The present investigation confirms the zoonotic significance of Microspoum canis infection in five patients who had direct contact with diseased dogs and cats. Typical ringworm type lesions were mainly encountered on the exposed areas of the body. M. canis was isolated from the cutaneous lesions of man ana infected pets ; and also directly demonstrated in skin materials. However, the fungus could neither be recovered from the non-contact group nor from the saprobic environment. The isolates from man, dog, and cat showed similar gross as well as microscopic morphology. Further genetic studies so indicated that all the human and animal isolates of M. canis were(-) mating type. It is believed that transmission of zoophilic dermatophytes from animal to man occurs more commonly with direct exposure. In addition, the epidemiology and preventive measures are also discussed.

The current companion animal registration system is based on implanting microchip into animal body. Thus, the maintenance cost is high, and it may cause dangerous effect on the animal health. Moreover, it is very inconvenient in utilizing the information. This paper presents a pet registration and information providing system based on QR code for low cost and convenience in field application. The owner can simply register pet information on the web server, print the QR code and attach it to the pet. Any person can scan the QR code by smart phone, identify the information, and call the owner directly.

In this paper, we describe about interactive electronic book utilizing tabletop display interface and digi-pet. Because of this system can define a lot of gestures using touch point of finger, help that user experiences electronic book effectively more than existent input device. Also, support 1 users in 1 input device in existent mode, but this system can expect various effect because support Multi-user. The digi-pet(digital pet) is physical tools that convey emotion between tabletop display platform and user. And this shows various results acting as assistance because becomes master of story of imagination and participate directly on talk and makes change of story. In this paper, we described about oriented electronic book system the future that combines tabletop display and Digi-pet. This system is expected that the usefulness is increased by leaps and bounds along with technology development forward.

최근 애완견을 키우는 가정이 늘고 있다. 하지만 여러 가지 개인 사정들로 인하여 애완견이 집에 혼자 있게 되고 사료를 챙겨주기 어려운 경우가 있다. 이로 인해 강아지 호텔 등의 대책들이 나오고 있지만 그에 따른 문제점 또한 적지 않게 나타나고 있다. 현재 우리나라는 스마트 폰 보급률이 급성장하면서 현재 세계 스마트 폰 보급률 1위를 차지하고 있다. 이를 배경으로 본 논문에서는 스마트 폰의 어플리케이션을 통하여 원격으로 애완견에게 사료를 공급해줄 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

알러젠은 크게 옥외 알러젠과 옥내 알러젠으로 중요하게 취급되는 종류로는 집먼지, 집먼지 진드기, 바퀴류, 애완동물의 털이나 분비물 등이 알려져 있다. 이 가운데 바퀴류는 곤충강(class insecta)의 직시목(Order Orthoptera)에 속하는 종으로 아프리카 에티오피아에서 기원하여 무역의 발달과 더불어 유럽, 아시아, 아메리카 대륙 등으로 전파된 것으로 알려져 있으며, 4000여종의 바퀴중 30여종이 사람과 함께 집에서 살고 있다. 본 총설에서느 바퀴류의 생태 및 공통항원과 종특이항원에 대하여 간략하게 언급하였다.
