Present state of nationwide marine facilities reported to Minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs{MLTM} in Korea for two years 2008 and 2009 was analyzed, and management plan was proposed in this study. As of the end of 2009, total number of nationwide marine facilities was reported to be 672 and to be scattered along the coasts all over the nation. 124 marine facilities reported to Masan regional maritime affairs and port office occupied 18.5% of total nationwide number. 69 marine facilities reported to Mokpo regional office and 69 marine facilities reported to Pohang regional office occupied 10.3%, respectively. 181 marine facilities reported to Busan and Masan regional offices occupied 26.9%, meaning that about a quarter of total nationwide marine facilities concentrated in Southeastern Sea of Korea centering around Busan and Masan. 320 oil and noxious liquid substances storage facilities occupied 47.6% of total nationwide number. 11 pollutant storage facilities occupied 1.6%. 178 ship construction, repair and scrap facilities occupied 26.5%. 7 cargo handling facilities occupied 1.0%. 12 waste storage facilities occupied 1.8%. none of marine facilities for tourism, housing and restaurant were reported. 88 water intake and outlet facilities occupied 13.1%. 37 fishing spots at play occupied 5.5%. 13 other marine facilities occupied 1.9%. 6 integrated marine science base facilities occupied 0.9% of total nationwide number. The guidance and the public relation for national report system of marine facilities, the improvement of national report system and management plan, the advancement and complement of national report affairs-handling guides, and the voluntary participation in national report system and the performance of duties by the owners of marine facilities were proposed for better management plan of marine facilities.

The marine litter generated as by-products of human activities and economic development enters to the sea through rivers or stream Indirectly, and through sea-based activities directly. It is commonly comprised of materials that degrade very slowly, such as various plastic products, polystyrene, glass, rubber, metal, wood, derelict fishing nets, wire, rope and so on. Such litter is found in the water column and on the seafloor as well as coastal areas In the Northwest Pacific region. It causes injury or death of human and other living organisms and also accident or damage of the vessel. It is not only a problem of country but also regional and/or global problem because it is transported by currents and winds from one country to another. In this regard, Northwest Pacific Action Plan (NOWPAP) Marine Litter Activity (MALITA) project had been carried out during 2006-2007 biennium and NOWPAP Regional Action Plan on Marine Litter (RAP MALI) has been also continuously implemented in the 2008-2009 biennium as next phase step of MALITA. MERRAC, one of four Regional Activity Centres (RACs) of NOWPAP, has developed monitoring guidelines, sectoral guidelines, and brochures related to sea-based marine litter and port reception facilities and services through MALITA project. Based upon these output, MERRAC will continuously implement relevant activities of RAP MALI in order to help to establish and improve a regional mechanism to deal with the sea-based marine litter problem. This paper aims to introduce MERRAC activities under MALITA and RAP MALI, and to suggest several recommendations to reduce marine litter in the NOWPAP region.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the current status of food service management in elementary care classes. Methods: A focus group interview with seven care class managers and a survey with 101 care class managers using a self-administered questionnaire in Gyeonggi province were conducted. Results: In the focus group interview, purchased meals and snacks were evaluated as low quality by the care class managers. Frequent use of frozen or processed food and products with low prices were also reported as problems. Care class managers were in charge of meal and snack planning without any guidelines or expert advices. The results of the survey show that most schools serve purchased snacks and meals. The average unit costs of one meal and snack were 4,062 and 1,463 Won, respectively. The average unit costs of snacks during semester (p = 0.015) and vacation (p = 0.039) were significantly lower in rural than urban areas. The percentages of schools that prepared nutrition standards for meal and snack planning in elementary care classes were only 7.4% and 10.9%, respectively. The meal menus were mostly provided by catering service companies, and the snack menus were planned mostly by the care class managers. Menu planning by the care class managers was more usual in rural than urban areas (p = 0.054 for meal planning and p = 0.008 for snack planning). Just 33.7% of schools introduced safety standards for food service in elementary care classes, and more than half of the respondents (56.4%) did not do a regular medical check-up. Only 33.7% of the respondents received education for food safety. Conclusion: These results show the necessity for establishment of detailed guidelines for food service in elementary care classes and for the introduction of a food safety and nutrition education program customized for care class managers.
The purpose of this research is to maximize the core competencies by objectively measuring the Behaviour Patterns of students in Comic-Animation major to understand the difference between individuals and to maximize one's merits which will improve the efficiency in education. Also through this research we could understand which aspects would be affected in both the satisfaction about the major based on Behaviour Patterns and the satisfaction of university life. According to the DISC Patterns, 41.7% of the students in Comic-Animation department shows that they were in Patterns I (Influence). And Patterns S (Steadiness) were 10% which was the lowest percentage in this survey. In the average of the subject's satisfaction aspect, the satisfaction of the professors' suggestion was 3.68 which was the highest. While the satisfaction of the administration service and welfare facility was 2.56 which was the lowest. The satisfaction rate based on DISC Behaviour Patterns shows a significant difference among the satisfaction of the department, the satisfaction of atmosphere in university and the satisfaction of the admin and welfare. Patterns I (Influence) was the highest the satisfaction in the major and the satisfaction of the university life while Patterns C(Criticalness) was the lowest. In particular, the importance of the I (Influence) is the most important factor, but it is essential that there is a slight decrease in the precision and accuracy of the work, and C(Criticalness) is shy and stressed, so they need to give positive communication and accurate advice. It is required to Comic-Animation department professor to analyse students' character based on Behaviour Patterns and a person's pros and cons for the career exploration and the employment consultation in order to have positive affect on employment rate. Also if the department's Behaviour Patterns construction were well utilized, it can improve the success rate of useful leadership and fellowship. it will improve the atmosphere in the department which will decrease the drop-out rate but increase the cohesion in the department which will lead to providing better result in the work and the project.
Terrorism which became today's common phenomena over the world is one of the most serious threats the world confront. Although International society make and operate outstanding anti-terrorism system, terror would never end without solving fundamental problems. The main body of terrorism converts from nation to organization and from organization to cell, which makes it difficult for us to recognize the main body. Since the target of today's new terrorism is many and unspecified persons, terrorists will never hesitate to use mass destruction weapons such as nuclear, biological, chemical weapons, and also use cyber-technique or cyber-terrorism. So, effective counter-terrorism measures should be performed as follows. First, it must be better for international society should make long-time plan of solving fundamental problems of terrorism other than to operate directly on terror organization and its means. Second, preventive method should be made. The most effective method of eradicating terrorism is prevention. For this, it is necessary to remove environmental elements of terrorism and terrorist bases, and to stop inflow of money and mass destruction weapons to terrorists. Third, integrated anti-terror organization should be organized and operated for continuous counter-terrorism operations. Also international alliance for anti-terrorism should be maintained to share informations and measures. Fourth, concerned department in the government should prepare counter-terrorism plans in their own parts as follows and make efforts to integrate the plans. - Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs : conventional terror - Ministry of Health and Welfare : bio-terror - Ministry of Science and Technology : nuclear-terror Especially, they should convert their policy and operation from post-terror actions to pre-terror actions, designate terror as national disaster and organize integrated emergency response organization including civil, government, and military elements. In conclusion, pre-terror activities and remedy of fundamental causes is the best way to prevent terror. Also, strengthening of intelligence activities, international cooperations, and preventive and comprehensive counter-measures must not ignored.
It is required to derive various conclusions by identifying the type of power and the relationship between SCMs and presenting practical implications. Thus, we can identify the differential effects of each type of power on SCM performance. We can contribute to develop the practical implications at more sophisticated multi-dimension by comparing results of this study with various SCM theories. Through previous studies, the source of power is largely divided into binding power and non-binding power. Binding power is classified into behavior coercion, binding reward and relationship legitimacy. Non-binding power is classified into work expertise, information superiority and value compliance. Enterprises should fully understand and recognize partners within supply chains including understanding of the source of power, imbalance and results. Thus, we look into types of power and effects on trust and commitment, and identify a causal relationship leading to collaboration and SCM performance. Specific research results are as follows. First, the binding power did not give a significant effect to the trust. However, the binding power gave a positively(+) significant effect to the commitment. Second, non-binding power showed a significant effect on both trust and commitment. As a result of analysis on total effects, it was shown that non-binding power gave indirect effects to collaboration and SCM performance. Third, it was shown that both trust and commitment significantly affected collaboration. From the perspectives of social exchange theory and trading cost theory among inter-organizational relationship theory, it may lead to SCM performance of trust, commitment and collaboration. Moreover, it was found that association of each attribute of power led to the significant result. Fourth, it was shown that trust and collaboration significantly affected SCM performance. However, commitment did not directly affect SCM performance, but it indirectly significantly affected SCM performance through collaboration. Proper use of this power can firmly build partnerships between members of the supply chain and induce the improvement on supply chain performance and satisfaction of members.
The purpose of this study was to examine the utilization of oral health education media among dental hygienists in charge of oral health education. The findings of the study were as follows. 1. In regard to the general utilization of educational media in possession by workplace, age and career, the dental hygienists who worked in public health clinics(42.4%), who were in their 40s and up(341.%) and whose career was six years or more(32.2%) made more use of the educational media. Those who didn't use the educational media cited time constraints as the most common reason(46.1%). 2. Models(53.2%) were highly preferred in most of the institutions where the dental hygienists worked, but the public health clinics(81.8%) and university hospitals(80.0%) were most fond of video clips. 3. Concerning preference for educational media by career, the dental hygienists whose career was between three and less than six years and who had a 10 years or more of career had the most liking for video clips, followed by models. Those whose career was between one to less than three years and between six and less than 10 years showed the most preference for models, followed by video clips. 4. As for their perception of the necessity of educational media, the majority felt the need for the media(87.5%). Regarding difficulties in purchasing necessary educational media, the biggest group pointed out a shortage of information(56.1%).
The purpose of this study was to examine the infection control attitude of dental hygienists and the relationship between their attitude and general characteristics. The subjects in this study were 235 dental hygienists who received local in-service education on April 27, 2008. The survey was conducted by this researcher with questionnaires that included 11 items about general characteristics and 41 about attitude of dental infection. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The dental hygienists investigated got a mean of 2.96 out of possible three points on hand washing, which was a high score. Those who had never been exposed to the blood of patients scored better than the others who hadn't. As for infection control attitude of protective personal devices, they got 2.01 out of possible three points. Those who were at the age of 26 to 30 and who had ever received infection control education got better scores. 2. Concerning attitude toward surface disinfectant, they got 1.95 out of possible three points. whose age was shorter, whose career was shorter, who were in charge of treatment, who served at general hospitals and who had ever received infection control education got better scores. In regard to attitude to surface disinfection methods, they got 1.83 out of possible three points. Those who had ever received infection control education got better scores. 3. As for equipment disinfection, they got 2.43 out of possible three points. Those who worked at dental hospitals and who had ever received infection control education got better scores. Concerning attitude to disposal of scrapped materials, they got 2.92 out of possible three points, and all the intergroup gaps weren't significant. 4. Overall, the dental hygienists got a mean of 2.08 out of possible three points on dental infection control, and those who worked at dental hospitals and who had ever received infection control education took a better attitude to dental infection control.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of verbal violence against dental hygienists, their emotional reaction and the relation between their intention of job transfer and verbal violence so that it could offer the basic data for developing the way how to cope with verbal violence and for improving their performance. Two hundred fifty-seven dental hygienists working for dentists' in Busan were interviewed from May 17 to 31, 2014 to collect data, of which analysis was as follows: 1) As a result of verbal violence done by patients and their guardians, 80.5% said that they experienced crude language with 17.5% forceful and imperative sentence, and 13.2% ignorant statements about their job. They were exposed to verbal violence once or twice every 6 months. As a result of researching verbal violence of co-working senior or junior hygienists, 52.1% answered that their co-working senior or junior hygienists talked crude language and 38.1% said their co-workers happened to say crude language to them. The crude language experience was relatively high as 20.2% and once or twice a week. As a result of verbal violence done by dentists, 47.5% said that they've heard crude language and 34.6% said that they experienced forceful and imperative sentence. 2) The overall average of the intention to transfer their job was $3.06{\pm}1.03$, while the highest intention of job transfer was $3.11{\pm}0.91$ where they said I have once wanted to transfer my job. 3) As a result of seeing the relation among verbal violence, emotional reaction and the intention of job transfer, there was co-relation between verbal violence and the patients' age (p<0.01); there were also co-relation between verbal violence of patients, co-workers and dentists (p<0.01). There was also significant relation between emotional reaction on verbal violence and their intention of job transfer (p<0.001).

The purpose of the study was to examine health-related behaviors and nutrient intake in relation to job stress level of police officers. Total of 166 police officers working in Jeonbuk area participated in the study. The study was conducted from February to March, 2009. Subjects were given self-administered questionnaire on their general health status, dietary and health-related habits. Nutrient intake was assessed by semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. Subjects were divided into four groups (very low, low, high, very high) by their job stress level scores. Main concerns of job stress were from 'job demand', 'organizational system' and 'lack of reward'. More than 95% of the subjects were confident of their health status. Health habits, such as drinking, smoking and exercising, were better than that of average Korean men. There were significant differences in dietary habits in relation to job stress level. Lower job stress group showed lower rate of skipping breakfast (p<0.01), more affordable meal time (p<0.05) and better snacking habits (p<0.001). Sweet food preference was higher in lower job stress group (p<0.05). The average calorie intake was $2063\pm532.7$ (88.5% of EER) and there was no significant difference in nutrient intake among job stress levels. However, mean intake of calcium and vitamin $B_2$ was less than 75% of %DRI in higher job stress group. Therefore, further support in nutritional counseling programs to improve dietary behaviors and health habits and to reduce job concerned stress of the police officers will be necessary.
