This paper investigates the effect of competition on innovative activity. In the research contest, the foremost reason for limiting entry into tournaments is to raise the level of contestant's effort and to make the firms compete so that high value of innovation will be procured. Thus, a sponsor (or government) needs to take account into effort-inducing effect as well as effort-reducing effect from competition when she restricts entry. In this paper, this competition effect will be analyzed for the model of procurement for innovation, and it is shown that the individual effort level is not monotonic to the number of contestants.

국내 소프트웨어 산업은 갈수록 치열해지는 시장의 무한 경쟁에서 글로벌 기업들의 공세에 그 경쟁력을 잃어 가고 있다. 소프트웨어 산업은 다른 산업과는 매우 다른 구조적인 특징을 갖고 있으며 국내 중소 벤처기업들이 제품의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서는 소프트웨어 품질의 향상을 위한 지속적인 투자와 노력이 필요하다. 기업은 단지 기능상의 화려한 소프트웨어의 개발이 아닌 고객 요구에 맞는 제품의 개발과 개발된 제품의 서비스 품질관리에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 더 많은 투자를 해야 한다. 이러한 배경에서 본 논문은 Kano 모델과 QFD를 통하여 중소벤처 소프트웨어 개발 업체의 서비스 품질 제고를 통한 경쟁력 향상 방안에 대해 연구하고자한다. 또한 본 연구를 기반으로 국내 패키지 소프트웨어 개발 기업이 국내외 시장에서 글로벌 제품에 대한 서비스 품질 경쟁력을 확보하고 이러한 분석된 데이터를 기반으로 소프트웨어의 개발 이전 단계부터 중소 벤처 기업이 충분한 경쟁력 확보를 할 수 있는 연구 모형을 설계하고자 한다.

코로나19 이후 글로벌 물류대란, 우크나이나 전쟁으로 시작된 글로벌 이슈가 부산을 비롯한 글로벌 선진 해운도시의 경쟁력에 미치는 영향을 객관적으로 살펴보기 위한 평가도구의 필요성이 꾸준히 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 글로벌 해운도시의 경쟁력과 잠재력을 평가하는 해운도시경쟁력지수를 개발하기 위한 기초연구의 토대를 제공코자 한다.

OTS(Operator Training Simulator) 소프트웨어는 원자력발전소, 화력발전소 또는 화학공장 등과 같은 플랜트의 동적 특성을 실제의 플랜트와 같게 컴퓨터 환경을 이용하여 모의하는 기능을 수행한다. OTS 소프트웨어는 개발 규모가 방대하고 개발에 소요되는 시간과 비용부담이 큰 특징을 갖는다. 또한 플랜트 공정제어와 감시에 대한 전문지식이 요구된다. 따라서 OTS 소프트웨어 개발은 정부투자기관이나 연구기관의 자체인력을 활용하여 개발되어 왔다. 그러나, 최근에는 아웃소싱이 보편화됨에 따라 OTS 소프트웨어 개발 또한 외주개발 형태를 띄게 되었다. OTS 소프트웨어 외주개발은 소프트웨어 개발회사들에게 동등한 기회를 부여하기 위하여 일반적으로 2 단계 공개경쟁 형태로 프로젝트가 수행된다. 즉, 기술규격경쟁과 가격경쟁의 결과에 따라 외주개발 회사가 선정된다. 국내 소프트웨어 개발회사들의 경우에 OTS 소프트웨어 개발경험이 적으므로 OTS 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트 수주를 위한 첫 번째 장벽은 발주자의 제안요청서에 합당하는 기술 제안서를 작성하여 OTS 소프트웨어를 개발할 수 있는 기술적 사업적 능력이 충분함을 입증하는 일이다 본 연구에서는 OTS의 유형과 특징, 프로젝트의 기술제안서 평가요소를 고찰하고 OTS 소프트웨어 개발에 참여하려 고 개발회사가 제안서를 작성 제출할 경우에 기술규격 경쟁에서 우위를 점할 수 있는 기술제안서 작성방안을 토의한다.

최근 우리나라가 직면하고 있는 국가 경쟁력 상실이 기술개발의 부족에 기인하는 것으로 보고, 이를 개선하기 위해 그간 대기업의 소품종 대량생산을 위주로 하는 산업체제를 기술중심의 고부가가치를 갖는 다품종소량생산 체제로 전환하는 구조조정을 유도하고 있다. 우리나라의 원자력 연구개발은 표준경수로 설계기술의 자립이라는 1단계 기술개발 목표를 달성하고, 이를 바탕으로 보다 높은 수준의 기술을 달성하기 위해 2010년을 계획기간으로 하는 원자력진흥종합계획을 수립하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 기술개발 활동을 통해 습득된 원자력기술을 내부적으로는 개발된 기술의 유용성을 증대하고, 외부적으로는 국가 경쟁력 강화 노력에 따라 발생하는 기술수요 노력을 능동적으로 지원할 수 있는 원자력 기술확산의 가능성을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 원자력기술과 다른 기술 분야와의 기술연관성을 조사하여 원자력기술의 확산가능성을 분석하고, 기술이 응용되고 있는 구체적인 사례를 조사하였다. 또한 기술파급이 실제 이루어지고 있는 경우에 이루어지는 기술확산의 경로와 유형들의 체제를 분석하였다.

Variables such as R&D capability and organizational orientation have been dealt with in previous studies on factors that affect the success of new products/services in technology-based companies, but there have been few studies examining the causal relationship of these variables from an integrated perspective. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of the organizational orientation and R&D capability of technology-based SMEs, consisting of customer orientation, innovation orientation, and competitor orientation, on the success of new products/services. In addition, we want to analyze the influence of a company's product/service competitiveness on the success of new products/services. The survey was commissioned by a research company, and 382 valid copies were analyzed by conducting a survey to corporate members in the technical job-related industry. The questionnaire analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0 and Smart PLS 3.0.Customer orientation, innovation orientation, and competitor orientation were found to have a positive effect on product/service competitiveness. It can be said that market changes in product/service competitiveness, technology improvement capability, target market analysis, etc. meet the objectives of most research projects, such as the success of new products/services. In addition, product/service competitiveness was found to have a positive effect on the success of new products/services. It can be seen that R&D capability has a positive effect on the success of new products/services and plays an important role in business expansion of SMEs. From this analysis result, it was found that the organizational orientation and R&D capability of a company have a positive effect on the success of new products/services. Based on the results of this study, implications were presented on the factors that a company must have for the success of new products/services.

Masan port is a representative port of Kyungnam region, and proceeds to work port development for the future. However, Analytical research related to current competitiveness and strategies for the future of Masan port have been little studied since then. Thus, the aim of this paper is to analyze the current competitiveness level of Masan port. To achieve this abjective, evaluation model based on empirical data was established. And then FHP-based index model that calculate competitiveness level of port was adopted. To analysis competitiveness of Masan port, Data from shippers calling at Masan port were collected. The result of data analysis showed that current competitiveness level of Masan port was 63.

본 연구는 국내외를 막론하고 SI 기업의 R&D에 대한 학문적 연구가 거의 이루어지지 않은 상태에서, 국내 대형 SI 기업들이 World Class SI로 성장하는데 견인차가 되도록 최초로 SI 기업의 R&D 모델을 제시하고 있다. 현재 날로 치열해 지는 SI 시장환경에 비추어 볼 때 향후 국내 대형 SI 기업들간의 보다 치열한 경쟁은 물론이고 국내외에서 선진 IT 서비스 기업들과 경쟁이 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 국내 대형 SI 기업들이 선진 IT 서비스 기업과의 경쟁에서 살아 남으려면 핵심 경쟁력을 확보해야만 하며, 이에 대한 방안으로 연구개발의 강화를 제시한다. 즉, SI 기업은 R&D를 통해 빠르고 복잡하게 변화하는 IT 기술을 적시에 도입하여 실제 프로젝트에 적용하고, 기존의 기술 및 프로세스의 개선을 통해 생산성을 향상시키며, 궁극적으로는 새로운 서비스 모델 개발을 통해 가치를 창출하는 목적을 달성할 수 있다. 이를 위해 R&D는 부가가치 창출, 미래혁신 주도, 신기술의 검증/평가/확산 담당, 응용기술의 표준획득 및 특허취득, 프로세스와 품질의 일관성과 효율성을 확보하는 역할을 해야 한다. 이러한 R&D 역할을 효율적, 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 중앙 R&D와 사업부 R&D를 동시에 운영하는 Hybrid Organization을 제안하고 있다. 또한 국내 대형 SI 기업의 R&D 담당자들과 설문, 인터뷰를 통해 본 연구에서 제시한 모델의 현실 적용성을 살펴보고, 바람직한 R&D 방향성을 제시하고 있다.
