에어로빅운동이 비만여대생의 신체조성, 심폐기능, 혈청지질 및 항산화물질에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Aerobic Exercise on Body Composition, Cardiopulmonary Function, Serum Lipid and Antioxidants of Obese College Female Students)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of aerobic exercise on body composition, cardiopulmonary function, serum lipid level and antioxidants of obese and normal college female students. The subject group was made up of 13 normal students (below 30% body fat ratio) and 12 obese students (above 30% body fat ratio). After a pretest, the subjects were given an 8-week aerobic program. Then the subjects were given a posttest and analyzed of body composition, serum lipid level, antioxidants and cardiopulmonary function after the 6th and the 8th week of the program. The program schedule was made up of 4 days per week, 60 minutes per day. Test includes B.W., subscapular and triceps subcutaneous fat thickness, change of respiratory gas, and two blood sampling before treadmill exercise and post all out state, which analyzed serum lipid and antioxidants. The subjects performed treadmill exercise starting with 4km/hr of walking and then gradually increase the speed of 1km/hr per minute until all out state. The obtained data were analyzed using SAS program. The statistical methods employed here were one-way ANOVA with repeated measure, Duncan Multiple range test, paired-t test and t-test. The test results and conclusion of this research were as follows. 1. The effects of aerobic exercise on body composition were as follows ; Percent body fat was significantly reduced 6 weeks after the program and lean body mass was significantly increased 8 weeks after the program in both groups(obese group: F=3.44 P=.044, normal group: F=3.30 P=.048). subscapular skinfold of the obese group showed a remarkable decrease after the 6th week(F=4.33 P=.021) triceps skinfold of the normal group showed a remarkable decrease after the 6th and the 8th week(F=4.55 P=.017) compared with readings before the aerobic program, the aerobic program made a bigger difference concerning body fat, lean body mass, subscapular skinfold in the obese group than in the normal group(t=2.41 P=.024, t=2.40 p=.025, t=2.43 p=.028). 2. The effects of aerobic exercise on cardiopulmonary function were as follows ; Maximal $O_2$ uptake/kg was significantly increased 6 weeks after the program in the obese group(F=3.20 P=.054), but not much difference was observed in the normal group. Maximal pulse rate was significantly reduced in both groups after 6 weeks of the program(obese group: F=2.77 P=.087, normal group: F=7.17 P=.001). 3. The effects of aerobic exercise on serum lipid level were as follows ; In a resting period, total cholesterol, Triglyceride, and LDL-cholesterol were slightly higher in the obese group than in the normal group, but HDL-cholesterol was higher in the normal group. But, with the aerobic program, total-cholesterol, Triglyceride, LDL-cholesterol were reduced gradually and HDL-choleterol got increased in both groups, but not much change was noticed in the normal group. However, in the obese group, serum HDL-cholesterol level got increased significantly(F=5.12 P=.012). 4. The effects of aerobic exercise in serum antioxidants were as follows ; In a resting period, the obese group's serum Free Radical and GSSG content were higher than the normal group's and the normal group's serum GSH content was higher than the obese group's. After 6 weeks of the aerobic program, Free Radical was reduced significantly in both groups(obese group: F=13.87 P=.000, normal group: F=18.60 P=.000) In the obese group, 8 weeks after the program, GSH was increased significantly(F=13.78, P=.000). In the normal group, 6 weeks after the program, GSH was reduced but increased again after 8 weeks(F=6.07 P=.005). Plasma GSSG was significantly increased after 8 weeks of exercise in both groups(obese group: F=19.75 P=.000, normal group: F=22.42 P=.000,) Compared with readings before the aerobic program, the aerobic program made a bigger difference serum GSH in the normal group than in the obese group(t=3.37 p=.003). As this result shows, it is known that the regular aerobic exercise improves cardiopulmonary function, body composition, serum lipid effectively and through the serum Free Radical reduction and antioxidant system activation, oxidant stress was suppressed. This effect was higher in the obese group than in the normal one. At least 6weeks exercise period need for improvement of body composition, cardiopulmonary function and activation of antioxidant system. This result suggest that improvement of serum lipid profile was needed longer than 8weeks exercise period.

성인병의 예방과 치료를 위한 영양과 운동처방 I. 비만과 당뇨병에 미치는 영향 (Exercise Prescription and Dietary Modification for Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Degenerative Disease I. On Obesity and Diabetes)

  • 비만증이란 체내에 지방이 과도하게 축적된 상태이고, 당뇨병이란 혈당을 조절하는 insulin의 부족 혹은 작용 결함으로 인한 질환이다. 비만과 당뇨병의 일반적인 원인으로는 유전, 과식, 운동부족, 스트레스 등이 있다. 비만 및 당뇨병 환자는 섭취 열량을 줄이고 신체에 영양공급이 균형있게 이루어 지도록 균형잡힌 식생활을 해야 하며 고열량식품의 섭취를 줄여야 한다. 일반적인 운동 지침은 운동전 의학적 진단과 병력 검사가 우선되어야 하며, 점진적으로 운동강도를 높여야 한다. 비만과 당뇨병의 예방 및 치료를 위해서는 일반적으로 유산소 운동(조깅, 수영, 테니스, 에어로빅 댄스 등)을 60~80$\%$ HRmax(50~70$\%$ $Vo_2$ max)강도로, 15~60분, 주 3~6회 하는 것이 적당하다. 특히 당뇨병 환자는 유형에 따른 처방을 다소 달리해야 하며, 운동중 탄수화물이 든 간식을 하고 인슐린 활동이 최고에 달했을 때 운동을 중지하며 운동 후 저혈당 발생의 가능성에 대비하여 혈당을 높이기 위한 탄수화물 15~20g 분에 해당하는 식품을 섭취한다. 비만과 당뇨병 환자의 치료에 있어서 운동요법은 식이요법과 병행해서 이루어지는 것이 더욱 효과적이다

한국 지역사회 노인의 신체활동 프로그램이 수면에 미치는 효과: 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석 (Effects of Physical Activity Programs on Sleep among Community-dwelling Elders in Korea: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지역사회에 거주하는 한국 노인을 대상으로 한 신체활동 프로그램이 수면에 미치는 효과를 체계적이고 종합적으로 검증하기 위해 메타분석하는 것이다. 자료수집을 위해 PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) 가이드라인에 따라 2016년 11월 20일까지 출판된 연구물을 체계적으로 수집하고 각 기준에 따라 선별한 결과 총 7편이 메타분석 대상 논문으로 선정되었다. 자료 분석은 Comprehensive Meta-Analysis 3.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며, Q 검정을 통하여 연구들 사이의 동질성 여부를 검정한 후 개별 연구의 효과크기를 병합한 평균 효과크기를 산출하였다. 연구결과, 노인을 대상으로 한 신체활동 프로그램인, 힐링요가, 에어로빅댄스, 아쿠아로빅스, 한국무용, 베하스 운동, 운동프로그램, 타이치 운동이 수면에 미치는 총 효과는 Hedges' g=0.577(95% Confidence Interval (CI):0.337~0.817)로 유의한 효과크기를 보였다. 신체활동 프로그램 중 베하스 운동프로그램은 Hedges' g=0.758(95% CI:0.248~1.267)로 노인의 수면에 가장 큰 효과크기를 보였으며, 타이치 운동프로그램이 Hedges' g=0.697(95% CI:0.071~1.324), 운동프로그램은 Hedges' g=0.650(95% CI:0.141~1.159)의 순으로 효과크기를 보였다. 그러므로 지역사회 거주 노인의 수면의 질 향상을 위한 간호학적 중재를 적용함에 있어, 노인의 수면에 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 베하스 운동과 타이치 운동을 프로그램화 하여 적용하는 것이 도움이 될 것이다. 또한 노인의 수면에 유의한 효과를 미치지 않는 것으로 파악된 중재프로그램의 내용 및 특성, 문제점 등을 분석하여, 향후 노인을 대상으로 한 중재 개발 시 고려할 필요가 있다.

유산소운동의 실천과 만성질환이 동반된 관절염의 유병률 및 위험도에 대한 관계 연구 (A Study on Relationship between the Practice of Aerobic Exercise and the Prevalence and Risk of Arthritis with Comorbid Chronic Diseases)

  • 본 연구는 유산소운동의 실천과 만성질환이 동반된 관절염의 유병률 및 위험도에 대한 관계를 실증적으로 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 이 연구를 위해 국민건강영양조사 2017-2019년 자료를 활용하였으며, 연구대상으로 17,356명을 선정하였다. 인구사회학적 특성과 만성질환에 따라 유산소운동의 실천과 관절염의 유병률 및 위험도 관계를 카이제곱 독립성 검정과 Breslow-Day 검정으로 분석하였다. 인구사회학적 특성이 여성, 고연령, 저소득층, 저학력층, 지방거주인 경우 유산소운동 실천률이 낮은 반면 관절염의 유병률과 위험도인 오즈비가 상대적으로 높았다. 그리고 만성질환 양성집단에서 유산소운동 실천을 하는 집단이 실천하지 않는 집단보다 관절염의 유병률과 발병할 위험도가 낮았다. 특히 유산소 운동 실천은 고혈압, 당뇨, 이상지질혈증이 있는 사람들에게 관절염의 유병률과 위험도를 낮추는데 효능이 있는 보완재가 된다. 따라서 인구학적 특성에서 관절염의 유병률이 높은 집단과 만성질환이 동반된 관절염이 있는 사람들이 걷기와 천천히 달리기, 에어로빅 댄스와 같은 일상의 유산소운동을 반드시 실천할 수 있도록 예방의학과 보건의료 차원에서 권장되어야 함을 시사한다.

에어로빅 운동과 칼슘보충이 폐경이후 여성의 칼슘대사에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Aerobic Dancing and Ca Supplementation on Ca Metabolism in Postmenopausal Women)

  • This study was designed to investigate the effects of aerobic dancing and/or Ca supplemen-tation for six months on Ca metabolism in postmenopausal women. The subjects were healthy 29 women aged from 60 to 70 years old. They were divided into four groups ; placebo and Ca supplementation group with and without exercise. The amount of Ca supplemented was 500mg a day. The frequency of doing exercise was three times a week and it took 40 minutes to complete once all the course of aerobic dancing programmed for old women. The results were summarized as follows : 1) Bone density of the second lumbar spine and ward's triangle measured after experiment decreased significantly in control group as compared with pre-experimental level(P<0.05). On the contrary it showed a tendency to increase or maintained the pre-experimental level after experiment in other groups. 2) Urinary Ca/creatinine and P/creatinine ratios did not show any significant differences among groups before and after experiment. But urinary Ca/creatinine ration decreased signifi-cantly in Ca group after experiment(P<0.05) 3) Serum Ca and P levels did not show any significant differences among groups before and after experiment. But serum Ca level in creased significantly in Ca group after experiment(P<0.05) 3) Serum Ca and P levels did not show any significant differences among groups before and after experiment. But serum Ca level increased significantly in Ca group after experiment (P<0.05). 4) Serum PTH level also did not show any significant differences among groups before and after experiment. But serum calcitonin level decreased significantly in Ca group after experiment(P<0.05). The above results showed that it will be difficult to prevent degenerative bone loss without regular exercise and/or Ca supplementation in postmenopausal women having Korean usual diets.

에어로빅 운동이 여대생의 체내지질 및 Ca 대사에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Aerobic Dancing on Lipid and Ca Metabolism in College Women)

  • This study was designed to find out the effects of aerobic exercise on lipid and Ca metabolism in seven healthy college women, aged 20 to 22 years. Metabolic studies were conducted before and after a 10-weeks exercise period, during which subjects participated in the planned aerobic dance program every day except Sunday. The initial mean time engaged in the exercise was 28 minutes and it was gradually increased up to 45 minutes around the middle point of the exercise period. During both of metabolic study periods, the subjects ate experimental diets which supplied about 120g of protein and 600mg of Ca daily and during the rest of the experimental period they ate their usual diets. The use of alcoholic beverages and drugs were prohibited. The results were summarized as follows. 1) The effect of exercise on lipid metabolism. (1) Mean body weight decreased significantly after exercise(p<0.01) and it did not show a significant decline in skinfold thickness and total body fat contents. (2) Serum total cholesterol level decreased significantly after exercise(p<0.05) and TG level also tended to be lower than that of pre-exercise period. Exercise did not exert any influence on the level of serum HDL-cholesterol in this study. (3) Exercise did not alter total lipid content in feces and apparent lipid absorption rate. 2) The effect of exercise on Ca and P metabolism. (1) After exercise, focal Ca excretion was slightly reduced, however, urinary Ca excretion was not significantly changed. In the results, a slight increase was shown in body Ca retention after exercise. (2) Exercise tended to increase urinary P excretion, but neither P balance nor fecal excretion was significantly changed after exercise. (3) Bone mineral content was not affected by exercise. In summary, aerobic exercise decreased total cholesterol and TG level in serum and tended to increase body Ca retention. With the results, it can be concluded that the additional physical activities beyond the normal daily life in college women might prevent some degenerative diseases-suchas atherosclerosis and osteoporosis.

에어로빅댄스 수행과 비 운동 중년 여성의 신체 구성 및 혈청 Oxidized LDL 농도의 비교 (Comparison of Body Composition and Serum Oxidized LDL Concentration between Middle-aged Women Exercising Aerobics and Sedentary)

  • It is known that appropriate exercise changes body composition and improves coronary artery disease. This study was undertaken to evaluate the relationships between aerobic exercise, body composition, and the blood lipid levels in the middle-aged women(33 to 54 years old). The 57 subjects were divided into two groups based on their exercise: the aerobic exercise group(A group: 44) which performed at about $60\%$ of $VO_2max$ during over 6 months and the sedentary one(S group: 13). The percentages of body fat waist/hip ratio(WHR), body mass, and lean body mass of two groups were measured and compared in serum HDLC level and oxidized LDL level, the two most effective factors of coronary artery disease. The subjects in A group showed the lower percentages of body fat and WHR, when compared with the ones in S group. The body mass and lean body mass of A group subjects were higher than those of S group subjects. The serum HDL-C level$(58.6\pm12.7mg/mL)$ was significantly higher for A than S group subjects.(p<0.05) The sem ox-LDL level $(6.64\pm4.11Eu/mL)$ for A group subjects was lower than S group ones. The fat mass showed significantly positive correlations with atherogenic index(AI)(r=0.301, p<0.05), and with blood glucose levels(r=0.334, p<0.05). Also the WHR whowed significantly positive correlations with LDL-C levels(r=0.277, p<0.05), and with AI(r=0.466, p<0.01). In summary, the subjects in A group have the lower percentages of body fat and WHR, when compared with the ones in S group. Also, A group subject showed a tendency that exercise enhances serum HDL-C levels and decreases oxidized LDL levels. And aerobic exercise showed positive results which change body composition and improve blood lipid levels. There were significantly positive correlations among the percentages of body fat At and blood glucose level. These results suggest that moderately intensive exercise is a significant factor in reducing coronary artery disease.

태권에어로빅이 중년 비만여성의 비만지표 및 심혈관질환 위험인자에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Taekwon Aerobic Exercise on Obesity Indices and Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Middle-Aged Obese Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of taekwon aerobic on obesity indices and cardiovascular risk factors in middle-aged obese women. Method: Data were collected from 19 middle-aged obese women who participated in taekwon aerobic exercise. This research adopted one-group pretest-posttest design. Taekwon aerobic was applied 3 times in a week for 12 weeks, and the obesity indices and cardiovascular risk factors were checked before and after the program. Body weight, BMI and % body fat for obesity indices were checked, and total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol and the ratio of total cholesterol/HDL-cholesterol for cardiovascular risk factors were measured. The data was analyzed by paired t-test using SPSS/win 10.0. Results: There were significant differences in body weight, BMI and % body fat after the taekwon aerobic exercise. There was a significant difference in total cholesterol. However, there were no significant differences in triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol and the ratio of total cholesterol/HDL-cholesterol after the taekwon aerobic exercise. Conclusion: This study showed that taekwon aerobic exercise decreased obesity indices and lowered total cholesterol in the cardiovascular risk factors. The results of this study show that taekwon aerobic exercise is effective in enhancing the health of middle-aged obese women.

The subjects were healthy 29 women aged from 60 to 70 years old. They were divided into four groups: placebo and Ca supplementation group with and without exercise. During the experimental period, the subjects ate their usual diets and the use of druge as well as additional exercise was prohibited. The results were summarized as follows. 1. Percent body fat and BMI were significantly decreased and the body weight tended to decreased due to aerobic dancing. 2. Serum lipids content tended to show only a slihgt changes due to Ca supplementation: serum triglyceride, total-chol, LDL-chol, FFA content tended to decrease but serum HDL-chol / LDL-chol ratio tended to increase after the experiment in Ca group. On the contrary, serum lipids level was not changed by exercise. 3. Blood pressure did not show any significant changes by Ca supplementation and / or exercise for 6 months in old women. 4. Serum Ca level of Ca group was significantly increased after experiment in Ca group (p<0.05) but not in Ex-Ca group. In summarization, it appeared that the aerobic dancing was a definite way to reduce percent body fat and BMI in postmenopausal women. On the other hand, Ca supplementation seemed to be able to induce favorable changes in serum lipids. However, any synergistic metabolic effects of exercise and Ca supplementation was not seen in this study. Further study is needed to elucidate the relationship between exercise and/or Ca supplementation and the changes in blood lipids profile as well as blood pressure more clearly.

율동적 운동요법이 유방절제술 환자의 퇴원후 적응상태에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of Rhythmic Movement Therapy for Adaptation State in Mastectomy Patients)

  • 본 연구는 유방절제술 환자의 퇴원후 적응상태에 영향을 줄 수 있는 율동적 운동요법은 개발하고 그 프로그램이 유방절제술 환자에게 효과가 있는 지를 규명하기 위해 스트레스 적응모형을 사용하여 비동등성 대조군 전후 실험설계의 유사 실험 연구로 시도하였다. 1994년 7월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 부산시내에 소재하는 고신대학 부속 고신의료원 일반외과 외래에서 화학요법을 받고 있는 환자를 대상으로 대조군, 실험군을 선정하였고 실험군은 부산 송도 에어로빅에서 율동적 운동을 주2회 35-40분씩 6주동안 실시하여 10회 이상 참여하였고 대조군은 율동적 운동요법을 실시하지 않았다. 자료수집은 적응상태를 측정하기 위해 신체증상 측정도구와 관절각도지수, 신체상, 우울척도, 스트레스 지각측정도구, 사회적 적응척도를 사용하여 율동적 운동요법 전에 사전조사를 하고 10회가 끝난 후 사후조사를 하였으며 수집된 자료는 $spss/pc^+$$x^2-test$, t-test, two-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation coefficient를 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 율동적 운동요법을 시행한 실험군과 시행하지 않은 대조군은 신체적 적응 수준에서 신체적 증상에는 유의한 차이가 없었고 관절각도지수는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 율동적 운동요법을 시행한 실험군과 시행하지 않은 대조군은 심리적 적응 수준에서 우울, 신체상, 스트레스 지각정도에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 율동적 운동요법을 시행한 실험군과 시행하지 않은 대조군은 사회적 적응 수준도 유의한 차이가 있었다. 넷째, 율동적 운동요법이 매개변수인 건강통제위 종류에 따른 적응수준의 차이는 율동적 운동요법은 타인통제위 성향이 있는 군에서 우울을 더 감소시켰고 사회적 적응수준을 더 증진시켰다. 다섯째, 제 적응수준간의 상관관계에서 신체적 증상과 신체상, 신체상과 사회적 적응은 정상관관계가 있었다. 스트레스 지각정도는 사회적 적응, 우울과 신체상, 우울과 사회적 적응은 부적상관 관계가 있었다.
