  • Porous ceramics were fabricated from pressureless powder packing forming method using mullite and cordierite powders granulate by spray drying. The bending strength and shrinkage of porous ceramics were increased and their porosity were decreased with increasing temperature. It showed homogeneous distribution of 2$\mu\textrm{m}$ intergranular pores of mullite at 1400$^{\circ}C$, 2.5$\mu\textrm{m}$ intergranular pores of cordierite at 1300$^{\circ}C$ respedtively. Above that temperature intragranular particles were sintered and sintering by intergranular necking was extremely proceeded. In the test of thermal shock resistance sudden decrease of bending strength to $\Delta$T was not shown because intergranular large pore prevented sudden crack propagation.

  • The characteristics of free spray with ultra injection pressure was analyzed to clear the limit pressure of diesel engine. To obtain final goal, ultra high pressure injection equipment was developed, spray patterns were visualized under various ultra injection pressures. Spray penetration and spray width, volume and entrained air mass were increased with the increase of injection pressure. Sauter mean diameter and injection durstion wert decreased. But over 3,000bar of ultra injection pressure region the rates of increase show almost similar and finally the reversed tendencies at 4,140bar.

  • We analyzed the pressure, impulse on 24 sensors location under the foot using the Parolee system. Total 7 kinds of shoes, i.e. sport shoe, high heel shoes (5cm heel, 8cm heel, 13cm heel), platform shoe, inline skate, and heelys were evaluated for 20 normal subjects. Compared with those of sport shoe, greater pressure and impulse were shown on the 1 st phalange and the 1 st metatarsal head and greater impulse on the medial tarsal bone in high-heel shoes. Greater pressure and impulse were shown on medial metatarsal bone and the lateral tarsal bone in platform shoe. Greater impulse was shown on the medial tarsal bone in inline-skate. Heelys shoe showed smaller impulse on the central area of foot. The result of this study is expected to provide useful information about the relationship between the shoe type and the foot pathologies.

  • Impinging spray characteristics were investigated to find suitable injection pressure by using high pressure injection system. Spray radius and spray height were increased continuously until 2,500bar but the rate of enhancement was decreased suddenly over this injection pressure region. It is expected that the maximum suitable injection pressure of impinging spray exists at around 2,500bar.

  • 본 논문은 고속 전동기의 효율 개선을 위한 재료로서 많은 관심을 받고 있는 연자성 분말(Soft Magnetic Composite, SMC)을 적용한 고속 2상 4/2 스위치드 릴럭턴스 전동기 설계 및 SMC 재질이 효율 특성에 미치는 영향 분석에 대한 연구이다. 고속 전동기의 효율 개선을 위한 재료로써 많은 관심을 받고 있는 SMC는 자계적으로 등방성을 띠며, 절연 코팅이 되어 있는 철 분말들로 구성되어 있어 높은 주파수에서 전기 강판 대비 높은 전기 저항으로 와전류 손실을 최소화 할 수 있으며 분말을 압분하여 형상을 만들기 때문에 자유로운 3차원 설계 및 제작이 용이하고 제조 시 재료 소비의 절감과 재활용이 가능한 장점이 있다. 그러나 전기 강판 대비 낮은 비투자율, 낮은 기계적 강도, 저주파 대역에서 높은 철손 특성의 단점을 가지고 있어 SMC를 이용한 전자계 구조 설계 시 낮은 비투자율 특성과 뛰어난 와전류 손실 저감 특성 사이의 균형을 고려할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전기 강판을 사용하는 일반적인 2상 4/2 스위치드 릴럭턴스 전동기와의 비교를 통해 SMC 재질 적용이 정적 토크 및 효율 특성에 미치는 영향을 비교분석하여 설계를 진행하였다.

  • Spray and combustion characteristics were investigated to find suitable injection pressure by using ultra high pressure injection and single shot diesel combustion systems. As injection pressure was increased, spray penetration and spray angle were increased continuously until 2,000bar, but after this injection pressure region the rate of increase was decreased suddenly. Combustion characteristics were also enhanced until 2,000bar of injection pressure.

  • 본 연구에서는 치과용 주조합금의 개발을 위하여 Ni-Cr 및 Ni-Cr-Ti합금을 소결체를 제조하고 기계적 특성 및 표면특성을 조사하였다. Ti원소가 첨가됨에 따라 결정조직의 결정립이 미세화하는 경향을 보였으며 조직이 다르게 나타났다. Ti 원소가 증가할수록 경도는 더욱 높게 나타났으며 Ti가 10 wt. %로 증가되었을 때 경도가 가장 높았다. 또한 압분체, 소결체, 벌크상태 순으로 경도가 증가하였다. 표면의 거칠기와 결합력에서도 Ti의 함유량이 증가함에 따라 개선되었다.

  • In order to analyze the microscopic spray characteristics of free spray in ultra high pressure region, the droplets size and velocity of free spray injected under atmosphere condition were measured by PDPA. As injection pressure became ultra high pressure, the droplets size was decreased continuously due to the increase of mutual reaction between droplets and air. But the decreasing rate became moderate. The velocity was increased until 250 MPa, and then decreased over that of injection pressure. It was seemed that the droplet size was similar in range of $280\~350\;MPa$, but increased in 414 MPa, even though injection pressure was increased. The microscopic spray characteristics of free spray got worse in 414 MPa.

  • 본 연구는 연자성체를 이용한 모터의 성능 향상을 위해서 모터 코어에 자장을 인가하여 성형 하는 방법을 제안 하고 특성에 대한 고찰을 실시하였다. 연자성체의 모터 코어의 성형중에 자장을 인가하여 분말의 배열을 자속의 이동이 쉬운 방향으로 배열하도록 하여 자속 손실을 최소화 하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해서 자장을 인가하기위한 자장 금형의 설계시 고려사항 및 자장 인가 전후의 연자성체의 자기적 특성에 대해 고찰하였다.

  • In order to investigate the droplet size distribution and Sauter Mean Diameter in a ultra high pressure diesel spray, fuel was injected with ultra high pressure into the environments of high pressure and room temperature by an Electronic Hydraulic Fuel Injection System. Droplet size was measured with the immersion liquid sampling technique. The immersion liquid was used a mixture of water-methycellulose solution and ethanol. The Sauter Mean Diameter decreased with increasing injection pressure, with a decrease environmental pressure (back pressure) and nozzle diameter. Increasing the injection pressure makes the fuel density distribution of the spray more homogeneous. An empirical correlation was developed among injection pressure, air density, nozzle diameter and the Sauter Mean Diameter of spray droplets.
