In recent years, the changes in information technology have been so dramatic and the rate of changes has increased so much that information science research rigorously evolves with the passage of time and proliferates in diverging research directions dynamically. The aims of this study are to provide a global overview of research trends in information science and to trace its changes in the main topics over time. The study examined the topics of research articles published in JASIST between 1985 and 2009 and identified its changes during five 5 year periods. The study found that the most productive area has consistently been 'Information Retrieval', followed by 'Informetrics', 'Information Use and Users', 'Network and Technology', and 'Publishing and Services'. Information retrieval is a predominant core area in Information Science covering computer-based handling of multimedia information, employment of new semantic methods from other disciplines, and mass information handling on virtual environments. Currently Informetric studies shift from finding existing phenomena to seeking valuable descriptive results and researchers of information use have concentrated especially on information-seeking aspects, so adding greater sophistication to the relatively simple approach taken in information retrieval.

본 연구는 한국 조명전기설비학회에 게재된 학술논문 및 DBPIA에서 검색된 조명관련 학술논문을 대상으로 조명 분야의 연구동향을 살펴본 것이다. 그 결과, 한국 조명전기설비학회지에 발표된 전체 논문 수는 꾸준히 상승하고 있었으나 조명분야의 논문 수와 저자 수는 매우 열악함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 다른 학회에서 조명분야를 연구하는 동향을 살펴본 결과, 건축분야에서 가장 많은 연구가 이루어짐을 알 수 있었으며, 우리나라 조명학 연구자 Pool은 2004년 기준 276명으로 파악되었다.

시스템보안연구센터는 침입감내, 대응 및 방지에 필요한 시스템보안분야의 원천기술을 개발하고 정보보호업체와 함께 해당 기술을 상용화하는 것을 목표로 연구개발을 진행해 왔다. 산학일체형 연구교육모델을 정립하고 실천하여 우수한 정보보호인력을 양성함으로써 정보보호분야 IT고급인력양성이라는 교육적 목표와 함께 시스템보안분야 원천기술 확보 및 제품개발에 기여하는 산업적 효과를 얻고자 노력해 왔다. 참여교수와 대학원생, 정보보호 산업체 인력들의 8년 간 연구개발노력으로 시스템분야 보안제품 상용화와 기술이전, 연구논문발표와 특허 등록, 우수인력 배출 등 여러 지표에서 당초 목표 이상의 실적을 달성하였으며, 향후 지금까지 구축된 시스템보안분야 기술개발능력과 산학협력 네트워크를 기반으로 우리나라가 지식정보보안산업 강국으로 자리잡는데 지속적으로 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구의 목적은 바이오뱅크(생명연구자원 소재은행)분야의 연구데이터 관리 및 서비스 동향을 고찰하고 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 바이오뱅크 분야의 연구데이터 관리 및 서비스와 관련하여 해외 선진 사례를 프로그램과 서비스 모델측면에서 조사하였다. 조사된 프로그램과 서비스 모델은 ATCC(American Type Culture Collection), BIobank Data Sharing (MIABIS 2.0 Core), WDCM(World Data Center for Microorganism/Word Federation for Culture Collection)이다. 각각의 프로그램과 서비스 모델에서 시사점을 도출하였으며, 본 연구에서는 이를 기반으로 국내 생명연구자원 바이오뱅크 분야의 연구데이터 관리 및 서비스를 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the extent of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-related research in the field of entrepreneurship globally since the adoption of the SDGs at the UN General Assembly, and to compare international and domestic research trends in order to determine the direction of SDGs-related research in entrepreneurship in Korea. Utilizing three databases-Web of Science (WoS), KCI, and DBpia- SDGs-related studies in entrepreneurship were extracted by employing specific search terms. After data purification, a total of 356 studies abroad and 4 studies in Korea were used for analysis. After data purification, a total of 356 international studies and 4 Korean studies were analyzed. Due to the limited number of domestic studies, the research trends were examined by conducting frequency analysis and keyword network analysis on international studies alone. Frequency analysis revealed that SDGs research in entrepreneurship primarily focused on sustainability-related terms and was conducted in conjunction with business models, innovation, entrepreneurship education, and strategies. Furthermore, yearly frequency analysis demonstrated an expansion of topics to encompass research on entrepreneurship and SDGs policies, the roles and capabilities of female entrepreneurs in SDGs implementation, energy start-ups and SDGs, directions for implementing SDGs in business schools and SDGs education, indicators for SDGs implementation and evaluation, and technologies for sustainability. The keyword network analysis identified central topics such as business, sustainability, SDGs, innovation, entrepreneurship, business models, and education, with research areas extending to entrepreneurship ecosystems, change and strategy, ethics, and climate. This study holds significance in establishing a foundation for SDGs research in entrepreneurship, which is currently an underexplored area in Korea, by presenting emerging research trends related to SDGs in entrepreneurship.

Today, faculty performance evaluations conducted in universities to comprehensively assess faculty members have yielded outcomes that deviate from the original intent of the system due to its quantitative assessment-centric approach. The field of theater arts, in particular, faces challenges in fairly and objectively measuring research and creative achievements through traditional quantitative evaluation methods, owing to the highly subjective nature of its outputs compared to other academic disciplines. This study proposes a method to improve the evaluation of research and creative achievements in the field of theater arts through the utilization of big data. First, we investigated the current evaluation criteria and methods used in research and creative achievement assessments in theater arts departments at major domestic universities. Next, we analyzed the key issues related to the existing evaluation system for research and creative achievements in the field of theater arts. Finally, we presented an improvement plan for the evaluation system using the big data available from the Korea Performing Arts Box Office Information System (KOPIS). This study aims to support the research and creative activities of theater arts faculty more effectively and to enhance the competitive edge of universities.

본 연구에서는 21세기 기술개발 방향 및 기술속성에 의해 분류된 새로운 분류법에 의한 기술체계도를 제시한다. 지금까지 배전기술개발 분류는 중장기연구개발 계획을 근거로 하여, 3개의 기술개발 분야로 분류되어 왔으나, 이 방법은 광범위한 기술개발 분야의 분류로 상호간의 중복되는 분야가 발생하거나, 새로운 기술 분야에 대한 기술 분류의 어려움이 상존해 있었다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해, 본 연구에서는 기술의 전개방향과 속성을 기준으로 배전분야의 최종목표와 추진분야, 주요 기술개발과제(R&D과제)로 구성된 새로운 배전기술개발 체계도를 제시한다.

본 연구는 학술커뮤니케이션에서 활용되는 온라인 전자출판물의 이용과 인용도에 대한 상관관계 분석과 유용성의 차이를 평가하고자 하는 연구목적을 수행하기 위해 학술지에 게재된 게재기사에 온라인 전자출판물을 인용한 저자들을 대상으로 이용도와 인용도를 조사하였으며, 학술지에 게재된 게재기사에 인용된 온라인 전자 출판물의 사회과학분야와 자연과학분야 간 유용성에 대해 비교 분석하였다. 학술지에 게재된 게재기사에 온라인 전자출판물을 인용한 저자의 이용도와 학술지에 인용된 온라인 전자출판물의 수와 인용비율간의 상관관계는 저자들의 온라인 전자출판물 주당 이용시간과 이용종수가 증가하더라도 저자들이 학술지에 인용하는 온라인 전자출판물의 수와 인용비율은 증가하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 사회과학분야와 자연과학분야 간에 있어서 학술지에 인용되는 온라인 전자출판물의 유용성에는 차이가 없었다. 따라서 학술지의 게재기사에 온라인 전자출판물을 인용한 저자들이 온라인 전자출판물을 많이 이용하는 것과 온라인 전자출판물을 실제로 인용하는 것에는 상관관계가 없으며, 측정요소를 통하여 평가한 사회과학 분야와 자연과학분야에서 온라인 전자출판물의 유용성에는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

지난달 19일 진대제 정보통신부 장관은 지능형 로봇을 비롯한 IT분야 10대 차세대 성장동력 연구사업을 관리할 프로젝트 매니저 8명을 위촉하고 위촉장을 전달했다.이날 디지털콘텐츠 및 SW솔루션 분야 PM으로 정식 위촉된 박세영박사(46)은 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI) 지식정보연구부장 출신의 기업가로 학문적 깊이와 연구 및 기획력, CEO경험 등을 두루 갖춘 전문가로 인정받고 있다. 특히 디지털콘텐츠 분야의 특성상 게임, 애니메이션, 모바일콘텐츠, e-러닝 등 다양한 분야에 대한 폭넓은 전문지식을 갖추고 있어야 한다는 점에서 적임자라는 것이 주위의 평가다. 디지털콘텐츠 분야 육성정책 방향의 키맨(Key-Man)으로 등장한 박세영 박사를 만나 이번 사업에 대한 견해와 향후 계획, 시장을 바라보는 시각 등에 대해 들어봤다.
