A Study on Shaft Dynamic Characteristic for G/T 250TON Double-Ended Car-Ferry (G/T 250톤 양방향 차도선 축계의 동특성에 관한 고찰)

  • The car ferry operating between the mainland and the island plays an important role on transportation of goods and passengers. Therefore, the improvement of efficiency and safety as well as economic factor are importantly considered in the development process of car ferry. Double-ended car ferry is already popularized because of its economic feasibility and convenience for passenger in Europe and developed countries, and the demand is booming in domestic. In this paper, dynamic characteristics of propeller shaft and strength in double-ended car ferry are analyzed using campbell diagram and modal analysis. Based on the analysis of dynamic characteristics, resonant phenomenon and critical speed are stable when occurring the propeller shaft vibration due to forward and reverse propeller shaft working.

Basic Research on Structural Optimum Design of G/T 250ton Class Double-ended Car-Ferry Ship (G/T 250톤급 양방향 차도선의 차량갑판 구조 최적설계에 관한 기초연구)

  • In this paper, It was performed to optimize for the deck's structural design of a double ended car ferry ship respect to Goal-Driven Optimization (GDO). It was examined for the strength and deformation of the deck and determined to save economic cost the optimal point. The deck thickness based on the Design of Experiments (DOE) and response surface method was increased to 110%. and can improve the deck's strength and stiffness. By performing the regression analysis respect to the result, we propose the optimal regression model formula as a third degree polynomial regression models. The coefficient of determination $R^2$ was about 0.98 and reliability could be obtained.

  • 유한요소법을 이용하여 카페리선 제작 시 축계의 제작 및 강도의 문제를 Campbell Diagram 및 Modal 해석을 통한 동특성 분석을 하였다. 이를 통하여 양방향 차도선의 추진 방향 및 후진 방향 축계 작동 시 공진 현상 및 위험속도를 분석 결과 안정성을 보인 것으로 판단된다.

  • Two-Way CAR-FERRY land and islands, islands to islands, the connection between sustainable marine transportation in conjunction with the increasing demand of tourists, according to the associated coastal maritime tourism and passenger transport has a role. Subsequent Two-Way CAR-FERRY and the increased ease of use due to berthing maritime accidents can be reduced. Two-Way CAR-FERRY as the draft (even) in the state on both sides of the propeller, because the propeller due to the small diameter, low speed forward flight by the reaction at the shaft and propeller damage can occur. Engine output accordingly, linear and torsional vibration reducer by, elastic coupling selection transverse vibration and shaft alignment (Shaft alignment) considering the shaft design (bearing size, width, thickness) and the primary drive shaft support portion of the hull structure of evaluated for quality.
