한국 제과역사의 산증인 (사)대한제과협회 조승환 고문이 미수가 가까운 나이에 한국 제과업계의 역사에 한 획을 긋는 큰일을 해냈다. 5년이라는 긴 세월 동안 우리나라는 물론 미국과 일본에 있는 자료까지 샅샅이 훑어서 100여 년의 한국 제과 역사가 고스란히 담겨있는 <한국 빵 과자문화사>를 펴내 후손들에게 우리나라 제과업계의 소중한 기록을 남길 수 있도록 한 것이다.

Although earthquake damage was negligible in Korea during the last a few decades, its historic records suggest that the peninsula have experienced severe earthquake damages throughout the history. The potential for disastrous earthquakes, therefore, should always be considered. Harbors handle 99.6% of imported and exported cargo in Korea. Thus, it is necessary to secure the safety of harbors against seismic events and to establish a support system of emergency measures. Although instrumental seismic data are favored for seismic hazard estimation, their history in the peninsula is limited only to the past 30 years, which does not represent the long-term seismic characteristics of the peninsula. We use historic earthquakes with magnitude greater than 5 to observe long-term regional seismic hazards. Results of historic earthquake records indicate relatively high seismic hazard at harbors in Pohang, Ulsan and Incheon. Analysis of instrumental earthquake records reveal relatively high seismic hazard for harbors located along the East coast including Okgye, Mukho, Donghae, Samcheok, Pohang, and Ulsan.

한강유역은 수도권 대부분을 포함하는 공간규모를 가지고 있으며, 사회·경제적 영향력으로 가장 중요하게 관리되고 있는 유역이다. 지속가능한 물환경관리를 위해서 통합물관리가 필요하며, 통합 물관리를 가능하게 하는 사회수문학적 프레임워크를 한강유역을 대상으로 구축할 필요가 있다. 사회수문학적 프레임워크는 역사사회수문학적 접근 방법에서 먼저 이해되어야 하며, 이를 위해 한강유역 물환경시스템의 역사사회수문학적 공진화 과정을 조사 및 분석할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한강유역 주요지점에 대한 수질측정망 자료를 활용하여 주요 수질인자(BOD, DO, T-N, T-P 등)들의 장기 변동 특성을 분석하고, 수질변화와 인간활동의 상호작용과 공진화 과정을 고찰하였다. 본 연구 결과는 과정사회수문학에 근거한 사회수문모형 구축을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

The seismic zone factor is evaluated according to the regional characteristics of seismic response based on the historical and instrumental earthquake data. This study aims at arranging regional seismic characteristics by the analysis of earthquake data recorded in the Korean Peninsula and providing the fundamental data to be used for establishing seismic zone factor considering the domestic seismic characteristics. This paper provides the seismic characteristics in the Korean Peninsula according to the historical and instrumental records and then presents fundamental data for establishing seismic zone factors in domestic region.

우리와 교류가 없던 세계 여러나라의 역사와 문화를, 현지체험을 바탕으로 깊이 있게 소개한 책들이 부쩍 눈에 띈다. 이들 책은 이제까지의 여행안내서와는 달리 그 나라의 다양한 역사와 문화적 배경을 다채롭게 안내해 지역연구의 기초작업으로도 귀중한 자료가 되고 있다.

부산광역시는 대한민국 바다의 관문이다. 인천 팔미도가 현존하는 최초의 등대임을 부인할만한 역사적 자료는 거의 없으나. 우리나라의 고지도를 살펴보면 그 이전 등대의 흔적들을 쉽사리 확인할 수 있다. 그리고 일제강점기 이전 대한제국의 역사는 팔미도 등대 빠른 시기에 부산항에 설치된 등대 존재를 강력히 나타내고 있다.

In Korea, the traces of Mongolian history and culture are often found in Korean life and customs. Under these perceptions, this study has attempted to develop the learning contents using the Mongolian historical and cultural heritages in Korea. For this, the perspective on Mongolia in Korean History and Social Studies textbooks and the exhibition of Mongolian cultural materials in a museum have been analyzed. In addition, this study has researched a plan to develop learning contents for exhibition and education using the Mongolian historical & cultural heritage and folklore materials in Korea and people's perspective on Mongolia in the ancient western maps as a way of understanding the historical and cultural heritage between Korea and Mongolia. In addition, a way of taking advantage of the Mongolian historical and cultural heritage in Korea from the view of world history has been proposed to share historical views and promote cultural exchanges between the two countries. Furthermore, the development of learning contents of the museum using the historical and cultural heritage between Korea and Mongolia could be grounds for humanistic studies from the view of understanding multiculture and characteristics of international culture.

2003년에, 충남 부여시에 건립 중인 백제역사민속박물관에 전시할 '백제사신선'에 대한 복원을 추진할 때, 백제의 해양 활동과 원양 해선에 관한 자료와 역사 고증 자료를 찾아 보았으나 설계나 조선 공작에 도움이 될 만한 자료를 국내에서는 구할 수가 없었다. 2001년 하절에 일본 신호상선대학을 방문하였을 때, 일본의 견당사선에 관한 자문을 상선학부의 송목철 명예교수와 정겸광행 교수에게 구하였던 바, [일본서기]와 회화 등에 일본의 원양해선인 견당사선에 관한 유익한 자료가 있다는 고견을 들었으며, 그 때 견당사선에 관한 참고 자료도 얻을 수 있었다. 그리고 일본의 원양 해선인 견당사선은 백제선식의 선박이라는 것을 여러 자료에서 발견하게 되었다. 이 논문에서는 일본의 견당사선의 실체를 추적하여 백제선의 선형과 선양을 도출하려 한다. OpenMP 프로그램의 수행 중에 발생하는 자료 경합과 같은 병행성 오류는 디버깅을 위하여 반드시 탐지되어야만 한다. 그러나 이를 탐지하는 것은 어려운 일이다. 접근사건의 발생 후 관계를 기반으로하는 경합 탐지 기법은 프로그램의 수행 중에 발생하는 스레드의 병행성 정보를 식별하기위한 레이블을 생성하고, 생성된 스레드의 레이블을 기반으로 공유변수에 접근하는 사건을 접근역사를 통해 감시함으로써 경합을 탐지한다. 이러한 경합 탐지의 방법에서 레이블 생성을 위한 NR 레이블링 기법은 병행성 정보생성 시에 지역자료 구조를 사용함으로써 병목현상이 발생하지 않으며, 접근역사에 저장하는 레이블의 크기가 상수 값을 갖는 공간적 효율성을 제공한다. 또한 부모스레드의 정보역사를 정렬된 리스트 형태로 가져 병행성 정보 비교 시에 이진탐색이 가능하므로 시간적 효율성을 가지는 우수한 기법이다. 그러나, NR 레이블링은 레이블의 생성시에 부모스레드의 정보역사를 유지하기 위해서 내포 병렬성의 깊이에 의존하는 시간적 비용이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 부모스레드의 정보역사 유지를 위해 상수적인 시간 및 공간적 복잡도를 갖도록 NR 레이블링 기법을 개선한다. 합성 프로그램을 이용하여 실험한 결과에서 개선된 기법은 최대 병렬성의 증가에 따라 레이블의 생성과 유지시 기존의 기법보다 평균 4.5배 빠르고, 레이블링을 위해 평균 3배 감소된 기억공간을 요구하며, 내포 병렬성에 의존적이지 않음을 보인다.
