In this paper some physical evidences indicate that reduced friction occurs in an cryogenic machining process, in which LN2 is applied to the selected cutting zone. LN2 also reduced the tool wear rate to a great extent and elongated the tool life up to four times compared to emulsion cooling.

최근 철도 차량은 안전성, 정시성, 대량 수송성이 우수하여 수송수요가 증가하고 있으며, 열차운행 횟수의 증가와 차량의 고속화로 운행조건이 가혹해짐에 따라 이에 대한 절대적인 안전성과 높은 신뢰성이 요구되고 있다. 철도차량과 같이 반복하중이 연속적으로 작용하는 구조물의 설계에 있어서는 구조물의 사용 환경이나 재료의 피로특성을 최우선의 고려사항으로 간주해야 한다. 실제로 철도차량의 대차 프레임은 맞대기 용접으로 제작되어 있으며, 용접부에서 파손이 발생하고 있다.(중략)

The paper reviews Cronbaha's coefficient to measure a single source of error. On the contrary to classical measurement theory, the generalizability study can be used in the social survey design to calculate Generalizability Index (GI) and Dependability Index (DI) for measuring multiple sources of errors of behavior evaluation. The study proposes application guidelines to implement R:($A{\times}B$) mixed models that are composed of random factor and fixed factor.

본 연구에서는 중소기업에서 품질혁신활동을 추진할 때 정부와 모기업차원에서 지원이 가능한 요소들에 대해 Kano가 제시한 방법의 설문을 활용하여 조사하였다. 이 조사 결과를 Kano 분석과 함께 Timko가 제시한 고객만족계수를 활용하여 분석하여 품질혁신활동을 지원하는 정부와 모기업, 그리고 추진의 주체인 기업 등에 작용하는 매력적 요인과 일원적 요인, 당연적 요인 등을 밝히고자 하였다.

Fatigue life estimation by the theoretical stress concentration factors are, in general, considerably different from test results. And in calculating stress concentration factor, it is very difficult to consider actual geometry and material property which are the notch shapes, imperfections or defects of materials such as porosities inclusions and casting defects, etc. Therefore, the paper deals with the experimental method to find out the more exact stress concentration factors by measuring the strain distributions on each specimen by 3D-ESPI(Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry) System. Then the fatigue lives are compared between theoretical calculations using stress concentration factors determined by 3D-ESPI system and fatigue test results

This paper presents some physical evidences indicating that reduced friction occurs in an cryogenic machining process, in which LN2 is applied selectively in well-controlled jets to the selected cutting zone. In machining tests, cryogenic machining reduced the force component in the feed direction, indicating that the chip slides on the tool rake face with lower friction. This study also found that the effectiveness of LN2 lubrication depends on the approach how LN2 is applied regarding cutting forces related.

휴대용 미사일의 1단과 2단 추진기관은 체결부품에 의하여 연결되어 발사관 내에서 운반되어지며, 발사 시 1단 추진기관이 분리되게 된다. 이때에 분리력은 1단 추진기관의 압력에 의하여 제공되고 체결부품인 4-팁 와셔는 어느 압력 이상을 받으면 추진기관의 1단과 2단을 분리한다. 정적시험을 하여 구한 결과를 해석치 와 비교했으며 실제상황에 유사한 동적 시험을 하여 필요한 안전계수를 구하였다.

This paper describes an analysis of the stress intensity factor (SIF) of the presented cracks in LNG piping. The stress analysis used the Finite Element Method. The stress Intensity factor calculated Raju & Newmann equation and ASME Section XI method. The cracks in the flanges are found to be influenced by temperature, but the cracks of the piping are found not to be influenced by temperature. If the cracks shape in the flanges and the cracks shape of the piping are same each other, the cracks in the flange will be dangerous more than the cracks of the piping.

기계설계에서 설계의 객관적인 계산치의 도출을 통한 설계검증이 중요한 부분이다. 여기서 우리는 기계요소 및 시스템 설계용 CAE소프트웨어를 이용하여 설계 검증을 해봄으로서 보다 객관적이고 명확한 설계 개선 안을 쉽게 도출할 수 있다는 것을 제시하고자 한다. 구체적 사례로 발전소 등의 유량을 조정하는 Hollow let Valve 구동축 부분의 안전계수를 검토하여 설계적 개선안을 도출시키고 설계자가 설계하는 단계에서 미리 문제점을 쉽게 발견하고 개선하는 방법을 연구한 결과를 정리한 내용은 다음과 같다.

타원곡선에 이어 초타원곡선을 공개키 암호시스템에 적용하는 방법이 Koblitz에 의해 제안되었다. 이를 위해 우선 곡선을 선택해야 하는데, 선택될 곡선은 현재까지 알려진 공격에 대해 안전하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 초타원 암호시스템(hyperelliptic cryptosystem을 구성하기 위해 genus 2인 초타원곡선 v2+v=u5+u3+u와 특성계수(characteristic) 3인 기본 체(field)를 선택하고, 이로써 만들어질 암호시스템이 안전함을 보인다.
