 숨가쁘게 뛰어온 지난 과정을 되돌아보고 한 단계 더 높이 도약하기 위하여, 그 동안의 다양한 활동과 사연을 정리하여 학회 창립 20주년 기념집인 ‘대기환경 20년사’를 발간하게 되었습니다. 본 기념집에는 학회 활동을 한눈에 보여주는 화보와 역대 회장님들의 회고를 비롯하여 대기환경의 주요 분야를 대상으로 각 분야의 과거, 현재, 미래에 관한 고견 등을 담았습니다. 부디 20주년 기념집이 살아있는 ‘대기환경보전’의 지침서로서 앞으로 대기환경을 연구하는 많은 사람들에게 유용한 자료가 되기를 기원하는 바입니다. 우리 학회의 오늘이 있기까지 학회 발전을 위하여 최선을 다해주신 선배님들과 회원들의 노고에 심심한 감사를 드립니다. 이제 ‘성년’으로 성장한 우리 학회는 ‘세계속의 학회’로서 우리 학회에 부여된 시대적 소명을 인식하고 우리나라뿐만 아니라 전 지구의 대기환경보전과 대기환경분야의 인재 양성에 일익을 담당하는 학술기관으로 거듭날 것을 다짐하는 바입니다. 끝으로, 본 기념집이 발간되기까지 수고를 아끼지 않으신 조강래 위원장을 비롯한 20주년 특별위원회 위원들과, 귀한 시간을 내주시어 기념집 옥고를 작성해주신 집필진, 그리고 기념집의 완성도를 높이기 위하여 수고한 사무국 간사님들께 심심한 감사 인사를 드립니다. 또, 본 기념집의 발간을 기꺼이 후원해 주신 기업체 여러분께도 고마운 마음을 전합니다. 학회 창립 20주년을 회원 여러분과 함께 축하하며, 회원 여러분의 무궁한 발전과 건투를 바라마지 않습니다. 우리 학회는 ‘21세기 푸른하늘의 꿈’을 회원 여러분과 함께 이루어 갈 것입니다. 감사합니다

Establishment and Operation of the Local Government Archives: Recommendations (지방기록물관리기관 설립의 방향과 방법)

  • Local governments in Korea, sixteen in total, shall establish local government archives to and manage preserve their permanent archives to comply with the Public Records Management Act amended in October 2006. National Archives of Korea(NAK) directed the local governments to recruit legally qualified archivists by the end 0f 2006 and to plan on the establishment and operation of the local government archives by the end 2007. However, none of the government archives was established by far. Government officials in NAK and the local governments raised the limits of the budget and human resources. What is more serious is that they don't concern why the archives are necessary and what missions and functions the archives should have. In this paper, I summarized the present situation and problems in establishing the local archives, and what we will do to establish normal government archives. First, local governments should establish "local government records commissions" and employ qualified archivists. The local government records commission should comprise concerned and qualified members. The records commission, as a policy and decision-making body, should make plans and implement the plans to establish the local archives, establish professional training programs to produce qualified archivists, promote local archives community activities, determine operational issues, and make a long-term development plan satisfying local demands. Second, the local government archives share existing repositories of NAK. Third, after the establishment of the archives, the local archives should perform normal records and archives management of the local governments as records acts mandate, do general records surveys and appraise the records created in the local governments. The local government archives should collect valuable local archives including private archives, and arrange and make usable them to provide access. They also promote and coordinate various cultural heritage community activities related to the local archives.

  • '공포의 값비싼 대가(The High Cost of Fear)'는 공개된 자료 중 동료 평가를 마친 최신의 자료와 간단한 계산 방법을 통해 한국의 탈원전 정책이 가져올 경제적, 환경적 영향을 분석한 보고서이다. 우리는 탈원전 정책이 다음과 같은 영향을 미칠 것으로 예측한다. ${\cdot}$천연가스 구매에만 최소 매년 100억 달러의 비용이 들 것이다. 이는 한국 평균임금인 연소득 29,125달러를 받는 일자리 343,000개에 해당하는 금액이다. ${\cdot}$비용의 대부분은 연료 수입에 사용될 것이며, 한국의 무역 수지가 악화될 것이다. ${\cdot}$한국의 부족한 재생에너지 자원을 고려할 때, 상당한 양의 화석 연료를 추가로 사용하게 될 것이다. ${\cdot}$LNG 발전소가 석탄 발전소를 대체하지 못하고 원자력발전소를 대체하면서 대기 오염으로 인한 조기 사망자 수가 증가할 것이다. ${\cdot}$한국의 전도유망한 원전 수출 산업이 아예 붕괴되거나 큰 타격을 입을 것이다. ${\cdot}$평균적 미국 자동차의 연간 주행거리를 기준으로 150만대에서 270만대의 미국 자동차가 배출하는 배기가스의 양만큼 연간 탄소 배출이 증가할 것이고, 한국은 파리기후협정에서 약속한 탄소 배출 감축 목표를 달성할 수 없게 된다. 본 보고서는 현재 계획된 탈원전 정책의 역사적 사회적 배경을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. ${\cdot}$'그린피스(Greenpeace)', '지구의 친구들(Friends for the Earth)' 등 막대한 자금 지원을 받는 해외 환경단체들은 탈원전 거짓 정보의 근원이며, 이들은 저렴하고 풍부한 에너지라는 개념을 반대한다. ${\cdot}$후쿠시마 원전 사고와 그 여파의 주된 원인은 일본 원자력산업계의 오만과 원자력에 대한 과장된 집단 공포이다. ${\cdot}$반핵 진영의 논리에는 산업계와 정부에 대한 불신과 원자력, 방사선에 대한 몰이해가 반영되어 있다. ${\cdot}$반핵 진영은 후쿠시마 사고를 2014년 한수원 납품 비리 사태의 심각성을 과장하는 데 사용하고 있다. 2014년의 비리 사태는 한국 원자력 규제기관의 독립성을 증명했으며, 2016년의 경주 지진은 2011년 후쿠시마에서 쓰나미와 노심 용융을 초래한 동일본 대지진의 1/350,000의 크기밖에 되지 않는다. 본 보고서는 한국과 타국가의 반핵 운동이 주는 교훈을 다음과 같이 정리하였다. ${\cdot}$어떠한 국가도 에너지 자원 최빈국인 프랑스나 한국 같은 국가조차도 탈원전 '전쟁'에서 자유롭지 않으며, 이는 전 세계적으로 원자력산업이 쇠퇴하는 원인이다. ${\cdot}$원자력산업계, 정부, IAEA 등은 한국과 세계 여러 국가에서- 문화적, 제도적, 재정적 원인으로 원자력산업의 보호와 확대라는 목표를 달성할 수 없다. ${\cdot}$원자력산업을 구하기 위해서는 새로운 비전과 새로운 제도, 그리고 새로운 리더십이 필요하다. ${\cdot}$원자력의 근원적이고 혁신적인 비전 원자력 인본주의(atomic humanism)에 대한 재조명이 필요하다. ${\cdot}$원자력을 지키고 대중과 소통하기 위해 과학 연구단체, 대학교, 사단법인, NGO 등의 새로운 기관들을 후원해야 한다. ${\cdot}$공포를 조장하는 반원전 세력에 맞서 공포를 극복해야 하고, 대중의 공포를 극복해왔던 다른 기술들의 사례에서 교훈을 얻어야 한다.

Korean Start-up Ecosystem based on Comparison of Global Countries: Quantitative and Qualitative Research (글로벌 국가 비교를 통한 한국 기술기반 스타트업 생태계 진단: 정량 및 정성 연구)

  • Technology-based start-up is important in that it encourages innovation, facilitates the development of new products and services, and contributes to job creation. Technology-based start-up activates entrepreneurship when appropriate support is provided within the ecosystem. Thus, understanding the technology-based start-up ecosystem is crucial. The purpose of this study is as follows. First, in Herrmann et al.'s(2015) study, we compare and analyze the ecosystem of each country by selecting representative regions such as Silicon Valley, Tel Aviv, London and Singapore which have the highest ranking in the start-up ecosystem. Second, we try to deeply understand the start-up ecosystem based on in-depth interviews with various stakeholders such as VC investors, start-ups, support organizations, and professors related to the Korean start-up ecosystem. Finally, based on the results of the study, we suggest development and activation of Korean technology-based start-up ecosystem. As a result, the Seoul start-up ecosystem showed a positive evaluation of government support compared to other advanced countries. In addition, it was confirmed that the ratio of tele-work and start-up company working experience of employees was higher than other countries. On the other hand, in Seoul, It was confirmed that overseas market performance, human resource diversity, attracting investment, hiring technological engineers, and the ratio of female entrepreneurs were lower than those of overseas advanced countries. In addition, according to the results of the interview analysis, Seoul was able to find that start-up ecosystems such as individual angel investors, accelerators, support institution, and media are developing thanks to the government's market-oriented policy support. However, in order for this development to continue, it is necessary to improve the continuous investment system, expansion of diversity, investment return system, and accessibility to the global market. A discussion on this issue is presented.
