제한수역에서의 항행선박 항과거리에 관한 연구(II)

  • 선박운항자는 주위의 통항하는 선박과 적절한 거리를 두고 항과를 하고 있다. 지금까지는 30년전의 외국 자료를 이용하여 해상교통안전진단제도의 중요한 평가 지표로 우리나라에서 사용되고 있다. 또한 항과 거리에 대한 이전 연구에서는 선박 종류, 시정 등과 같은 외부 요인에 관계없이 항과거리가 조사되어 사용되고 있다. 하지만 선박운항자의 안전의식에는 외부 요인에 의하여 안전 의식에 상당한 차이가 있을 것으로 사료되며 이에 대한 분석이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 이 분석 결과를 이용하여 제한수역에서의 선박 항과거리에 대한 가이드라인을 책정하여 해상교통관제에 이용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • The aim if the present research is to develop a guideline if a safe conducting distance according to separated distance and velocity if the two vessels to navigate safely in restricted waterways. The authors studied the hydrodynamic forces between two vessels running closely and calculated safe conducting distances according to separated distances and speeds if the vessels under the condition if wind and strong current.

Measurement of Maneuverability in the Restricted Area by Numerical Model Ship (수치 모형선에 의한 제한수역에서의 조종성능 측정)

  • The ship maneuverability is changed by the effects of the bank cushion and the squat in the restricted water area. It is difficult to test the ship maneuverability by the real ship in the restricted water area because of ship's safety. In this study, a numerical model ship was used to simulate the ship's motion and to get information about the bank cushion and the squat in the restricted water area. The less apart from the quay the ship ran, the more ship's heading changed. The greatest change of ship's heading was $22.37^{\circ}$ when a ratio of the length between ship and quay to ship's breadh(=D/B) was 0.2. The squat of the ship was greater in shallower water and at faster speed. The greatest squat was 0.29m when a ratio of water depth to ship's draft(H/d) was 1.25 and ship's speed was 8 knots, the reduced speed was found to be the most important factor in the shallow water area for safety of the ship.

A Study on the Effect of Designated Domestic Traffic Separation Scheme(TSS) -Focused on the Marine Casualty & the Marine Traffic Flow- (국내 통항분리수역 설치 효과에 관한 연구 -해양사고 및 해상교통흐름을 중심으로-)

  • The "ship's routeing" system was adopted by IMO and has been operated on the major sea routes of all over the world for the prevention of marine casualty and the improvement of marine traffic flow. Thereupon, also in Korea, the "Hong-do" and "Bogil-do" sea routes on southern coast were designated to mandatory sea area by traffic separation scheme(TSS) in 2003, and the "Geomun-do" sea route on southern coast was designated in 2005. But there were few or no studies on the effect of designated traffic separation scheme in Korea. For this reason, in this paper, we evaluated the contribution of traffic separation scheme to the prevention of marine casualty and the improvement of marine traffic flow after designation of domestic traffic separation scheme using data of the marine casualties and ship's tracks from AIS information. The results of evaluation showed that on the contrary, the cases of marine casualties were increased on some sea routes and regular traffic flows were disturbed by some vessels after designation of traffic separation scheme. For the safer and better sea routes, alternative ideas such as reposition of ship's routing on "Hong-do" and "Bogil-do" sea areas were suggested.

감천항 항해장비불량선박 및 시야제한선박의 안전도선

  • 부산항 내의 3대 주요 항만인 감천항에는 일반화물선으로부터 어선, 수리를 위해 기항하는 선박 등 다양한 선종과 상태의 선박이 감천항 방파제와 두도(頭島) 부근의 좁은 수역을 통과하여 입출항하고 있는데, 장비가 불량하거나 선체 구조물 또는 기타의 이유로 운항자의 시야를 제한하는 선박들이 방파제와 두도 부근에서 조우할 경우 충돌, 좌초 등의 해양사고 발생 가능성이 증가하게 된다. 본 연구를 통하여 감천항을 기항하는 항해장비불량선박 및 시야 제한 선박의 실례에 대하여 설명하고, 해당 선박의 안전도선을 위한 방안을 모색하고, 후속연구의 필요성을 강조하고자 한다.

The Characteristics of Spatio-Temporal Distribution on Phytoplankton in the Nakdong River Estuary, during 2013-2015 (낙동강 하구역에서 2013-2015년 식물플랑크톤의 시·공간분포 특성)

  • To understand the characteristics of the spatio-temporal distribution of phytoplankton after barrage construction in the Nakdong River Estuary, this study investigated relevant environmental parameters and phytoplankton status based on bi-monthly samples collected from the Nakdong River Estuary itself from February 2013 to December 2015. Environmental parameters did not differ significantly across these years but did vary between zones and seasons. The results suggested that the upper zone was dominated by fresh-water diatoms, green algae, and blue-green algae, whereas the lower zone was mostly dominated by dinoflagellates. The presence of Stephanodiscus spp., Asterionellopsis formosa, and Microcystis spp. in the upper zone was related to the inflow of freshwater discharge by artificial control of dyke gates. The dominant phytoplankton species in this zone were dependent on temperature, wind speed, DIP, and DIN, while those in the lower zone were mostly dependent on nutrients and wind speed. In addition, at the lower zone, there were negative correlations between Prorocentrum donghaiense, DIN, and wind speed, with its abundance being higher during the summer than other seasons. Analysis of temporal variations did not indicate any significant differences in the upper zone but did reveal variations among seasons at the lower zone. Except in 2014, the lower zone could be divided into periods dominated by diatoms (October-April) and dinoflagellates (June-August). These results suggest that the characteristics of the phytoplankton community were influenced by changes in the inflow of freshwater species and nutrients given the difference in the range affected by freshwater discharge.

Assessment of Safe Navigation Including the Effect of Ship-Ship Interaction in Restricted Waterways (제한수역에서 두선박간의 상호간섭력을 포함한 안전항해의 평가)

  • This paper is mainly concerned with the assessment of safe navigation between ships moving each other in restricted waterways. The manoeuvring simulation was conducted parametrically to propose an appropriate sage speed and distance, which is required to avoid sea accident under the different conditions, such as ship-velocity ratios, ship-length ratios, separation and stagger between ships. The manoeuvring characteristics based on this investigation will be very useful for keeping the safety of navigation from the practical point of ships design and traffic control in confined water.

연안수역에서 선박교통 재현프로그램 개발과 그 응용에 관한 연구

  • 현재 우리나라에서 해상 수송은 무역 수 출입의 90%이상을 담당하고 있으며, 지정학적인 측면에서도 많은 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 해상에서의 교통시스템 기능이 안정적으로 유지되고, 더욱 발전되기 위해서 무엇보다 연안 해역에서의 선박 교통에 대한 정확한 이해가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 선박별 항적과 같은 선박 교통의 자료들을 기초로 하여, 우리나라의 각 수역별로 선박 흐름을 재현해 보는 연구를 수행하였다. 구체적으로 선박종류 항로특성 실제교통량 등을 해상 교통의 구성요소별로 분류하고, 자동피항 기능을 포함한 다수 선박간의 흐름을 재현하는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 목포항의 선박교통 자료를 기본으로 시뮬레이션을 실시하여 검증하였다. 또한 개발된 모델을 수역의 교통안전성 예측, 항로내 시설물 설치시 적정성 문제 등에 적용가능한 지를 고려하였다.

울산 현대중공업 해양2공장 H-Dock Gate확장에 따른 해상교통안전진단

  • 울산 현대중공업 해양2공장 H-Dock에서 건조중인 Goliath FPSO의 원활한 입출거를 위하여 기존의 폭 90m인 Dock Gate를 115m로 확장하고, Gate 북측의 기존안벽을 25m 철거하여 신설안벽을 축조하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 H-Dock 전면수역을 이용하는 선박의 통항 안전성을 검증하고, 해상교통현황 조사, 해상교통현황 측정, 해상 이용자 및 전문가 의견수렴을 거쳐 울산항 제1항로를 횡단하여 현대중공업을 입출하는 선박 Block 운반 예부선들의 교통흐름에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 신설안벽의 전면수역인 M정박지에 입출하는 선박들의 통항안전을 확보하기 위한 종합적인 안전대책을 제시한다.
