행복한 노후를 위한 첫 단계는 무엇일까? 노후 행복의 비결 중 하나는 바로 부부관계의 재정립이다. 연애, 신혼, 첫 아이를 낳았을 때 등 시기마다 부부관계는 달라진다. 하루라도 못 보면 죽을 것 같았던 부부도 어느 순간 서로 으르렁거리게 되기 십상. 노후에는 부부 간 서로의 역할을 재정립할 필요가 있다.

This study explores the present state of the National Archives of Korea (NAK) and the branch archives and proposes development programs to reestablish their roles. With regard to the NAK, I discussed five issues, and for the branch archives, I discussed three. The issues on NAK are as follows: 1) Is NAK the nation's record keeper?; 2) Does NAK promote the establishment of local archives?; 3) Does NAK supervise and oversee the records management of all public institutions?; 4) What is the raison $d^{\prime}{\hat{e}}tre$ and the vision of NAK?; and 5) Does NAK perform a simple administrative service? Meanwhile, the issues on the branch archives are as follows: 1) Is the branch archives a permanent records management institution?; 2) Are the names of the branch archives appropriate?; and 3) Are the branch archives simple document warehouses?

This study is a policy research conducted for the purpose of finding new roles for adoption agencies and suggesting future tasks for effective adoption practice in Korea. To achieve this goal, this study analyzed the characteristics of adoption practices and the roles of adoption agencies in four countries (U.K., Sweden, U.S.A. and Hong Kong) and conducted a survey of the staff members of adoption agencies in Korea. The survey questions included: (1) the real changes and problems they feel in the adoption field after the amendment to the 'Act on special cases concerning adoption' in 2012; (2) the prospects for change in the future; and (3) the new roles they expect in the changing context. Based on the review of foreign cases and the results of the survey, the future direction of adoption practice in Korea and the new roles and tasks of adoption agencies were suggested.

사립대학 구조조정 방안의 큰 틀은 시장수요에 대응한 교육의 질 관리에 초점을 두고 구조조정이 이루어져야 하며, 정부에서는 각종 법률로 정하고 있는 재정·세무상의 규제를 풀고 사립대학에 대한 국고지원을 확대하여야 하며, 각 대학에서는 시장의 논리에 입각하여 대학의 본질적 역할을 재정립해 가야 할 것이다.

Railway stations are functional buildings. Their primarily role is to help passengers or freights complete their trip safely, easily, comfortably, and to improve the railway operating system. However, some urban stations are lately taking the form of what is called a station complex, and some regional stations are being constructed together with local public facilities. Roles of railway station are changing. Therefore, meeting user, railway operator, local resident, and government needs, roles of railway station would include multi-functional complex, high quality terminal, community center.

공과대학혁신위원회가 지난 1월 14일 출범했다. 최근 10년간 공과대학은 SCI 논문 등 연구실적측면에서 많은 성장을 했으나, 이제는 창조경제를 이끌 실용적이고 질적인 성장을 추구할 시점이다. 공과대학혁신위원회는 공과대학이 실질적 부가가치를 만들어 내는 신기술과 창의적 인재의 공급원이 되도록 위상과 역할을 재정립하고 이론 위주 연구와 교육에서 벗어나 창조경제실현을 주도할 수 있는 전진기지로서의 역할과 성장을 돕기 위해 신설됐다. 그동안 공과대학의 양적 지표에 집중돼 있던 여러 가지 문제점 해결을 위해 위원회가 잘해낼 수 있을지 그 중심에 있는 이준식 공과대학혁신위원회 위원장(서울대 연구부총장)을 만나 앞으로의 포부를 들어봤다.
