This study analyzed the bicycle traffic patterns and identified the influence factors for each traffic purpose using the household traffic conditions survey for Seoul. The results are summarized as follows. First, as a result of surveying the bicycle traffic ratios according to the administrative dongs, there was a difference of 14.2% by region. Second, various personal characteristic variables, such as age, gender, income, occupation, and housing type, affect the bicycle mode choice, and bicycle passage increases when using facilities in residential areas. Third, among the neighborhood environments, the bicycle traffic for commuting purposes appeared to increase more in the areas of higher land use mix and lower crime rates. In addition, the bicycle road density and the inclination of the area commonly affect bicycle travel for commuting, shopping, exercising, and leisure.

In this paper, we propose a system to users which recommends suitable park using linguistic objects by rule-based inference engine which is made with Prolog. According to the function of city park, which provides positive elements to people such as social, psychological, environmental, and physical, Seoul city park is classified into 6 categories. The classified parks are recommended to users based on the rule based expert system. Rule-based object of park recommendation designs nine linguistic objects based on activity, multi-purposiveness, accessibility, and usage of time. This assigns allowed value accordingly. Generated rules by using these values are fired by user's preference, and infer recommended park. Information on preferences is obtained by way of dialogue, in which the user is asked questions about the three elements that are the criteria for choosing a park. As a result, through the park recommendation system, we intend to increase the user's satisfaction of using park and leisure activities.

The impacts of electric service interruption to customers depend on customer and interruption characteristics. Customer characteristics include demographic aspects (residential type, and number of household members) and power supply types whereas interruption characteristics include frequency, duration, time, and day of interruption. Accordingly evaluation of these customer interruption costs is very complicated and subjective. For residential customers, customer survey method seems most appropriate because interruption impact to residential customers is intangible. In other. words, the value of housework or lost leisure due to interruption is individual. Accordingly, this paper selected the customer survey method to assess the interruption costs for residential customers.

스마트폰이 일상생활에 보급되면서 모바일로 제작된 콘텐츠들의 연구 개발이 확산되고 있다. 학습, 여가, 운동 등 여러 분야에서 스마트폰으로 개발된 어플리케이션은 사용자로 하여금 스트레스를 줄여주고 편리함을 제공하고 있다. 본 논문은 스마트폰 Camera와 Video View를 이용하여 사용자와 영상 속안의 배우들과 호흡할 수 있는 모바일 1인칭 연기 시뮬레이션 어플리케이션을 설계하고 이를 구현하였다. 스마트폰의 영상에서 배우의 1인칭 모습이 출력되고 사용자가 선택한 명장면을 함께 진행한다. 본 연구를 통해 배우와 사용자 사이의 친밀감을 극대화시키고 잊고 있었던 명장면을 재조명할 수 있는 효과를 만들어 일상생활에서 느끼는 스트레스를 조금이나마 줄여줄 수 있기를 기대한다.

Outdoor spaces are used for recreation, rest area, and night activities of residents. By these tendency, outdoor space is recognized as a very important space in residental areas. However, outdoor space is frequently used at night but lighting plan for these spaces is not suited for the selection of luminairce, arrangement of luminaires and planing of illuminance. From this point of view, this paper investigated the essence of light in outdoor space, analyzed different outdoor luminous environment and performed simulations. This paper finally suggested recommended level of illuminance and lighting plan of such spaces.

This research is executed to find out the boundary of use by the conscious of local residents and to get the basic materials for the distribution of outdoor leisure-facilities. The map of use distribution of the outdoor leisure-facilities in a neighbourhood unit is made by applying a concept of the probabilistic contour line based on the choice model of outdoer leisure-facilities in the city of Seoul, Taegu an\ulcorner Kwangju. The results are listed as follows. 1) The use of outdoor leisure-facilities is influenced on the accessibility by the physical obstacles of streets and hills, etc. 2) The limitation of uses applying the model of choice probability are different according to the accessibility, the percentage of utilities and the arriving range based on the questionnaires which are surveyed the choice of outdoor leisure facilities of the residents of Seoul, Taegu and Kwangju. 3) The distribution of outdoor leisure facilities is decided by the limitation of use with the conscious of local residents.

The leisure demands and the interests for the quality of urban residents have been increased, but the leisure space is absolutely deficient. In the leisure site planning, the concrete understanding about people's leisure site choice is the most important thing, not only for the aspect of the leisure demands reception and the improvement of the life quality but also the aspect of the efficiency of land use. The purposes of this study are firstly, to find out prefered leisure sites, secondly, to establish the choice models of the each prefered leisure site to be substituted for existing indiscriminating leisure space planning. And for the choice model establishment, we used Logit Model, which has been used in the Traffic, the Toursim, the Economics fields. We extract people's perfered leisure sites in Seoul through 1st and 2nd survey, those are a park, a pocket park, a play hall, a recreation center(sport center), a hobby facility, a library. The established choice model for each prefered site can predict people's choice about 70 percents correctly. It indicates that the Logit model is useful for the explanation about the choice of residents in the urban area. Specially, the main affect factors to the choice of each prefered leisure site are different. It means that different consideration factors or different standards are needed for each leisure site planning.

This study investigated the mate selection preferences of single female teachers by investigating the desired traits in socioeconomic, physical attractions, psychological traits and family roles of their prospected marital partner, in order to explore the current trends in homogamous marriage. A questionnaire was distributed to 295 unmarried female teachers selected by convenience sampling from the various cities. The teachers pursued homogeneity in age, educational attainment, religion, and occupation while they preferred partners with higher income level. In terms of physical assets, the attraction that the teachers felt towards the partner was the most important physical appearances. The respondents preferred partners who are masculine and an androgynous partner. The teachers held high expectations towards their future spouses in that they desired to share the roles of emotional, financial support, child care and kin keeping. A partner who shared modern sex role attitudes was preferred over someone who held traditional one. The pursuit for overall homogeneity reflects that the teachers seek for equality in their relationships with prospected marital partners by exchanging similar characteristic.

Along with economic growth which affects to the overall increase in income level within society, more permissible leisure time, and change in values of the life style directly affected to the more demand of performance arts. The theaters where the performance contents are actually accomplished have been built with various objectives and now there are 232 of performing art theaters are in operation at various locations over the country. The purpose of this research is to identify behavioral factors regarding how the preferable choice were made from the various type of the performance arts, study for the correlation on post behavior customer based on the survey conducted at Sori Art Center. As a result of this research, there were strong correlation were identified between how the preferable choice were made among the various type of performance and Customer's intend of returning visit /perceivd value. In addition to the aforementioned result, the survey result shows that the excellence of the facility, hospitality level of the staffs, and additional customer services were the meaningful positive factors and user convenience/subsidiary facilities were negative factors to the overall service quality control activities. The research reveals meaningful correlations between quality of the customer service factors and how the preferable choice were made by customer that lead to strategic plan which will increase competitiveness of the Sori Art Center. Extensive research for the Sori Art Center which represents cultural power of the local community would be exemplary case not only for the art centers in metropolitan area but also other local areas within the country.

Despite numerous studies, research on ginseng in aspect of an economic and business perspective are insufficient. Recently, research to reveal the economic cause of ginseng products purchase is drawing attention. The purpose of this study is to analyze empirically the factors of ginseng products purchase by international consumers from a microeconomic perspective. Using the survey data, we empirically investigate the determinants of ginseng products purchase by international consumers visiting Korea. We use a multinomial logistic model to find the determinants that influence the purchase of ginseng products. This study finds the followings. First, the economic factor is an important determinant of ginseng products purchase. The average daily expenditure has a greater impact on ginseng products purchase than household income does. Even though the average daily expenditure is high, they tend to buy less ginseng products when they prefer other products. Second, demographically, gender and age are also important determinants of ginseng products purchase. It has been found that elderly male consumers are more likely to buy ginseng products. Third, international consumers for leisure purposes have a higher probability of buying ginseng products than tourism consumers for other purposes do. Finally, destination attributes such as security (safety), ease of use of mobile/Internet, and ease of finding directions are also important factors affecting ginseng products purchase. In addition, it is found that the convenience of using the mobile/Internet, the ease of finding directions, and the convenience of shopping increase the probability of buying ginseng products by international consumers. This study is meaningful in that it explored the determinants of ginseng products purchase by analyzing individual consumers' ginseng products choices.
