In 2018, 14.3 percent of South Korea's elderly population aged 65 or older entered an aged society and is expected to enter a super-aged society with more than 20 percent of the elderly population around 2025. Older adults often visit different medical institutions to take medicine, which requires medication management, such as interaction between each drug. In this study, we wanted to analyze the U.S. system, which specializes in drug management for the elderly, and Korea's system, which is about to enter a super-aged society, to find a systematic way to manage drugs for the elderly. The method of study was a systematic literature study on elderly drug management in Korea and the United States. Studies have shown that the United States has enacted the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) for the elderly and has been running the Senior Drug Enforcement Program. In Korea, a community care business is underway to manage drugs for senior citizens, but it is analyzed that the elderly need to have a special medicine system for senior citizens to use them more safely.

Objectives : The risk of weight gain is high when using antipsychotic drugs, and the prevalence of obesity in people with mental illness is high. Obesity management in psychiatric patients is important because obesity causes various complications and lowers treatment adherence and quality of life. Methods : In this review, we summarized the management strategies for obesity that can occur when using antipsychotic drugs through a web search. Results : Evaluate obesity-related risk factors and related indicators from the beginning of treatment, and conduct regular monitoring. If an antipsychotic drug is used and obesity is induced, a change to a drug with a low metabolic risk may be attempted. Sufficient interventions are also needed on the need to manage obesity, a healthy diet, and exercises in patients and their families. If weight loss is not achieved and obesity-related complications are associated, the use of anti-obesity drugs may be considered. Pharmacological treatment approaches should be carefully considered. Conclusions : Non-pharmacological and pharmacological therapies can be applied to manage weight gain and obesity caused by the use of antipsychotic drugs. When using anti-obesity drugs, the characteristics of mental disorders, drug safety, and drug interactions should be considered.

서울대병원 약물유해반응 관리센터와 지역약물감시센터가 공동으로 일반인들을 대상으로 '약물유해반응 경험 및 인식도 조사'를 한 결과 우리나라 성인 10명 중 2명은 의약품 부작용을 직접 경험하고도 적극적으로 조치하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 또 약물유해반응으로 인해 조취를 취한 경우는 20.8%에 그쳐 의약품 부작용에 관한 홍보가 절실한 것으로 드러난다.

술후 통증관리를 위해 많은 새로운 약물과 기술이 도입되고 특히 최근에는 intraspinal narcotics나 PCA방법의 많은 발달에 의해 많은 발전을 가져왔다. 그러나 통증자체가 신체적으로 정신적으로 여러 가지 복합적인 인자가 개제되어 있기때문에 사용되는 약물의 임상약리의 이해와 계속적인 새로운 기술의 개발이 적절한 통증관리의 방침을 수립할 수 있을 것이다.

의료기관에서 접근이 용이한 마약류 약물로 오남용하는 사례가 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이를 해결하고자 본 논문은 블록체인 프레임워크인 하이퍼레저 패브릭을 기반으로 구축된 약물 오남용 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 하이퍼레저 패브릭의 분산 원장 기능을 사용하면 의약품 거래를 투명하게 기록하고 처방 기록을 안전하게 보존하여 모든 거래 세부 정보를 변조할 수 없게 된다. 또한 약물 사용 기록을 추적하고 남용을 방지하기 위해 과다 복용 사용자를 규제하는 기능을 제안한다. 본 논문이 약물 오용을 크게 완화하고 과다 복용 사용자 보호가 가능할 것이라 기대한다.
