This paper summarizes on the state-of-the-art research on the reinforced concrete (RC) walls for evaluating and predicting the performance of RC walls analytically and experimentally. A brief discussion of the research trends is presented to propose the further research direction of RC walls. In the paper, 102 papers published on the ACI, Engineering Structure, KCI journal, and AIK journal are collected and reviewed.

This study aims to analyze the research trend of Korean medicine based on social network analysis. To do this, a dataset has been collected from KCI (Korea Citation Index) database. According to the results, we have identify the longitudinal trend of the number of papers, journals, organizations and key words in this field. Moreover, based on the nodes' centrality of co-author network, we have found a core journal (i.e. Korean Journal of Oriental Physiology and Pathology), a hub institution (i.e. Kyunghee university) and two main key words (i.e. anti-oxidation and acupuncture) in the research network. In conclusion, integrating field experts' tacit knowledge in Korean medicine studies with the results of the explicit social network analysis on the research trend, we put forward further policy implications with regard to R&D strategies in this field.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trends of 114 papers about mathematical creativity published in domestic journals from 1997 to 2011 with regard to the years, objects, subjects, and methods of such research. The research of mathematical creativity education has been studied since 2000. The frequent objects in the research were non-human, middle and high school students, elementary students, gifted students, teachers (in-service and pre-service), and kindergarteners in order. The research on the teaching methods of mathematical creativity, the general study of mathematical creativity, or the measurement and the evaluation of mathematical creativity was active, whereas that of dealing with curricula and textbooks was rare. The qualitative research method was more frequently used than the quantitative research one. The mixed research method was hardly used. On the basis of these results, this paper shows how mathematical creativity was studied until now and gives some implications for the future research direction in mathematical creativity.

In this paper, we apply KeyBERT(Keyword extraction with Bidirectional Encoder Representations of Transformers) algorithm-driven topic extraction and topic frequency analysis to deep learning and reinforcement learning research to discover the rapidly changing trends in them. First, we crawled abstracts of research papers on deep learning and reinforcement learning, and temporally divided them into two groups. After pre-processing the crawled data, we extracted topics using KeyBERT algorithm, and then analyzed the extracted topics in terms of topic occurrence frequency. This analysis reveals that there are distinct trends in research work of all analyzed algorithms and applications, and we can clearly tell which topics are gaining more interest. The analysis also proves the effectiveness of the utilized topic extraction and topic frequency analysis in research trend analysis, and this trend analysis scheme is expected to be used for research trend analysis in other research fields. In addition, the analysis can provide insight into how deep learning will evolve in the near future, and provide guidance for select research topics and methodologies by informing researchers of research topics and methodologies which are recently attracting attention.

The current study aims at reviewing digital archives and preservation research trends from diverse disciplines in order to shed light on what have been accomplished so far as well as what should be done to make progress. A total of 115 research articles have been selected from 2 journals of archival science and 28 journals of library and information science, computer science, and others. Selected articles are categorized into four subject areas. For each subject area, research trends are reviewed.

This article aims to explore and discuss research trends in global cruise industry using keyword network analysis. We visualize keyword networks in each of four groups of 1982-1999, 2000-2004, 2005-2009, 2010-2014 based on the top 20 keyword nodes' degree centrality and betweenness centrality which are selected among four centrality measurements, comparing them with frequency order. The article shows that keyword frequency collected from 240 articles published in international journals is subject to Zipf's law and nodes degree distribution also exhibits power law. We try to find out research trends in global cruise industry to change some important keywords diachronically, visualizing several networks focusing on the top two keywords, cruise and tourism, belonging to all the four year groups, with high degree and betweenness centrality values. Interestingly enough, a new node, China, connecting the top most keywords, appears in the most recent period of 2010-2014 when China has emerged as one of the rapid development countries in global cruise industry. Therefore keyword network analysis used in this article will be useful to understand research trends in global cruise industry because of increase and decrease of numbers of network types in different year groups and the visual connection between important nodes in giant components.

In this paper, we analyze the research / technology trends of electric vehicles from 2001 to 2014, through keyword analysis using paper data published in SCIE or SSCI Journal on electric vehicles, time series analysis using patent data by IPC, and network analysis using nodeXL. also we predicted promising technologies of electric vehicles using one of the prediction methods, weighted moving average method. As a result of this study, battery technology among the electric vehicle component technologies appeared as a promising technology.

차세대 네트워크에서 이용자 중심의 융합 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 지식을 보유하고 활용하는 서비스 플랫폼 기술에 대한 연구 동향을 분석한다. 먼저 이용자 중심의 차세대 서비스에 대한 요구사항을 분석하고, 이를 만족시키기 위한 서비스 인프라 및 서비스 사례에 대하여 기술한다. 다음에는 차세대 서비스 인프라를 실현시키는 기술 개발 동향에 대하여 살펴보는데, 기반 기술이 되는 통신 서비스 SOA 기술과 이를 바탕으로 진행되는 국내외의 지식기반 서비스 플랫폼 기술 개발 프로젝트에 대한 현황을 분석한다. 마지막으로는 차세대 통신 서비스 플랫폼을 발전시켜 IT 기반 융합 서비스 플랫폼으로 발전시키려는 비전과 표준화에 대한 최근 동향을 살펴본다.
