Design of paraleel adder with carry look-ahead using current-mode CMOS Multivalued Logic (전류 모드 CMOS MVL을 이용한 CLA 방식의 병렬 가산기 설계)

  • This paper proposed the design methodology of the 8 bit binary parallel adder with carry book-ahead scheme via current-mode CMOS multivalued logic and simulated the proposed adder under $5{\mu}m$ standard IC process technology. The threshold conditions of $G_K$ and $P_K$ which are needed for m-valued parallel adder with CLA are evaluated and adopted for quaternary logic. The design of quaternary CMOS logic circuits, encoder, decoder, mod-4 adder, $G_K$ and $P_K$ detecting circuit and current-voltage converter is proposed and is simulated to prove the operations. These circuits are necessary for binary arithmetic using multivalued logic. By comparing with the conventional binary adder and the CCD-MVL adder, We show that the proposed adder cab be designed one look-ahead carry generator with 1-level structure under standard CMOS technology and confirm the usefulness of the proposed adder.

  • 박형초음파모터의 구조는 그림 1(a) 와 같이 크로스형태의 앓은 스테이터에 윗면과 아랫면에 각각 8 개의 압전세라믹이 부착된 형태이다. 압전세라믹의 분극방향은 로터와 접촉하는 스테이터의 A, B, C, D 네 개의 타점에서 순차적인 타원변위가 생성되도록 결정된다. 유한요소해석프로그램인 ATILA 5.2.4를 사용하여 최적설계를 한 결과 폭 3[mm], 길이 18[mm], 두께 1.8[mm], Brass 재질, Mid surface clamp 조건에서 입력전압 18[Vrms] 일 때 0.3[${\mu}m$]의 변위를 보였다. 최적설계된 모델을 제작하였고, 정확한 실험결과를 얻기 위해서 푸쉬풀게이지, x-y스테이지, rpm 메타, 토크게이지를 이용하여 실험테이블을 구성하였다. 그림 1(b) 는 마이크로컨트롤러를 이용한 구동 드라이버를 보여준다. 한 주기에서 1/4분주의 순차적인 네 개의 구형파를 생성하고, 이를 push-pull회로를 동하여 90도의 위상차가 나는 정현파를 생성하여 초음파 모터의 구동전원으로 사용한다. 엔코더와 AD 컨버터를 이용하여 정속도 운전을 위한 피드백 제어가 된다. 제안된 구동드라이버를 이용하여 측정한 결과, 구동 주파수 88.6[kHz], 입력전압 [40Vrms], preload 0.2 [N]에서 130 [rmp] 의 속도와 25 [gfcm] 의 토크특성을 보였다. 압력전압을 증가시킬수록 속도는 선형적인 증가를 보였고, 토크는 이와 반대로 감소하는 특성을 보였다. 피드백 제어회로가 없는 경우에는 preload 변화에 따른 극심한 속도 변화를 보였고, 피드백 제어를 하였을 경우에는 0.2~0.4[N]의 범위에서 정속도 운전이 가능함을 확인하였다. 기존의 주파수발생기와 파워 엠프를 이용한 구동장비와의 특성비교에서도 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 장시간의 운전에도 안정적인 구동이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • Since the average speed calculated with encoder pulses inevitably has time delay, the control performance as well as the system stability is deteriorated. especially at the low speed region. Additionally, the distorted inverter output voltage due to the dead time effects and the forward voltage drops of the VSI (Voltage Source Inverter) causes torque ripples and their effects are more severe at the low speed operation of an induction motor. In this paper, an accurate speed estimation method using Kalman Filter Algorithm is presented to improve the performance of an induction motor speed control with a low precision encoder at low speed legion. The dead time effects and the forward voltage drops of the VSI are feedforwardly compensated to produce an exact inverter output voltage.

  • Generally an operator would take notice at putting a patient under anesthesia. If the operation is executed in mistake, the patient is exposed to danger. The object of this Paper is that a system is developed for an accuracy of system and a convenience of user interface to prevent an operation of several elements of risk by mistake. The part of electrical system particularly is made for convenience of a manipulation using electrical switch and encoder. A real-time monitoring system is developed for an airway pressure and a gas concentration of carbon dioxide of patient using graphic LCD(liquid crystal display). Moreover, this flow control system could be developed control with accuracy by feedback control method. This is implemented using flow control valve and flow sensor. The implemented system gives convenience and precision of a manipulation of variable value using developed technique. This system shows guaranteed stabilization and confidence of anesthesia ventilator by notifying us that patient's state and information in case of being out of alarm range of variable value.

  • Malicious codes cause damage to equipments while avoiding detection programs(vaccines). The reason why it is difficult to detect such these new malwares using the existing vaccines is that they use "signature-based" detection techniques. these techniques effectively detect already known malicious codes, however, they have problems about detecting new malicious codes. Therefore, most of vaccines have recognized these drawbacks and additionally make use of "heuristic" techniques. This paper proposes a technology to detecting unknown malicious code using deep learning. In addition, detecting malware skill using Supervisor Learning approach has a clear limitation. This is because, there are countless files that can be run on the devices. Thus, this paper utilizes Stacked Convolution AutoEncoder(SCAE) known as Semi-Supervisor Learning. To be specific, byte information of file was extracted, imaging was carried out, and these images were learned to model. Finally, Accuracy of 98.84% was achieved as a result of inferring unlearned malicious and non-malicious codes to the model.

Analysis of Sensor Fault Effect in Induction Motor Drives (유도전동기 드라이브 시스템에서 센서 고장효과 분석)

  • High performance induction motor drives are driven by two advanced control methods: vector control and direct torque control (DTC). In order to apply the control methods to the speed/position control systems, the informations on rotor speed and rotor or stator flux are required. The speed is measured by encoder, and the rotor or stator flux is estimated by using the motor parameters and measured currents. The control input generated on the basis of the information that is provided by abnormal sensors should be far from the desired value and deteriorates the overall control perfonnance. In this paper, the effects of sensor faults on the motor variables and the control performance of induction motor drives are analyzed by both theoretical approach and simulation study. The presented analysis results could be utilized for the purpose of developing a fault detection and isolation scheme in induction motor drives.

The Position Sensorless Control of SRG using the Instantaneous Flux (순시자속을 이용한 위치센서 없는 SRG의 운전)

  • In this paper, the instantaneous flux Is applied to control the position of the SRG (Switched Reluctance Generator) without position sensor. The position information of the rotor is required in the drive of SRG. These data are generally obtained by a shaft encoder or resolver. In some cases, the EMI(Electro Magnetic Interference), vibration, thermal, and humidity environments may cause the difficulties in maintaining the satisfactory performance for the position detection. Therefore, the elimination of the position and speed sensor is needed. In this paper, a new method for the position estimation of the SRG is proposed. The estimation of the flux is calculated by using the measured voltage and current. The rotor position gets from the flux profile. The output voltage is also controlled constantly by PR control algorithm. These methods are verified by computer simulations md experiments using DSP. Experimental results certificate that the proposed method is able to control the SRG stable, and keep the output voltage constant in spite of changing of the load.

  • A campus guide robot was developed that can autonomously guide people through a university campus. The robot is able to evaluate its location using Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) and Dead-Reckoning using the encoders mounted on its wheels. The robot can navigate autonomously along a guide route that is set in advance. A new position-based guidance approach was suggested. Unlike the conventional method of setting the guide sequence in advance, the robot acquires guidance by judging whether there is guide information corresponding to its current position. The robot searches guide information from the guide database while it moves along the guide path autonomously. If there is any guide information available around the location of the robot, then it performs guide functions. We also suggested an effective guide scenario that can maximize the interest of people. The performance of the robot was tested through sets of experiments in a true campus environment.

  • In this study, it is intended to provide a slip detector is an important function in the research on the slip control can be addressed uncontrollably path withdrawal might during driving of the power wheelchair, slip phenomenon occurs. By detecting and electric wheelchairs, the state of the motor during running, the detection of the slip, slip detection information calculated using an encoder that is connected to the left and right motor with six-axis IMU sensor for the electric wheelchair using an algorithm to calculate the slip ratio. Slip rate calculated in this way is used as control variable for improving the safety of the electric wheelchair. It was confirmed from the slip phenomenon of the path the proposed experiments slim detector proposed in this study. The maximum slip ratio detection zone during the experiment, can occur during turning of the electric wheelchair has been confirmed.

  • This paper presents an implementation of a smooth path planning method considering physical limits on a real time operating system for a two-wheel mobile robot. A Bezier curve is utilized to make a smooth path considering a robot's position and direction angle through the defined path. A convolution operator is used to generate the center velocity trajectory to travel the distance of the planned path while satisfying the physical limits. The joint space velocity is computed to drive the two-wheel mobile robot from the center velocity. Trajectory planning, velocity command according to the planned trajectory, and monitoring of encoder data are implemented with a multi-tasking system. And the synchronization of tasks is performed with a real-time mechanism of Event Flag. A real time system with multi-tasks is implemented and the result is compared with a non-real-time system in terms of path tracking to the designed path. The result shows the usefulness of a real-time multi-tasking system to the control system which requires real-time features.
