  • The aim of this study is to investigate the pattern of inbound and outbound tourism and their receipts and expenditures in Korea, and wishes to suggest a policy implication. The finding in this research indicates that inbound tourism is mainly influenced by a relative income, while the receipts are effected not only by a scale of tourism, relative price, relative income, but also by the exchange rate. Outbound tourism and the expenditures are tentatively determined by a set of information which is synthetically made up by an economic factors. To this end, it could be concluded that tourism policy should be elaborately established to take of the inbound tourism, and appropriately designed information networking system for tourism would be helpful to assist the outbound tourism.

  • We are living in big data. Specially, female consumers are the hottest issue. Female consumers have a great effected on consumer culture as comparing male consumers. Therefore, this study analysis characteristics of female consumers through case study and literature review. The summarized results of research are as follows. First, percentage of economically active population of unmarried female of 20s is high, so they actively spend lots of money on buying goods and so on. Second, they are ahead of the curve and follow entertainers. Third, domestic case studies(SD online buz marketing, C.S.I. Shinsegaemall project, Service center only for female consumers of Shinhan Card, Travel Service of Lotte Tour) and international case studies(Big data service of Target, ZARA, and Walmart) show that if we utilize big data, we can raise re-purchasing desire and analysis needs of female consumers and create new female consumers.

  • Sally Potter's movie, Orlando is a bold re-make of Virginia Woolf's classic novel, Orlando: A Biography, in which an English nobleman survives 400 years - as a man and then a woman. This paper focuses on a study of the film of Orlando in light of the feministic view. In Woolf's gender-bending, time-traveling novel, Orlando, Woolf probes the ideology of patriarchal society through an androgynous persona. Sally Potter's adroit revision of Woolf's novel not only duplicates Woolf's Orlando but it also catches Woolf's feminism by using cinematic expertise. The film is incredibly true to Woolf's spirit. The most explicit changes were structural so the storyline was simplified. Thus Orlando gives us a license to travel freely from a man to a woman. In short, Orlando is not about feminism but the unity and harmony of male and female.

  • Image-based rendering is an approach to generate realistic images in real-time without modeling explicit 3D geometry. Especially, owing to its simplicity, TIP(Tour Into the Picture) is preferred to constructing a 3D background scene. Because existing TIP methods have a limitation in that they lack geometrical information, we can not expect a accurate scene if the viewpoint is far from the origin of the TIP. In this paper, we propose the method of constructing a virtual environment of a wide area by blending multiple TIP images. Firstly, we construct multiple TIP models of the virtual environment. Then we interpolate foreground and background objects respectively, to generate a smooth navigation image. The method proposed here can be applied to various industry applications, such as computer game, 3D car navigation, and so on.

  • In the information-oriented society of 21st century, the added value of creativity has never been so important to need any further discussion. This research investigates an implication of metonymic activities in early childhood Convergence arts education as a basis of the creative education by analyzing EduDrama, the program which helps children acquire creativity through metonymic activities. To this end, this research proposes a desirable way of early childhood arts education by organizing limited situation of early childhood education in Korea with domestic and foreign cases applying metonymic activities. Despite actively conducted studies on arts education led by existing arts management field in Korea, arts education research for early childhood is still not entirely satisfactory. Therefore, this research makes clear the value of arts education using metonymic activities provided during early childhood on the assumption that the added value of our life depends on the creative human resource of 21st century.

  • The fourth industrial revolution introduced at world economic forum in 2016 has had huge effects on tourism industries as well as the change of core technologies in ICT such as big data, IoT, etc, This paper proposes the methods to propel tourism of Yoesu city through big data analysis and questionnaires. Sensitive words and positive-negative trend are extracted by Social Metrics and the keywords for Yeosu tour trends are extracted and analyzed by Naver datalab, and the results are visualized by R language. And frequency, difference, factor, covariance and regression analysis in SPSS are executed for the questionnaires for 493 visitors who traveled in Yeosu city. Sentiment analysis for Yeosu tour and maritime cable car shows that positive effect is much more than negative one. The analyses for questionnaires in SPSS show that Yeosu area is statistically significant to tour satisfaction index and tour revitalization for Yeosu, and favorite sightseeing places and searching electronic devices for age groups are different. The sightseeing places such as a maritime park with soft contents that give joyfulness and healing to tourists are highly attracted in both the big data and questionnaires analysis.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of brand evidence on brand value, brand trust, brand attitude and word of mouth intention. To achieve the purpose of the study, a research model and hypothesis were established based on previous studies, and survey was conducted on 222 passengers who had used the airline. As a result of the analysis, sub-factors of airline brand evidence had a positive impact on brand value. Except for employee services, perceived prices, core services, brand names, and brand logo had a positive impact on brand value. Brand value had a significant positive effect on brand trust and brand attitude. It was also found that brand trust had a significant influence on brand attitude. This study examined the extended range by adding the brand logo as a sub-factor of brand evidence, and it is considered necessary to study including brand emotion in next study.

  • Historically, government has facilitated logistics by building the airports, the seaports, the rail and transit lines, subsidized their operations where necessary, and established the basic laws and regulations pursuant to which the industry serves the public. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Korean government began to prepare the basic laws of logistics and nowadays it has tried to refine national logistics laws to reflect contemporary industry conditions and evolving ideological attitudes. The policy objectives governing logistics regulation have changed significantly since 2000. This article traces the current status of the Korean logistics laws which regulate one of the nation's most important industries and suggests certain amendment of current laws.

  • Given a starting point, destination point and various Points Of Interest (POIs), which contain a full or partial order, for a user to visit we wish to create, a sequenced route from the starting point to the destination point that includes one member of each POI type in a particular order. This paper proposes a method for finding the approximate shortest route between the start point, destination point and one member of each POI type. There are currently two algorithms that perform this task but they both have weaknesses. One of the algorithms only considers the distance between the visited POI (or starting point) and POI to visit next. The other algorithm chooses candidate points near the straight-line distance between the start point and destination but does not consider the order of visits on the corresponding network path. This paper outlines an algorithm that chooses the candidate points that are nearer to the network path between the start point and destination using network search. The algorithm looks for routes using the candidate points and finds the approximate shortest route by assigning an adaptive priority to the route that visits more POIs in a short amount of time.
