바야흐로 가을야구의 시즌이 다가왔다. 제2의 황금기를 맞은 한국프로야구의 인기는 날로 높아져 하늘을 찌를 기세다. 최근 몇 년간 이러한 분위기에 힘입어 직접 야구를 플레이하고자 '아마추어 사회인 야구'에 입문하는 사람들이 속속 늘어나고 있다. 사회인 야구는 전문선수가 아닌 일반 성인층으로 구성된 야구경기를 지칭한다. 참여하는 연령층도 다양하고 즐거운 취미생활과 건강관리를 동시에 할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

This study proposes an effective direction for operating the "Korea Baseball of Fame" based on baseball records. To clarify problems, a literature review on the case analysis of the "Hall of Fame" of the United States and Japan, an assortment and management of Korean baseball records, and a consultation with officials who work in the baseball industry were progressed. In conclusion, this study suggested building an archive database to operate the "Korea Baseball Hall of Fame" effectively. First, archives will be collected, and then managed and utilized at the "Korea Baseball Hall of Fame." Second, to preserve the memories of baseball heroes, an oral archive will be constructed. Third, baseball records will be assorted and stored in a database.

본 논문은 한국에서 야구에 관련 직무에 종사하는 사람 또는 야구를 배우고 싶은 사람에게 도움을 주고자 Kinect의 모션 인식 센서를 이용하여 자세인식에 관련 된 연구 내용이다. 야구를 배우고자 하는 사람들에게 자세에 대한 교정과 자신이 직접 자신의 자세를 보면서 활용할 수 있도록 하는 것이 궁극적 목표이며 프로그램의 제작자의 개입이 없이 사용자가 주제가 될 수 있도록 한다. Kinect에서의 야구 자세를 저장하여 자신의 모습과 비교하여 자세에 대한 피드백을 받을 수 있다. 이 프로그램을 통해 사람들이 좀 더 야구에 대해 쉽게 접근하고 이용할 수 있음이 프로그램의 구현 방향이며 야구를 접하는 사람들에게 자세 부분에 도움을 주고 야구를 즐기는 사람들도 도움을 얻는 기대효과를 가지는 프로그램이다.

출범 30주년을 맞은 국내 프로야구가 600만 관중을 넘어섰다. 국내 프로야구의 인기가 그만큼 높으며 식을 줄을 모른다.[7] 하지만 많은 선수와 복잡한 규칙은 새로운 야구팬을 주춤하게 만든다. 본 논문을 통하여 필자는 새로운 방식의 야구선수 분석 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 새로운 방식의 야구선수 분석 방법은 쉽고 간단하게 야구선수들의 특성을 분석하여 표현할 것이며, 야구를 좋아하고자 하는 사람들은 조금 더 쉽게 다가갈 수 있을 것이다.

"야구에서 홈런을 치려면 야구 방망이 끝으로부터 13cm에서 17cm 사이로 공을 쳐야 한다." 이것은 야구에 관심이 많은 시드니대학 크로스박사의 연구결과이다. 베트에 야구공이 맞을 때의 진동을 실험한 끝에 얻은 이 결론은 "미국 물리저널"에 게재되어 야구계의 관심을 모으고 있다.

Among lots of sabermetric statistics for baseball batters' ability, the wins above replacement (WAR) is the most popular statistic in MLB. However, there exists a difficulty applying WAR to KBO, since KBO data do not have position adjustment, league adjustment and park factor which are essential in calculating WAR. In this paper, using five statistics for both KBO and MLB qualified batters, we propose hitting ability index (HAI), an alternative sabermetric indices to represent batters' ability. Comparing HAI with WAR of MLB batters, we evaluate the validity of HAI and then applied HAI to 2015 KBO data in which HAI is analyzed statistically with respect to different teams, ages, and positions. Moreover, the linear relationship between KBO batter's HAI and their annual salary is discussed. Grouping 46 KBO batters based on confidence region of the regression model for annual salary, we also statistically investigate batter's annual salary in these groups with respect to several factors.

Fielding Independent Pitching (FIP) is a statistic that measure pitcher performance by eliminating plate appearance outcomes that involve defensive play. FIP uses pitcher dependent outcomes such that walks, strikeouts, hit by pitches, and home runs allowed. The FIP equation derived from linear weights uses three coefficients 13, 3, -2 for evaluating Major League Baseball pitchers. However, these coefficients derived from run value of major league baseball are not suitable to Korea Baseball Organization pitchers due to baseball circumstances. In this study, new FIP called kFIP for Korea Baseball Organization pitchers are provided. We recalculate coefficients and get 14, 3, -1 for evaluating Korean Baseball pitchers. As a result, kFIP is statistically significantly better than FIP at predicting pitcher ERA in KBO League.

Recently, the popularity of professional baseball is increasing day by day, and it has data related to professional baseball on various portal sites. If you want to increase the popularity of professional baseball and produce results through analysis using relevant data, you have the advantage of accessing professional baseball. In this paper, three analyzes were conducted using data related to professional baseball. Therefore, in this paper, the trend related to the number of articles retrieved from a specific site of a professional baseball team was examined, and the correlation between professional baseball scores and the number of spectators was analyzed. Finally, we analyzed the current status of professional baseball batting average and on base percentage in 2016 and 2017.

관람석에서 바비큐를 먹으며 경기를 보거나 좀더 가까이 선수들을 볼 수 있는 야구장. 탁 트인 구장으로 경기장 밖에서도 선수들과 관중들을 보면서 함께 즐길 수 있는 야구장. 야구팬들이라면 누구나 미국 메이저리그 야구장에서만 볼 수 있는 풍경을 국내에서도 볼 수 있기를 꿈꾸었을 것이다. 최근 그 꿈이 실현됐다. 바로 지난 3월 19일 시범경기 개막전을 치른 '대구삼성라이온즈파크' 야구장이다. 미국 메이저리그 필라델피아 필리스의 홈구장인 '시티즌스뱅크파크'의 모양을 벤치마킹한 '대구삼성라이온즈파크' 야구장은 국내 최초로 팔각형으로 설계돼 넓은 관람공간과 탁 트인 시야가 특징이다. 지난 2012년 12월 첫 삽을 뜬 후 40여 개월 만에 총사업비 1,666억원을 투입해 지난 3월 완공되었다. '대구삼성라이온즈파크'는 야구 명문인 대구 경북의 자긍심과 함께 대구의 새로운 랜드마크로 자리매김하며 도시브랜드 향상과 더불어 시민들의 놀이, 휴식공간, 나아가 전국의 야구팬들이 찾고 싶은 관광 명소가 될 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다. 대구광역시 수성구 연호동에 위치한 대구삼성라이온즈파크는 (주)대우건설컨소시엄이 종합 시공을, (주)백산이엔씨가 냉 난방, 위생, 소방 등 기계설비를 시공했다. 본지는 준공 후 마무리 작업이 한창인 지난 3월 중순 대구삼성라이온즈 파크 현장에서 (주)대우건설 금현철 현장소장과 (주)백산이엔씨(대표 김주환) 김재화 현장소장을 만났다.

야구는 흔히 기록의 스포츠라는 별명으로 많이 불린다. 그만큼 야구라는 운동이 갖는 기록의 종류는 무척 다양하고 또한 기록의 활용 가능성 역시 무궁무진하다. 이러한 별명에 걸맞게 미국에서는 야구에 대한 다양하고 방대한 정보를 수집하고 활용하고 있다. 그러나 한국 프로야구에 대한 정보의 수집과 활용은 아직까지 크게 부각되지 못하는 것이 현실이다. 랜덤 포레스트 기법을 이용하여 경기의 승부를 예측함으로써 한국 프로야구 데이터의 수집과 활용을 증대 시키는 효과를 기대 해 본다. 본 논문에서는 2014년 한국 프로야구의 승부 예측을 주제로 어떠한 누적 스포츠 데이터집단이 가장 유효한지를 실험 하였다. 승부 예측을 하기위해 사용된 누적 스포츠 데이터는 2014년 선수와 팀 기록, 2013부터 2014년까지의 선수와 팀 기록, 2012년부터 2014년까지의 선수와 팀 기록이다. 이들 세 그룹의 데이터를 이용하여 이분데이터 모형에 랜덤 포레스트 기법을 사용한 승부예측 알고리즘에 적용 시킨 후 어느 그룹의 데이터가 가장 실제 2014 한국 프로야구 정기결과와 맞을 확률이 높음을 구하여 가장 유용한 데이터 그룹이 어떤 그룹인지 연구 하였다.
