굴삭기를 이용한 해체 장비용 원격 조종 장치 설계 (Design of a Remote Controller for Dismantling Processes Using Excavator)

  • Since the processes of dismantling are very dangerous, there have been many studies to develop remote operating devices using joystick. In this paper, in order to improve the operability of the dismantling equipment that is usually an excavator, a novel concept of tole-operated device is proposed. Operators who use this device with additional environmental sensing devices can work safely away from the dangerous sites. First, based on the concept design of the remote controller, its workspace is analyzed and the workspace mapping from the device to the excavator is explored. Second, after 7 steps of the excavating processes are defined, the kinematics which deals with the conversion from the 3 dimensional position information of the device to the joint variable information of the backhoe is included in this paper. Lastly, 3D graphical simulation of both remote controller and the backhoe will be shown. This new design of the remote control device tan be easily manufactured and gives the workers very convenient and transparent remote control capability.

  • In this paper, a closed-form formulation for inverse kinematics of robot manipulators with kinematic redundancy under the constrained environment has been derived using the Kuhn-Tucker condition, the extended Lagrange multiplier method and the working set method. The proposed algorithm satisfies the necessaryand sufficient conditions for optimization subject to equality and inequality constraints. In addition, computationally efficient kinematic control methods have been proposed using differential kinemetics and gradient projection mehtod. The effectiveness of the proposed methods has been demonstrated with a 4-dof planar robot, and then a 7-dof spatial robot as a practical application to the nozzle dam task in the Nuclear Power Plant.

  • Machine tool errors have to be characterized and predicted to improve machine tool accuracy. A real-time error compensation system has been developed based on volumetric error synthesis model which is composed of machine tool errors. This paper deals with new algorithm about verification of machine tool errors. This new algorithm uses a simplified volumetric error synthesis model. This simplified model is constructed with only main components among the error components of the machine. The main error components are analyzed by ball bar test of hemispherical helix. The novel measurement method using ball bar system has many advantages which are more efficient, easier to use than conventional measurement system.

  • This paper covers the technology developmental stage work for the automatic ammunition loading system mainly focusing on the controller design of the electro-hydranlic type direct drive multi-axis manipulator. Mathematical model of the plant derived and PIDM servo-controller structured. Comparative study between the analytical and experimental work has been carried out to help understand the response property of the direct dine multi-axis robot. In the direct drive robot, non-negligible amount of disturbance and load Induced dynamics variation are transmitted to the drive axis and nonlinearity is highly observed. Thereupon a robust controller Implementing time-delay control law is proposed, and computer simulation confirms the possibility for the time-delay control application against the unpredictable disturbance and load-Induced dynamics variation.

  • The intent of this paper is to describe a neural network structure called dynamic neural processor(DNP), and examine how it can be used in developing a learning scheme for computing robot inverse kinematic transformations. The architecture and learning algorithm of the proposed dynamic neural network structure, the DNP, are described. Computer simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed learning using the DNP.

  • 본 연구에서는 서비스 역할을 수행하는 6축 모듈형 매니퓰레이터 개발을 목표로 하며, 최종 기술 사양에 따른 설계를 진행하는 과정에서 기구의 섬세한 동작을 효율적으로 제어하기 위해 로봇 제어 소프트웨어의 오픈소스 환경인 ROS를 사용한다. 매니퓰레이터의 동작 설계를 ROS 기반에서 제어하기 위해 중요한 기본 환경을 구축하였으며, 특히 로봇 모델링을 위한 시각화를 위해 URDF파일에 해당 매니퓰레이터의 필수 파라미터값들을 지정하여 적용하였고, 전체 동작 시나리오에 맞춰 매니퓰레이터가 특정 자세를 취할 경우의 역기구학적인 해석과 그에 따른 경로를 생성하도록 매니퓰레이터의 라이브러리인 MoveIt을 활용하여 시각적으로 표현하고 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 또한, 설계한 ROS 환경 설계 방법을 바탕으로 MCU와의 통신을 통해 모터의 실시간 각도 값을 제어하고, 3D 깊이 카메라의 거리정보와 이미지 정보의 융합을 통해 로봇의 서비스 내용의 개선을 기대할 수 있다.

6축 아크 용접 로보트의 의사 역기구학적 동작 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pseudoinverse Kinematic Motion Control of 6-Axis Arc Welding Robot)

  • In robotic arc welding, the roll (rotation) of the torch about its direction vector does not have any effect on the welding operation. Thus we could use this redundant degree of greedom for the motion control of the robot manipulator. This paper presents an algorithm for the pseudo- inverse kinematic motion control of the 6-axis robot, which utilizes the above mentioned redunancy. The prototype welding operation and the tool path are also graphically simulated. Since the proposed algorithm requires only the position and normal vector of the weldine as an input data, it is useful for the CAD-based off-line programming of the arc welding robot. In addition, it also has the advantages of the redundant manipulator motion control, like singularity avoidance and collision free motion planning, when compared with the other motion control method based on the direct inverse kinematics.

기구학적 모델 기반 임업용 크레인 팁 제어방안에 관한 연구(1): RR 매니퓰레이터 (A Feasibility Study in Forestry Crane-Tip Control Based on Kinematics Model (1): The RR Manipulator)

  • 본 연구는 기계화 목재 생산 작업에 가장 많이 활용되는 크레인 작업의 효율성을 높이기 위하여 엔드이펙터를 직관적으로 수직 또는 수평 제어할 수 있는 크레인 팁 제어방법을 제안하고 제어성능을 확인하기 위해 수행되었다. 실험 변수에 따른 제어성능을 검증하고자 전동실린더를 이용하여 실험실 규모의 크레인을 제작하고, 크레인에 대한 순기구학/역기구학 분석을 통하여 현재 크레인 팁의 위치좌표와 각 목표점에서의 조인트 각도를 출력할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 경로점을 생성하여 제어하는 방법을 이용하였고, LBO(Lateral Boundary Offset)을 이용한 불감대 영역을 설정하도록 하였다. 뱅뱅제어(Bang-bang control)을 이용하여 적정 파라미터를 선정하였고, 경로점의 개수와 LBO 반경은 평균오차와 관계가 있었으며, 실린더의 속도는 소요시간과 관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 경로점의 개수가 증가, LBO 반경이 감소함에 따라 평균오차는 감소하였고, 실린더의 속도가 감소함에 따라 소요시간은 감소하였다. 비례제어를 이용하여 실린더의 속도가 매 제어주기마다 변경될 때에는 소요시간은 큰 폭으로 감소하였지만 실제 제어의 형상은 큰 범위에서 오버슈트와 언더슈트를 반복하며 제어가 이루어졌다. 따라서, 추가적으로 각각의 실린더의 속도를 상대적으로 변경할 수 있는 속도 게인을 적용하여 비례제어를 수행하였고, 10 mm 이내의 범위에서 제어가 이루어짐에 따라 20 ms의 제어주기에서 속도 게인이 적용된 비례제어만을 이용하여 크레인 팁 제어가 가능한 것으로 검증되었다.

구난로봇을 위한 전신 기구학 제어 연구 (A Study of Whole Body Kinematic Control for a Rescue Robot)

  • This paper introduces a Korean rescue robot and presents a whole body kinematic control strategy. The mission of the rescue robot is to move and lift patients or soldiers with impaired mobility in the battlefields, hospitals and hazardous environments. In order for a robot to rescue and assist humans, reliable mobility in various environments, large load carrying capacity, and dextrous manipulability are required. For these objects the robot has variable configuration mobile platform with tracks, dual arm manipulator, and two types of grippers. The electric actuators provide the strength to lift a wounded soldier up to 120 kg using whole body joints. To control the robot with multi degree of freedom, we need to synthesize complex whole-body behaviors, and to manage multiple task primitives systematically. We are to present a whole body kinematic control methodology, and demonstrate its effectiveness through numerical simulations.
