Application of the Unstructured Finite Element to Longitudinal Vibration Analysis (종방향 진동해석에 비구조적 유한요소 적용)

  • This paper analyzes the continuous Galerkin method for the space-time discretization of wave equation. The method of space-time finite elements enables the simple solution than the usual finite element analysis with discretization in space only. We present a discretization technique in which finite element approximations are used in time and space simultaneously for a relatively large time period called a time slab. The weighted residual process is used to formulate a finite element method for a space-time domain. Instability is caused by a too large time step in successive time steps. A stability problem is described and some investigations for chosen types of rectangular space-time finite elements are carried out. Some numerical examples prove the efficiency of the described method under determined limitations.

  • 이 논문에서는 매개변수(parameter)들이 시간에 따라 변하는 선형 시변 시스템(linear time-varying system)에서 시스템의 안정도(stability)를 보장할 수 있는 매개변수들의 변동영역(perturbation region of parameters)에 대한 충분조건을 시간영역에서 Lyapunov 방법을 사용하여 구하였다. 그리고 이 충분조건을 만족하는 매개변수 변동영역을 비선형 계획법(nonlinear programing)을 이용하여 구하는 방법을 제시하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 이 방법으로 지금까지 이루어져 왔던 다른 연구 결과들보다 더 넓고 다양한 매개변수 변동영역을 구할 수 있었다.

비압축성 점성유체의 유한요소 해석

  • 본 고에서는 비압축성 점성유체의 유한요소해석 기법을 소개하였다. 대류항의 상류화 기법으로 안정된 해를 도출할 수 있으며 Penalty 방법에 기반하여 압력항을 지배방정식으로부터 소거함으로써 해석시간과 요구저장공간을 감소시켰다. 실린더 주변의 유동장을 해석하여 와의 방출을 성공적으로 묘사하였으며 항력계수를 17%정도의 오차로 계산하였다. 적응적 요소세분화 기법에 대한 연구를 통해 적절한 오차평가 기법 및 최적의 체눈을 형성하는 기법을 제시하였다. 또한 동적 해석에 적합한 요소재결합 알고리즘에 대한 연구가 진행중이다. 본 고의 결과는 직접적으로 풍공학분야에 사용하기에는 아직 계산 시간의 효율성이나 해의 정확도 및 안정성면에서 무리가 있으나 추가적인 연구를 통하여 해석기법의 개선을 도모하고 컴퓨터 등 계산장비의 급속한 발전으로 장래에 경쟁력을 획득할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Preparation and Animal Imaging of $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP as a Bone Seeking Radiopharmaceutical (골친화성 방사성의약품 $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP의 합성과 동물영상)

  • Purpose: Ethylenediamine-tetramethylenephosphonic acid (EDTMP) has widely used chelator for the labeling of bone seeking radiopharmaceuticals complexed with radiometals. $^{153}Sm$ can be produced by the HANARO reactor at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, Taejon, Korea. $^{153}Sm$ has favourable radiation characteristics $T1/2=46.7\;h,\;{\beta}_{max}=0.81\;MeV\;(20%),\;0.71\;MeV\;(49%),\;0.64\;MeV\;(30%)\;and\;{\gamma}=103\;keV\;(30%)$ emission which is suitable for imaging purposes during therapy. We investigated the labeling condition of $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP and imaging of $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP in normal rats. Materials and methods: EDTMP 20 mg was solved in 0.1 mL 2 M NaOH. $^{153}SmCl^3$ was added to EDTMP solution and pH of the reaction mixtures was adjusted to 3 and 12, respectively. Radiochemical purity was determined with paper chromatography. After 30 min. reaction, reaction mixtures were neutralized to pH 7.4, and the stability was estimated upto 120 hrs. Imaging studies of each reaction were perfomed in normal rats (37 MBq/0.1 mL). Results: The labeling yield of $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP was 99%. The stability of pH 8 reaction at 60, 96 and 120 hr was 99%, 95%, 89% and that of pH 12 at 36, 60, 96 and 120 hr was 99%, 95%, 88%, 66%, respectively. The $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP showed constantly higher bone uptake from 2 to 48 hr after injection. Conclusion: $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP, labeled at pH 8 reaction condition, has been stably maintained. Image of $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP at 2, 24, 48 hr after injection, demonstrate that $^{153}Sm$-EDTMP is a good bone seeking radiopharmaceuticals.

  • To study the photoperiodic affect on agronomic traits of wheat and barley this experiment was conducted under green house with 25 winter wheat. 25 barley. and 21 naked barley varieties. The data suggested that (1) short-culm varieties such as Ephrat, Combine, and Roussalka in wheat and Haganemugi, Musasinomugi and Yongweolyugag in barley, and Wasehadaka, Ichiwase and Cho-chinryac in naked barley (2) early-matured varieties such as Chukoku #81, Suweon #185 and Sekidori #66 in wheat, CI 07296, Olbori and Haganemugi in barley and Wasehadaka, Nagasaki and Kochiwase-hadaka in naked barley and (3) high-yielding potential varieties such as Shinkwang, Backa and Yukseung #3 in wheat, Jecheon #5, CI 07296 and Siyogimugi in barley and Wasehadaka. CI 09867 and Tawungmia 02 in naked barley could be used for breeding materials because of their super-characters and insensitivities to daylength.

  • 사석구조물의 안정성에 관한 많은 연구성과가 보고되어 왔지만 안정성 변화의 주요 원인에 대한 정량적인 평가는 아직도 미흡한 실정이다. 특히 불규칙 해파의 통계적 특성과 파군 및 고파의 지속시간 등의 외력특성에 대한 영향은 Ryu and Sawaragi (1986)나 Van der meer(1986) 등에 의해 검토된바 있지만 종합적으로 평가한 예는 찾아보기 힘들다. 또한 구조물의 건설장소, 구조물의 제원 및 시공방법 등에 따라 안정성은 크게 변화하므로 이들의 영향을 보다 체계적으로 평가할 수 있는 설계algorithm이 요구되고 있다. The Difference in Tear Film Stability between Normal and Dry Eyes by Wearing Clear and Circle Contact Lenses made of the Same Materials (동일 재질의 투명 및 써클콘택트렌즈 착용 시 정상안과 건성안의 눈물막 안정성 차이)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the difference in tear film stability according to the wearing time when wearing clear and circle soft contact lens(circle lens) made of same material. Methods: The clear and circle contact lenses of hilafilcon B and nelfilcon A materials were respectively applied on the subjects classified as normal and dry eyes depending on their tear volume, and their tear film stability was investigated by measuring the non-invasive tear film break-up times, lens centration and the first appearing area of tear breakup after 30 mins and 6 hrs of lens wearing. Results: Non-invasive tear film breakup time significantly reduced with increase of the wearing time for normal and dry eyes when wearing clear and circle contact lenses. The starting ratio of tear film break-up was higher at the peripheral area of clear and circle lenses in all two different materials, and higher at the peripheral area of dry eyes than normal eyes. Starting ratio of tear film break-up was higher at the peripheral area of nelfilcon A lenses compared with hilafilcon B lenses, however, its change with the increase of wearing time showed a different aspect. The number of tear film break-up per unit area when wearing circle lenses of nelfilcon A increased at the central area with the wearing time while its number was higher at the peripheral area when wearing circle lenses of hilafilcon B. The centration of clear lenses made of two materials was closer to pupil compared to circle lenses with the increase of wearing time, however, a larger decentration was shown in dry eyes compared with normal eyes. Conclusions: The research revealed that an effect on tear film stability may be changed by clear lenses as well as circle lenses with coloring process according to the increase of wearing time, and the factors affecting on tear film stability may also vary depending on lens materials. Thus, the appropriate lenses should be selected by the consideration of lens material as well as coloring method/dyes according to the wearers' habit such as daily wearing time and wearing period when trying to wear clear and circle lenses.

  • 본 논문은 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템의 안정도 분석 및 제어기 설계에 대해서 논의한다. 네트워크 상에서 발생하는 뉴트럴 타입 시간 지연을 모델링하며, 전체 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템은 뉴트럴 타입 시간 지연을 가지는 비선형 시스템이 된다. 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템을 타카기-수게노 (Takagi-Sugeno) 퍼지 시스템으로 모델링한다. 제안하는 퍼지 제어기를 모델링하는 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템과 같은 멤버쉽 함수를 가지게 설계한다. 전체 폐루프 시스템의 안정도를 시간 지연 간격에 종속적이게 분석하고, 뉴트럴 퍼지 시스템을 안정화 시키는 퍼지 제어기 설계를 위한 충분 조건을 유도한다. 제안된 필요 충분 조건을 선형 행렬 부등식의 형태로 나타내고, 해를 통하여 퍼지 제어기의 이득값을 설계한다. 예제를 통하여 제안된 이론의 타당성을 확인한다.

  • Stability and accuracy for the trapezoidal rule of the Newmark time integration method are analyzed when variable time step sizes are adopted. A new analytic approach to stability and accuracy analysis is also proposed for time integration methods with variable time step sizes. The trapezoidal rule with variable time step sizes has the "actual" unconditional stability which is the same as that of the method with constant time step sizes. However, the method with variable time step sizes is first-order accurate while the method with constant time step sizes is second-order accurate. accurate.
