Effects of Change Agent's Positive Self Image and Risk Tolerance on Change Acceptance and Work Adaptation (변화대응 및 업무적응에 대한 긍정적 자기관과 모험 수용성의 영향)

  • The hypothesis of this study is that change acceptance and work adaptation of change agents are influenced by positive self-image and risk tolerance. In order to examine the hypothesis, this study was performed with 305 change agents from six branches of a conglomerate company. Specifically, self-image was measured by locus of control, self-efficacy, self-esteem, and positive affectivity; risk tolerance was measured by tolerance for ambiguity, risk aversion, and openness to experience. The result of this study indicated that self-image and risk tolerance significantly predicted change acceptance and work adaptation. Especially, the results of structural model revealed that change acceptance mediated the relationship between characteristic variables (such as self image and risk tolerance in this study) and work adaptation. Based on the results, we suggest that change agents keep developing positive self-image and risk tolerance in order to play the key role in leading organizational change.

A Study on User Interface Enhancement for NEIS School Affairs Business System (교무업무시스템의 사용자 인터페이스 개선에 관한 연구)

  • The current user interface (UI) of NEIS school affairs business system is not efficient in conducting the business because of complicated data input forms as well as unharmonious connection between similar items and functional menu. In the paper, the term UI means a comprehensive concept including input/output, input/output related functionality, and menu configuration for users to perform their tasks. The first survey, carried out with one hundred teachers at three elementary schools of Kyeonggi-do, shows that the UI problems of the system are manual inputs, inconvenient menu configuration, disconnection between academic calendar and educational process, complexities of managing attendance report and curriculum evaluation, etc. We have improved the UI design by providing more efficient input method and more systematic menu configuration compared to the current system, and then evaluated the design through the second survey. Evaluation results show that users prefer the proposed UI design especially from the viewpoint of user-friendly input interface and user-oriented view composition.

  • 본 연구는 환적화물을 처리하는 모선사, 피더선사, 하주 등의 항만물류주체의 업무처리 생산성과 효율성을 제고하기 위한 정보시스템, Transhipment Container Handling System (TCHS)을 제시하였다. 국내의 환적화물에 대한 업무처리는 일반적으로 선사와 피더선사간의 환적화물계약업무 모선사의 환적화물을 피더선사에게 할당하는 업무, 마지막으로 미처 할당되지 못한 모선사의 환적화물과 피더선박의 잔여 선복을 거래하는 업무와 같이 3부분으로 구분된다. 그런데, 현재 이러한 업무를 처리함에 있어 개별적인 접촉과 적절한 정보시스템이 지원되지 않아서 많은 비용, 노력, 시간이 소비되고 있다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 환적업무에 관련된 항만물류주체의 요구조사를 통해 환적화물업무를 처리함에 있어 생산성과 효율성을 제고할 수 있는 정보시스템을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 시스템은 현행 거래를 유지하면서, 각 업무의 효율적으로 지원하기 위한 시스템으로 온라인 계약지원시스템, 자동할당시스템, 협상기반 e-Marketplace 시스템으로 구성된다.

Analysis on changes in work autonomy of content industry workers (콘텐츠산업 인력의 업무 자율성 변화 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze changes in work autonomy of content industry workers using Korea Working Conditions Survey(2010, 2014) and difference-differences estimation method. The results find that there was no significant change in the work autonomy (work order, work method, work speed) of the content industry worker in In the overall sample. On the other hand, analyzing the sample of 30 or more employee establishment size shows that work autonomy of the content industry worker is greatly reduced. Also, work autonomy is high when the rank or capability is high, whereas work autonomy decreases when the establishment size is large. This study implies that the content industry workers have shown quantitatively the reduction of work autonomy. It also suggests that compensation and management systems are needed to enhance the competitiveness of the content industry.

  • Currently, the appraisal system for public records is mainly based on the disposition authority named 'Records Management Criteria Table,' which has many limitations in digital environment. Especially, it does not apply to other systems than the 'Business Management System' and does not adequately reflect the complex environment of records creation. The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to improve the 'Records Management Criteria Table,' so that it can be applied to appraisal of records created in a complex work environment. For this purpose, this study investigates a case of 'Factory Establishment and Registration' activity performed by local governments. For this activity, related laws and regulations, business processes and systems for those processes are analyzed and types of records are examined by each business process and system. Based on these analyses, the development procedure and structure of a new 'Records Management Criteria Table' are suggested, so that it can be applicable as disposition authority in the complex environments of records creation.

  • 지난 이태 동안, 미국간호협회에서는 5개 분과위원회의 간호원들이 모여 ''간호란 무엇인가?''라는 문제에서 그 기준을 모색하기 위해 고심해 왔다. 공중 보건간호나 노인병간호, 모자보건간호, 일반 내$\cdot$외과간호, 정신과 간호등 다섯 분과위원회는 각분야의 업무평가 기준을 확립하기 위하여 수차 회으를 통하여 각분야의 간호업무 본질을 조사하였다. 이들의 조사결과는 ''간호란 무엇인가''를 확실히 하여 다른 사람을 이해시키고 업무수행 능력의 측정의 기준이 될 것으로 기대한다. 최근에 다섯개분과의 간호원들은 이 결과를 보고하기 위해서 저널지에서 토론하였는데 이 토론 가운데는 각 분과 위원회의 유사점을 비교했고 상반되는 점들을 서로 알게 되었다. 간호원들의 능력을 측정하는 수단 이외에는 어떤 분과도 간호업무의 실행능력 측정의 방법에 대해서 아무 전례도 가지고 있지 못했다. 각 분과회의는 장시간에 걸쳐 맡겨진 분야를 연구하여 초고(草稿)를 만들고 다시 수정하고 난 후에 실무간호원 및 고문으로부터 여러가지 의견을 받아 들였다. 이렇게 하여 간호기준은 여러가지 단계를 거쳐 완성되어 가고 있으며 각 부분이 끝나는 대로 발행될 것이다. 제일 먼저 ''노인병간호'' ''정신과 간호''의 업무기준이 곧 발행될 것이다. 모자보건위원회는 마지막 평가를 받기 위해 각 주에 있는 위원회에 그 간호기준을 보낼 계획이다. 일반 내$\cdot$외과간호 위원회에서는 이미 만들어 놓은 간호 기준을 50명의 전문 간호원들로 페널 디스커?을 가질 계획이며, 공중보건간호위원회는 9월에 열릴 회의에서 마지막 단계로 들어 갈 것으로 보고 있다.

  • This study intends to make a comprehensive inquiry about practices of cataloging outsourcing implemented in Korea libraries. To the end, this study examined (1) how many libraries is carrying out the cataloging outsourcing, (2) why libraries consider cataloging outsourcing, (3) methods and procedures of cataloging outsourcing and (4) advantages and disadvantages of cataloging outsourcing from catalogers' perspectives. The data needed for discussion were collected by two methods : a survey with 138 public libraries and an in-depth interviews with 10 catalogers drawn from the survey participants.

  • The department of processing is one to supervise the care for documents and the transaction of business and is also the starting point for task and production of records. In the department of processing, it not only produces records but also performs most tasks including keeping on file, organizing, arranging the period of preservation and transferring. Despite the importance of this record management in the department of processing, the problem of record management in the department of processing is considered to the private problem such as lack of will of task performers. After investigating the importance of record management and the record management that task performers think through a survey, this study deducts the matters to improve in the task of record management at the institution.

내항여객선의 운항관리제도에 대한 인식도 조사

  • 이 연구에서는 내항여객선 운항관리제도의 국내외 사례를 살펴보고 운항관리제도에 대한 관계자의 인식도를 조사하였다. 조사결과 공동운항관리제도가 내항여객선의 안전관리업무에 유익정도는 높은 것으로 분석됐다. 이 중 운항관리비용에 대한 회사에서 부담과 운항관리자의 권한 부족에 대해서는 안전관리업무에 대한 저조한 요인으로 나타났다. 또한 내항여객선의 운항관리에 대한 운영방향에 대해서는 '현 체제(공동운항관리제도)로 운영한다' 가장 높았다. 이 연구는 최근 운항관리자 운영에 따른 운항관리 비용을 정부측에 국고지원을 요구하고 있는 시점에 관련연구가 진행되어 매우 시의적절하다고 할 수 있겠다.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the ways of improving systematic records management based on the results of analyzing the present records management situation of college and department in an university which is operating archives. To achieve the purpose, survey and interview of the persons in charge of producing and managing the administrative documents of college and department were conducted. Furthermore, actual condition investigation of records management of college and department and university archives were analyzed. According to the results of analysis, the following problems were found: 1) lack of sufficient records management by college and department, 2) lack of understanding of tasks by processing staffs, 3) operational problems of university archives. Based on the results, recommendations were made as follows; First, it is necessary to improve an awareness of records management by operating staffs. Second, it is necessary to educate staffs through the development of training programs reflecting the characteristics of the university and set up guidelines for records management by college and department. Third, it is necessary to execute reorganization and supplement the personnel of university archives.
