Ontologies are formal theories that are suitable for implementing the semantic web. which is a new technology that attempts to achieve effective retrieval, integration, and reuse of web resources. Ontologies provide a way of sharing and reusing knowledge among people and heterogeneous applications systems. The role of ontologies is that of making explicit specified conceptualizations. In this context, domain and generic ontologies can be shared, reused, and integrated in the analysis and design stage of information and knowledge systems. This study aims to design an ontology for international organizations. and build an Internet web retrieval system based on the proposed ontology. and finally conduct an experiment to compare the system performance of the proposed system with that of internet search engines focusing relevance and searching time. This study found that average relevance of ontology-based searching and Internet search engines are 4.53 and 2.51, and average searching time of ontology-based searching and Internet search engines are 1.96 minutes and 4.74 minutes.

In this study, the steady state performance analysis program was developed for a turboprop engine, and its performance was analyzed at uninstalled and installed conditions. For the purpose of evaluation the developed program was compared with the performance data provided by the engine manufacturer and analysis results of GASTURB8.0 program. It was confirmed that the developed program was reliable because the results by the developed program were well agreed with those by GASTURB8.0 within %%. The linear and non-linear GPA(Gas Path Analysis) programs for performance diagnotics were developed, and selection of optimal measurement variables was studied. Furthermore, in order to investigate effects of the number and the kind of measurement variables, the linear and non-linear GPAs were analyzed with various measurement set. If the measurement parameters were properly selected, the reliable and economic faults detection might be possible even thought the small number of measuring parameters were used.

In web search engines, there are two main methods: directory searching and keyword searching. Keyword searching shows high recall rate but tends to come up with too many search results to find which users want to see the pages. Directory searching has also a difficulty to find the pages that users want in case of selecting improper category without knowing the exact category, that is, it shows high precision rates but low recall rates. We designed and implemented a new web search engine to resolve the problems of directory search method. It regards a category as a fuzzy set which contains keywords and calculate the degree of inclusion between categories. The merit of this method is to enhance the recall rate of directory searching by expanding subcategories on the basis of similarity.

본 고에서는 공학분야 중에서도 그 응용범위가 가장 광범위하다고 할 수 있는 기계공학분야의 이용자에게 수준 높은 웹 정보자원을 효율적으로 제공하기 위하여 검색엔진을 통하여 자동 수집된 웹 정보자원을 기계공학분야 주제전문가의 평가를 통해 핵심정보를 선정하고 이를 더블린코어 메타데이터를 응용한 베타데이터 요소에 따라 조직하여 웹 상의 검색 인터페이스에 의해 이용될 수 있도록 주제 게이트웨이 시스템을 설계하였다. 정보자원의 검색방법으로는 키워드 검색과 주제분류체계에 따른 브라우징 검색 등 두 가지 방법을 이용하였다.

소프트웨어 프로세스 모형은 실세계 소프트웨어 프로세스의 개념적인 표현이다. 소프트웨어 프로세스 모형들은 프로세스 프로그래밍 언어를 통해 추상화됨으로써 모형화 될 수 있으며, 프로세스 모형들을 자동으로 수행(enactment)하고, 이미 수행된 프로세스 모형들을 체계적으로 관리하는 수행지원시스템을 통해서 소프트웨어 생산물의 질적인 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 프로세스의 수행 중에 발생할 수 있는 프로세스의 feedback을 지원하는 SimFlex 프로세스 프로그래밍 언어의 확장된 언어구조와 프로세스 수행지원 시스템인 SEED 엔진에서의 효과적인 feedback 지원 방법에 대하여 설명한다.

통신대역폭 거래(Bandwidth Trading, BT)는 국제적으로 1 조 달러 이상의 잠재적 시장을 보유한 사업 분야로, 특히 통신사업자에게는 비용절감과 새로운 수익창출의 기회를 제공한다. 그러나 아직까지 BT 에 대한 체계적인 연구는 국내/외를 막론하고 초기단계에 있다. 본 논문은 먼저 차세대 All-IP 인프라 환경에서 통신대역폭이 상품화되는 경향을 살펴본다. 또한 BT 허브(exchange hub) 역할을 할 제 3자 기반의 BTS(BT System)을 제안한다. 마지막으로 제안된 BTS 환경에서 통신사업자의 수입을 극대화하는 BTE(BT Engine)을, Markov 의사결정모형을 적용하여 개발한다.

최근 LNG 선박의 발주량이 급증함에 따라 LNG 선에 승무할 인력의 심각한 부족이 예상되고 있다. 이러한 LNG 선박에 승무할 인력 특히 고급 사관의 부족은 선박 자체의 안전뿐 아니라 궁극적으로는 LNG 수송체계의 안전에도 큰 영향을 미치게 될 것이다. 이 발표에서는 현재 전세계 상선대의 현황에서 출발하여, 최근 LNG 선박의 발주 현황, LNG 선박에 적용되는 최신 기술 및 엔진 등에 대하여 살펴 본 후에 전세계 LNG 선박 수주 잔량을 근거로 하여 필요 인력을 예측해 본다.

본 연구에서는 무부하상태의 기관회전에 따른 차체진동특성을 해석하기 위한 모델로서 차체질량계를-선형적 특성을 갖는 스프링 및 함쇠기(shock absorber)로 연결 된-기관계와 현가질량계로 분리하고 국내상샌의 승용차를 대상으로 하여 10자유속계의 동력학적 모델을 구성한다.

현재 위성통신망의 활용도가 증가하고 있으며 그 의존도가 높아지고 있다. 그러나 위성통신망은 동보성, 광역성의 특성상 보안상의 취약점을 내포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 위성통신망이 보안 위협요소를 분석하여 이에 필요한 보안기능 요구사항을 도출하며, 안전한 위성통신망 체계를 위해 통합 정보보호 엔진을 활용한 보안 프레임워크를 제시한다.

현재까지 KISTI가 그 존재가치를 부여받고, 성장할 수 있었던 이유는 KRISTAL-ll에서부터 KRISTAL-2000에 이르는 검색엔진을 보유하여 정보전달 및 유통체계를 선도해낼 수 있었기 때문이다. 선진국의 검색시스템과 경쟁력이 잇는 강력한 시스템을 보유하면 자동적으로 KISTI의 역할과 위상이 부각될 것이다. 이와 동시에 소스공개 정책을 통해 국내외 프로그래머들이 소프트웨어를 발전시키고 개량시켜서 누구나 공유할 수 있는 정책을 펴나가면 KISTI는 그야 말로 정보유통의 중심축에서 더욱더 그 힘을 발휘하지 않을까 생각한다. 일본 속담에 호주머니에 송곳을 가지고 있으면 내가 송곳을 가지고 있다고 말하지 않아도 남들은 호주머니에 무엇이 있는지 알 수 있다고 했듯이 KISTI가 강력한 검색시스템을 가지고 있으면 자연히 모든 정보는 KISTI로 흘러 들어오지 않을까 생각된다.
