제품에 대한 소비자의 평가는 제품이 나타내는 전반적인 특성에 대하여 이루어지며, 이 과정에서 인간의 오감이 모두 작용한다. 최근 대두되기 시작하고 있는 다감각 디자인은 형태와 색상을 중심으로 한 시각 중심의 디자인에 시각분만 아니라 청각과 후각 등의 감각요소를 추가하려는 시도를 하고 있다. 제품 디자인에 다감각을 활용하기 위해서는 복합적인 감각자극과 인간의 감성 사이의 관계가 명확하게 이해되어야 하며, 복합자극 이전에 시각 이외의 단순 감각자극에 의한 감성 변화에 대한 이해가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구는 음향자극에 대한 감성변화를 평가하는 것을 목적으로 하였으며, 선별된 30개 음향을 대상으로 6쌍의 감성어휘를 이용하여 평가한 결과, 음향이 피실험자의 감성에 변화를 발생시키는 것을 확인하였다. 감성의 변화는 음향의 물리적 속성 분만 아니라 사용자 자신의 개인적, 사회적, 문화적 요인에 의해 차이를 보였으며, 이 결과는 감성의 개인적 속성을 확인시켜 주었다.

Such changes that the digital paradigm brought propels a change of the value system itself in the existing society so that a way of thinking that differentiates oneself from others is getting much stronger. As public interests are higher in the image production on the internet, such authoring environments as development of related technologies, expansibility of information, and systematization of available information continue to change. Therefore, a variety of unique image presentations that fit to the changed environments are necessary and an expression method is indispensable for such image production. This study focuses on digital image creating in which a synectics method is applied. It suggests digital image application methods and examples that contain not just simple image distortion or variation but intrinsic significance. It is believed that it will be of good use to produce a variety of unique and innate digital images in the end.

The primary aim of this paper is to discuss the historical development or grammaticalization of English adverbial -ly suffix and provide a diachronic analysis of manner adverbs and sentence adverbs from the perspective of secondary grammaticalization. The grammaticalization includes both the primary grammaticalization from a lexical to a grammatical and the secondary grammaticalization from a less grammatical to a more grammatical status. The emergence of the manner adverbs is due to the primary grammaticalization from OE adjectival suffix -lic to ME adverbial suffix -ly. In contrast, the emergence of sentence adverbs is due to the secondary grammaticalization from manner adverbs in VP domain to sentence adverbs in TP domain with grammatical features of tense and modality. This paper concludes that the secondary grammaticalization of the English adverbial -ly suffix includes the change from manner adverbs to sentence adverbs which obtain a new grammatical function of tense and modality.

본 논문에서는 고품질의 얼굴 동영상과 운율이 첨가된 음성을 통합하여 자연스런 가상얼굴을 실시간으로 합성하는 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법에서는 한글 텍스트를 입력하여, 텍스트에 따라 입모양과 음성을 합성하고, 얼굴 동영상과 음성의 동기를 맞추고 있다. 먼저, 텍스트를 음운 변화한 후, 문장을 분석하고 자모음사이의 지속시간을 부여한다. 자모음과 지 속시간에 따라 입모양을 변화시켜 얼굴 동영상을 생성하고 있다. 이때, 텍스트에 부합한 입 모양 변화뿐만 아니라, 두부의 3차원 동작과 다양한 표정변화를 통하여 자연스런 가상얼굴 을 실시간으로 합성하고 있다. 한편, 음성합성에서는 문장분석 결과에 따라 강세구와 억양구 를 정하고 있다. 강세구와 억양구를 이용하여 생성된 운율모델이 고품질의 음성합성에 필요 한 지속시간, 억양 및 휴지기를 제어한다. 합성단위는 무제한 어휘가 가능한 반음절과 triphone(VCV)의 조합이며, 합성방식은 TD-PSOLA를 사용한다.

The affective words on photographic images were analyzed and a model was structured. Based on this model, the effects of color on the affections were studied. In study 1, the photographic images with various materials and techniques were presented and the affective responses are collected. The factor analysis using principal axing method showed that the variance of the affective words could be explained about 42％ by the three factors. These are named positive-negative, dynamic-static, light-heavy, respectively. In study 2, the effects of color on the affections were evaluated on three basic dimensions. Ninety representative color images were converged black-and-white images, and each of 180 images was rated on the three affective scales. The t-test showed that the effects of color are statistically significant on the three affective scales, respectively. The achromatic images were felt more negative, more static, and heavier than chromatic images.

The aim of this study is to conduct superordinate word selection task to compare their performance and reaction time, and superordinate word writing task to compare the differences in their performance and error pattern in 40 elderly adults and 43 young adults. As a result, first, in both tasks, elderly adults had a smaller number of correct responses. Second, elderly adults showed slower reaction time than young adults. Third, in superordinate word writing task, elderly adults showed more relevant errors than irrelevant errors. The reason elderly adults had a smaller number of correct responses in both tasks was that the links among the pieces of information in the semantic lexicon weakened or deteriorated due to normal aging. Slower reaction time was based on neurophysiological changes of the brain and cognitive processing speed. In addition, the relevant errors showed that they could access the lexicon for target words and produce explanation the relevant characteristics, even though they could not retrieve the target words.

웹 브라우저 상에서 한국어 음성인식을 이용한 정보검색 시스템에 대한 것이다. 이 시스템의 특징은 웹 브라우저 상에서 보여지는 Hypertext Word를 인식할 수 있는 거승로 기존의 웹 브라우저를 마우스 click 대신 음성인식을 이용하여 사용할 수 있다는 것이다. 웹 브라우저를 통해서 보여지는 고정되지 않고 계속 하여 변화하는 인식후보를 인식하기 위해 당 연구실에서 개발한 가변 어휘 인식기를 사용하였다. 시스템은 windows 95/NT 환경에서 개발되었으며, 사용자가 새로운 인터페이스를 배울 필요 없이 바로 사용할 수 있도록 사용자 편의성 부분도 고려하여 개발되었다. 개발된 시스템은 독립 환경, 독립 화자에 대해 실험한 결과 130여개의 단어에 대해 편균 90% 정도의 인식성능을 보인다.

Cultural, social, economic and other various environmental factors affect our language and different words and terminology are used and coined for different contexts, resulting in quantitative change of vocabulary. This paper presents an automatic pronunciation generator using selection procedure for exceptional pronunciation words from added text corpus, which reflects this dynamic nature of language. For our experiment, we used the text corpus released by ETRI for speech recognition. consisting or 53,750 sentences (740.497 Eojols), and obtained a 100% performance level of the proposed automatic pronunciation generator.

웨어러블 컴퓨터가 점차 기술 중심의 패러다임에서 착용자 및 의복 중심 패러다임으로 변화 되어가는 현재, 착용자들의 다양한 욕구와 심리만족을 지원해주며, 또 자신의 스타일과 개성에 맞게끔 재구성이 가능하며, 편리하게 사용 할 수 있는 사용자 중심 인터페이스 디자인이 필요해졌다. 이를 위해 기존 의복에서 여밈을 위해 사용되거나, 외형의 형태를 만들거나, 의복의 탈/부착을 통해 다양한 기능을 변경하기 위해 사용되었던 의복 패스닝 시스템(Fastening System)을 이용해서 착용자가 마치 옷을 입는 것처럼 자연스럽고, 익숙하고, 친근한 웨어러블 컴퓨터 인터페이스 디자인을 하기 위한 연구를 진행한다. 이를 위해 의복 패스너의 다양한 특징과 그 활용 정도를 살펴보고, 웨어러블 컴퓨터에 적용 가능한 기술 요소를 추출하고, 의복 패스너 및 의복 구성 요소를 추출한다. 사용자 멘탈 모델 조사를 통해 의복 패스너의 분리/결합/조작을 하는 행위에서 어휘들을 추출하고 각 기능 모듈의 적절한 신체 부착 부위에 대한 사용자 조사를 시행한다. 이를 바탕으로 추출한 어휘와 의복 패스너의 특징, 그리고 인터페이스 요소 사이의 관계성을 연결하여 의복 패스너를 이용하여 기능의 분리/결합/조작을 지원하는 웨어러블 컴퓨터 인터페이스 디자인 요소를 도출한다. 도출된 의복 패스너를 통한 인터페이스 디자인 요소를 활용하여 착용자 각 개인의 다양한 개성과 심리적 만족을 위한 다양한 웨어러블 컴퓨터 기능들의 분리/결합/조작을 위한 인터페이스 컨셉 디자인을 제작하여 그 활용과 응용 가능성에 대해 연구한다.
