카탈로그 구매자들의 구매자 성향, 애고 동기, 애고 행동에 관한 성별 차이 연구 (Gender Differences of Mail-Catalog Shoppers in Shopper Tendencies, Patronage Motive Strength, and Patronage Behaviors)

  • 본 논문에서는 카탈로그 구매자들이 의복쇼핑과 관련한 변인에 대하여 성별 차이를 보이는지를 연구하였다. 총 207명의 의류카탈로그 소비자들을 남성그룹 (N=97)과 여성그룹 (N=110)으로 나누어 카탈로그 의복쇼핑과 관련하여 구매자 성향, 애고 동기, 애고 행동을 비교하였다. 여성은 남성보다 유희적, 가격 중시, 편리성 중시 구매자 성 향을 높게 보였다. 여성 소비자들은 남성 에 비해 카탈로그 쇼핑에 대한 전반적인 만족도를 더 높게 나타내었고, 특히 편리성, 용이성, 유희성, 안전성, 경제성 면에서 더 높게 평가하였다. 남성이 여성보다 더 높은 만족도를 나타낸 유일한 항목은 카탈로그의 브랜드 구색이었다. 이처럼 카탈로그 의복쇼핑의 만족도에 관한 성별 차이에도 불구하고 실제로 카탈로그를 통한 의복쇼핑 행동에서는 성별의 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 결론을 바탕으로 의류 카탈로그 업체를 위한 마케팅 전략들이 제안되었다.

여자 고등학생의 색조 화장품 구매 동기, 점포 선택 기준과 정보원이 점포 애고 행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Purchasing Motives, Evaluative Criteria of Store, Information Sources on Store Patronage Behavior of High School Girls for Color Cosmetics)

  • The purposes of this study were to classify shopper types by high-school girls' purchasing motivations of color cosmetics and to examine the effects of store evaluative criteria and information sources on store patronage behaviors. A questionnaire was developed based on the previous studies and was administrated to 534 high-school girls living in Busan High school girls were pursuing to cover and white their faces by using color cosmetics. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, chi-square test, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncantest, and regression analysis using SPSS 12.0. The results showed that they were classified Covering/whitening pursuing groups, Beauty pursuing groups, and Curiosity/conformity pursuing groups by their purchasing motivations of color cosmetics. High school are girls pursuing to cover and white their faces by using color cosmetics, and are were likely to visit low price specialty stores. This is influenced by their experiences and information from their friends or families. Girls using color cosmetics from their curiosity or conformity were likely to shop in low price specialty stores with a good layout and kind salespersons, while they were likely to use general specialty stores when they wanted to exchange and test cosmetics. These findings may provide useful implications for researchers and marketers related to color cosmetics markets of high school girls.

  • The purpose of the study was to identify customer patronage motives of female aged 20 to 29 for fashion specialty stores and purchasing behavior and make comparison of patronage motives and purchasing behavior according to patronage groups as determined by level of patronizing fashion specialty stores. The subjects were females aged 20 to 29, owned at least one fashion speciality store charge card, and resided in Seoul. A questionnaire was developed by the researcher and distributed to 450 females. A sample of 409 females responded to the questionnaire. Frequency count and percentage, factor analysis, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's test were used for statistical analysis. The respondents were classified into three groups (high, middle, low patronage groups) according to the level of patronizing fashion specialty stores. In patronage motives, the high patronage group rated store attributes, service and merchandise assortment important. The middle patronage group considered merchandise assortment and convenience of shopping and payment important. The low patronage group regarded service important. In buying behavior, the high patronage group showed a strong orientation of planned purchase and impulse buying by merchandise. The middle patronage group had significantly a strong orientation of impulse buying by sales promotion. The low patronage group showed a strong orientation of planned purchase.
