  • 문화 기호는 민족 문화를 이해하고 특성을 분석하는 효과적인 방법이다. 중국에서 민족 문화 정체성에 대한 분석은 중화 민족 화합을 위한 중요한 자료로 활용된다. 이에, 본 논문은 <채운남(彩云南), 2009> 애니메이션 속 문화 기호 정체성의 표현에 대한 분석을 통해 민족문화 정체성을 고찰하고자 한다. 이를 통해, 다양한 민족 간 유대감과 소속감을 유도할 수 있는 기초 학술자료가 되리나 기대한다.

  • 학교의 상징인 독수리를 근거로 하여 13학부를 나타내는 13마리의 독수리 가족 (가족명 : 즈믄수리) 의3차원 캐릭터와 애니메이션을 제작했다. 각 학부의 구성원들에게 특징이 되는 사물과 색깔 등을 설문조사하여 자료를 수집하고 학교의 대표 성격인 벤처정신으로 나타내도록 독수리 가족을 디자인하고 Soft Image 로 모델링하여 애니메이션 작업을 수행했다. 즈믄수리 ; 천(1000)을 뜻하는 '즈믄'과 독수리를 뜻하는 '수리'의 합성어로 '새천년에 태어난 독수리'라는 뜻을 가지고 있다. 새로운 천년에 태어나 호서대학교의 희망과 비전을 상징하는 이름이다. 13개 학부 캐릭터 모두를 통칭하는 가족의 이름으로 불린다.

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 교육매체에 익숙해져 있는 유아를 대상으로 하는 웹기반 환경교육용 2D 애니메이션을 설계하였다. 유아들에게 환경오염의 심각성을 일깨우고, 지속적인 환경교육을 통한 교육 효과의 질적 향상을 위하여 유치원에서 환경교육 자료로 활용될 수 있도록 설계하였다. 환경오염 중에서 토양오염을 주제로 애니메이션을 제작하고 내레이션을 통하여 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 구현하였다.

Analysis of the use status of animation contents in Over The Top service (Over The Top 서비스의 애니메이션 콘텐츠 이용 현황 분석)

  • This study analyzed the factors that viewers consider when watching anime on Over The Top(OTT) service platforms and the characteristics of each type of preference, which are the components of anime preference. To this end, the survey data of 240 animation major students were used for analysis, and the conclusions drawn through frequency analysis and cross-tabulation of IBM SPSS Statistics 27 are as follows. Netflix is the OTT service platform that viewers use the most, and TV series are the most preferred for animation works. In addition, it was found that Netflix OTT original animation works were preferred over other platforms, and long-form animation preferred Disney+. Among the characteristics of each type of animation preference, it was found that the factors considered when watching animation in terms of narrative value, aesthetic value, and entertainment value respectively value the structure, screen production, and immersion of the storyline. It is hoped that this study will be used as useful data for producing animation contents with the OTT service platform.

  • With the development of computer technology, the multimedia mediums that allow for animated videos, conversational illustrations are increasingly receiving attention for materials for educational purposes. Accordingly, there is a need to research whether multimedia resources and material is more effective compared to traditional educational material and resources. This study aims to compare traditional English reading and writing learning methods with learning methods using educational multimedia mediums such as illustrations or animation. Students were divided into a experimental group and a control group, and during 6 months the groups were exposed to different educational resources and on the basis of student evaluation feedback and grades, a new approach to English education is offered.

  • According to Korea Socity of Cartoon&Animation studies research material, consumer's preference degree about animation genre answered that investigation target's 50% is doing basis in interest. Animation has various factor of interest induction, but we can count as person's action scene among them.   • 아주 오래전부터 우리 인류에게 영향을 미친것 중 두가지는 "새로운 시각을 표현하려는 것" 과 "지속적인 영상 신기술 개발" 일 것이다. 본 논문은 사이버 공간상에서 시각화 기법과 애니메이션 기법을 사용하여 컴퓨터와 인간사이에서 발생할 수 있는 가시화(Visualization), 조작화(Manipulation), 상호작용(Interaction) 등의 기술을 제공해서 사용자들이 흥미를 갖는 가상적 사이버 공룡 시스템을 제안한다. 사이버 공룡 시스템 구성은 "공룡 퍼즐 맞추기", "공룡애니메이션", "공룡 이름 맞추기", "공룡 그림 맞추기", "공룡 그리기", "공룡 그려보자",로 구성되어 있으며, 보조 버튼으로 "공룡 캐릭터", "공룡 아이콘", "공룡 원시자료"로 되어 있다. 본 시스템은 Java와 JavaScript를 이용해서 구현했으며, 사용자가 직접 공룡 자료를 제어하면서 컴퓨터와 인간 사이에서 발생할 수 있는 시각화 등을 디지털 애니메이션 기법을 이용해서 해결하고 데이테 베이스화 했다.

Development of Animation Materials for a Unit related to (중학교 화학전지에 관련된 동영상교수 자료의 개발 및 교육적 효과에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the educational effects of an animation materials developed with the macroscopic particle moving sight. The 11 animations developed by the researchers showed the movements of molecules, ions, and electrons. The materials were developed for teachers to use when they taught "electrochemical cell' unit. The subjects were 151 students of 9th grade who were divided into the experimental and control group and were taught during 16 hours. In order to figure out the characteristics of each student before the instructions, a short-version GALT(Group Assessment of Logical Thinking) and the pretest of conceptions were carried out. After the instructions, students tested 3 types of exam; the posttest of conceptions, attitude test connected with science, cognition test. After 4 months later, students tested the posttest of conceptions agin for long-term memory effect. It was found that the exper-imental group using the developed animation materials had significantly higher scores of conceptual understanding than control group. The experimental group had also significantly higher scores of the long-term memory test and attitude test than control group. The results mean that animation materials which shows the macroscopic particle movement help stu-dents to understand scientific concepts and to elevate interests.

  • Digital character rigging is an important technology to improve animation vividness, and there are many kinds of complex ways of rigging system. To move naturally, the fish are tested for movement. Because 2,4 family role information although some, but the study of fish (0 family) action information is not much. As the diversity and complexity of fish production increases, inefficient time and capital are required. How to build a fish-like skeleton system depends on how to build an efficient and agile rigging program. The aim of this study is to compare the Advanced Skeleton-based animation process with Maya Rig, which can solve the high time-cost rigging problem, and to explore the best automatic plug-in based on the advantages of Advanced Skeleton, broadening the research scope of fish animation.

Animation Character Preference According to Age and Gender of Children (유아의 연령과 성에 따른 애니메이션 캐릭터 선호도)

  • This study was designed to investigate and analyze children's preference on animation characters according to age and gender of the subjects, by surveying 255 children aged from 3 to 5. The animation characters were represented in pictures, and the reasons of preference were collected through individual interview with the children. The $x^2$ verification of SPSS 18.0 Window statistic program was used to verify the difference in preference. As a result, children aged from 3 to 5 showed higher preference on animations produced in foreign countries than the ones produced in Korea, as Korean animations and foreign-country animations had preference rate of 35.7% and 64.3%, and Korean characters and foreign-country characters had preference rate of 22.4% and 77.6% respectively. Depending on the age of children, there was significant difference among animation characters that the children prefer ($x^2=302.474^{***}$, P<.001), and it was shown that children at the age of 3 showed preference on 'Pororo' of Pororo the Little Penguin, children at the age of 4 on 'Tayo' of Tayo the Little Bus and 'Amu' of Shugo Chara, and children at the age of 5 on 'Shin Chan' of Crayon Shin Chan. It was also revealed that there was significant difference among animation characters according to the gender of children ($x^2=120.864^{***}$, P<.001); boys preferred 'Pororo' of Pororo the Little Penguin the most, followed by 'Doraemon' of Doraemon, 'Thomas' of Thomas and Friends and 'Tayo' of Tayo the Little Bus, and girls preferred 'Pororo' of Pororo the Little Penguin the most, followed by 'Apple' of Little Princess, 'Amu' of Shugo Chara and 'Loopy' of Pororo the Little Penguin. Through this study, it is hoped that the development of children animation would advance further, and that this study could be used as the preliminary resource.
