This study has aimed at establishing of the new administration scheme related to the goal of police like the investigation division through analyses of differences on the role perception of female police officers. In a related matter, work characteristics include ranks, working areas, working priods and the dependent variables of the role perception of female police officers are composed of 3 items like task role, group maintenance role and individual role. As a result, the differences by ranks, working areas, working priods that were analyzed by using one-way ANOVA showed significant differences in the each dependent variables. The results showed that the female police officers whose ranks were higher, who had been employed longer, and whose working areas were places where the cases occurred a lot more showed great point in mean value not only on task role but also on group maintenance role. The result of the study suggests a direction to achieve the best efficacy of police duties such as a criminal investigation, the prevention of crime and presents an useful indication to redefine the role.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of mediator effect related to role-orientation of traditional newspaper editors in terms of role-cognition and role-orientation in aspects of real reportage attitude by classifying the newspaper editor's role-cognition with social stability, reform, check, on the other hand, role-orientation with reporter's intention, intention of actual fact, and reader's intention. The results were as follows: In terms of reporter's intention the research showed the fact that reporter's intentions was influenced by the role cognition of social stability and at the same time, it also made to reduce the attitude of real reportage. Compared with intention of actual fact and reader's intention, the intention of actual fact could be only influenced by the social stability, but it could not give any effectiveness to the attitude of real reportage, furthermore, the research showed the fact that reader's intention aroused some mediator effects which newspaper editor's role cognition gave rise to the attitude of real reportage much more strongly.

공원녹지가 군시내에서 수행하고 있는 역할에 대해 학자들은 크게 '주민을 위한 위락공간으로서의 역할' '도시구조를 이루는 한 요소로서의 역할' 그리고 '도시 생태계의 기반으로서의 역할'등 크게 세가지로 구분하고 있다. 본 연구는 대도시 주민들이 인식하고 있는 도시공원녹지의 역할을 그들의 이용과 가치관을 중심으로 설문조사에 기초한 결과의 일부이다. 조사에 의하면, 주민들은 대개 공원녹지를 그들의 위락공간을 위한 장소로서 인식하고 그 역할에 동의하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 최근, 도시·조경계획분야에서 크게 논의되고 있는 생태학적 개념에 근거한 도시공원녹지의 '도시내 자연'으로서의 역할에 대한 주민의 인식이 전문가들의 열의에 배해 많이 높지 않음을 보여 주었다. 그러나 이는 위락공간으로서 역할 다음으로 중요도가 인식되고 있는 만큼 도시내 자연으로서의 공원녹지 역할을 높이기 위해서 학자들 사이에 구체적인 논의와 실증적인 연구가 뒤따라야 할 뿐만 아니라 주민들의 의사와 합의가 있어야 할 것으로 생각된다. 한편 도시공원녹지의 역할에 대해서는 도시주민의 사회적인 변수 특히 성, 교육수준, 임금수준 등에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 도시공원녹지 계획시 이들 변수에 대한 고려가 있어야 할 것이다.

한국기혼 여교수의 가족 및 직업역할 수행과 그 효과 및 인식 본 연구는 한국의 중상 층 기혼 여교수들의 그들의 가정과 직장생활의 균형을 위한 복수역할 수행에 따른 역할 긴장도 와 역할 만족도를 조사하는 것과 한국 기혼 여교수들이 그들의 취업이 자신과 가족에게 어떤 영향을 미친다고 인식하고 있는지를 조사하는데 그 목적이 있으며, 기혼여교수들과 4년제 대학에 근무하는 남자교수들의 부인 및 한국과학 기술연구소의 연구원들의 부인인 전업주부들과 비교하여 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면 여교수들은 전업주부들과 비교하여 더욱 높은 역할 만족도와 긴장도를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 대부분의 여교수들은 자신의 취업이 자녀들과 가족들에게 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

A survey showed that the public perception of the shipping industry's overall image and economic role was relatively positive. The survey revealed that public perception was mixed with respect to the multifaceted role of the shipping industry. Based on the results of this survey, this paper proposes three approaches to improving the public perception of the shipping industry. The organization contact approach includes establishing shipping institutes for city people, holding various events targeted at the public, establishing a shipping memorial hall, developing a shipping-related culture and tourism, reinventing the image of the shipping industry through a shipping-culture movement, and creating new views of the shipping industry by conducting formal education. The goods and services contact approach includes building a brand image for shipping services, providing B2C services, utilizing the national image for the shipping industry, and participating in international cooperation projects. The text contact approach includes B2B advertising, advertisements focused on the national economic and multifaceted role of the shipping industry, package advertisements for the shipping industry and related industries, the Internet and high-technology media, government-initiated PR activities regarding the multifaceted role of the shipping industry, and funding for advertising the shipping industry.

The purpose of this study is to examine the students' and teachers' perception about the roles and qualifications of teacher librarians. For this purpose, data were collected through survey from students and teachers at secondary schools and the data were analyzed by semantic network analysis. The results of the research are as follows: First, students usually perceived the role of teacher librarians as 'library management', and teachers did as 'reading education'. Second, among the roles of teacher librarians, it was confirmed that students' and teachers' perceptions of 'information literacy instruction and library instruction' were very weak. Third, while the students' perception of the role of a teacher librarian as a 'teaching collaborator' such as 'teaching and learning support' and 'library assisted instruction and collaborative instruction' was weak, teachers recognized the role of teacher librarians as 'teaching collaborators'. Fourth, students and teachers perceived high levels of 'information service', which consists of 'book recommendation and guide activities'. Finally, it was investigated that 'professionalism' plays a central role in the students' and teachers' perception about the qualities of teacher librarians. These results can be used to establish the role of teacher librarians, develop response strategies for students and teachers, and improve their awareness.

This paper presents a sub-band feature extraction approach in which the feature extraction method in the individual frequency sub-bands is determined in terms of speech recognition accuracy. As in the multi-band paradigm, features are extracted independently in frequency sub-regions of the speech signal. Since the spectral shape is well structured in the low frequency region, the all pole model is effective for feature extraction. But, in the high frequency region, the nonparametric transform, discrete cosine transform is effective for the extraction of cepstrum. Using the sub-band specific feature extraction method, the linguistic information in the individual frequency sub-bands can be extracted effectively for automatic speech recognition. The validity of the proposed method is shown by comparing the results of speech recognition experiments for our method with those obtained using a full-band feature extraction method.

본 논문에서는 상황 인식 역할 기반 접근 제어에 기반한 유비쿼터스 환경 정책 기술 언어를 제시한다. 역할 기반 접근 제어는 권한을 사용자에게 부여하지 않고 역할에 부여함으로써 접근 제어를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서는 빈번하게 변화하는 사용자들의 일치 정보와 같은 동적인 상황을 고려해야 할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 동적으로 변화하는 상황을 고려하는 역할 기반 접근 제어 모델을 고안하고 이에 기반하여 정책 기술 언어를 설계하였다. 제안된 언어는 역할 기반 접근 제어의 장점을 활용하며, 동적인 상황 조건에 따라 사용자에게 역할을 할당하고 정적인 상황 조건을 이용하여 역할에 권한을 부여하는 방법을 기술함으로써 역할 기반 접근 제어에 기반한 상황 인식 유비쿼터스 환경의 특징을 효율적으로 구현할 수 있다.

Feature vectors for conventional speech recognition are usually extracted in full frequency band. Therefore, each sub-band contributes equally to final speech recognition results. In this paper, feature Teeters are extracted indepedently in each sub-band. The cepstral resolution of each sub-band feature is controlled for the optimal speech recognition. For this purpose, different dimension of each sub-band ceptral vectors are extracted based on the multi-band approach, which extracts feature vector independently for each sub-band. Speech recognition rates and clustering quality are suggested as the criteria for finding the optimal combination of sub-band Teeter dimension. In the connected digit recognition experiments using TIDIGITS database, the proposed method gave string accuracy of 99.125%, 99.775% percent correct, and 99.705% percent accuracy, which is 38%, 32% and 37% error rate reduction relative to baseline full-band feature vector, respectively.

This study aims to investigate the effect of perceived supervisor support(PSS) on employees' in-role and extra-role performance by examining the mediating role of job-based psychological ownership(JBPO). Data were collected from 269 employees from a variety of companies. Both regression analysis and structural equation modeling were used. Previous research has found a positive relationship between PSS and job performance. However, empirical analysis has not yet demonstrated PSS-performance relationships mediated through JBPO. Thus, this study investigated this mediation in predicting in-role and extra-role performance. In the current study, JBPO was found to fully mediate the relationship between PSS and in-role performance and to partially mediate the relationship between PSS and extra-role performance. Future discussions and practical implications are discussed.
