Plant growth is regulated by a variety of factors, including organic matter availability. Organic nutrients are carbohydrate molecules from photosynthetic products produced by tissues associated with carbon and energy fixation called "sources". These compounds flow through plant vascular bundles into non-photosynthetic or growing tissues called "sinks". Among these possible compounds, the disaccharide fructosyl glucose, sucrose, is the most representative. During the transport of sucrose, the pathway from the source to the sinks can include hydrolysis of sucrose into glucose and fructose derivatives or direct transfer of sucrose. Among the enzymes involved in this, β-D-fructofuranosidase is the most important. Soluble neutral β-D-fructofuranosidase, one of several isoenzymes, is located in intracellular protoplasts and helps plant cells metabolize sucrose to produce energy. In order to track the activity of this enzyme during the course of plant growth, histological methods were used for the most effective immunolocalization. As a result, the activity was higher in the phloem and epidermis than in the mesophyll tissue in the leaf. In the growing stem, activity was high in the phloem, epidermis, and cortex. The activity of the root, which is a sink tissue, was high in all parts, but especially the highest in the root tip part. It is thought that this is because it helps unloading of sucrose in sink tissues that require sucrose degradation and plays a role in hydrolysising sucrose.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are special network which has purpose of usage for gathering information of certain area and observing situation. WSNs consist of small nodes with sensing event such as temperature, movement or certain objects. The sensor has the capabilities to collect data and route data back to the sink. The sensors route data either to other sensors or back to a sink in one direction. That is, traditional WSNs communicate asymmetrically. However, under the new paradigm of the Internet of Things (IoTs) or Cyber Physical system (CPS), WSNs have potential to be used as important area. So, more research is necessary to communicate with each moving objects symmetrically in WSNs. In this paper, we proposed symmetric communication scheme among mobile objects in wireless sensor network. Simulation results show that our scheme is superior th the existing ones in terms of energy consumption and transmission success ratio.
The main goal of research concerning clustering protocols is to minimize the energy consumption of each node and maximize the network lifetime of wireless sensor networks. However, most existing clustering protocols mainly focused on the design and formation of clusters, leaving the consideration of communication between the cluster head and the sink behind. In this paper, we propose efficient multi path routing algorithm by using MAC-NET Cross-layering. multi path needed only one tiny packet from sink to setup. In addition proposed algorithm can be used for any cluster-based hierarchical inter-clustering routing algorithm. The simulation results demonstrate that proposed algorithm extended the overall survival time of the network by reducing the load of cluster heads. The performance of proposed algorithm is less affected by the extension of sensing field than other inter-clustering operation.

A wireless passive sensor network is a network which, by letting RF sources supply energy to sensor nodes, is - at least theoretically - able to live an eternal life without batteries. Due to the technological immaturity, however, a wireless passive sensor network still has many difficulties; energy scarcity, non-simultaneity of energy reception and data transmission and inefficiency in data transmission occurring at sensor nodes. Considering such practical constraints, in this paper, we propose an elementary MAC scheme supporting many sensor nodes to deliver packets to a sink node. Based on a time structure in which a charging interval for charging capacitors by using received and an acting interval for communicating with a sink node are alternately repeated, the proposed MAC scheme delivers packets to a sink node according to slotted ALOHA. In general, a contention-type scheme tends to exhibit relatively low throughput. Thus, we multilaterally evaluate the throughput performance achieved by the proposed MAC scheme using a simulation method. Simulation results show that the network-wide throughput performance can be enhanced by properly setting the length of acting interval.

In this paper, we propose an energy efficient hybrid MAC protocol for multi-hop wireless sensor networks. The proposed MAC protocol used a hybrid mechanism, in which contention-based MAC protocol and contention free MAC protocol are combined. The sensor nodes located far from the sink node usually send few data packet since they try to send measured data by themselves. So contention-based MAC protocol is useful among them. But other nodes located near sink node usually have lots of data packets since they plays as a relay node. Contention-based MAC protocol among them is not suitable. Using contention-based MAC protocol in heavy data traffic environment, packet collisions and transmission delay may increase. In this paper, slot assignment between sender nodes by sink node is used. The proposed mechanism is efficient in energy and latency. Results showed that our MAC protocol outperformed other protocol in terms of data packet delivery delay and energy consumption.

In this paper, we propose an energy-efficient proactive data dissemination protocol with relatively low delay to cope well with highly mobile sink environments in sensor networks. In order for a dissemination tree to continuously pursue a dynamic sink, we exploit two novel algorithms: forward sink advertisement and distributed fast recovery. In our protocol, the tree is shared with the other slave sinks so that we call it Dynamic Shared Tree (DST) protocol. DST can conserve considerable amount of energy despite maintaining robust connection from all sources to sinks, since tree maintenance of DST is accomplished by just distributed local exchanges. In addition, since the DST is a kindof sink-oriented tree, each source on the DST disseminates data with lower delay along the tree and it also facilitates in-network processing. Through simulations, it is shown that the presented DST is considerably energy-efficient, robust protocol with low delay compared to Directed Diffusion, TTDD, and SEAD, in highly mobile sink environment.
D-MAC protocol is used convergence network, which is designed to connect wireless link between things. This protocol is supported to local data exchange and aggregation among neighbor nodes, and distributed control packet from sink to sensor node. In this paper, we analysis about efficiency of power consumption according to whether or not security authentication of D-MAC in convergence network. If authentication scheme is applied to MAC communication, it is related to power consumption of preamble whether or not with and without authentication process. It is reduced to energy consumption against denial attack of service, when it is applied to authentication. Future work will take the effort to deal with security authentication scheme.

Sensor nodes in Wireless sensor network have limited resources and consume almost all energy to the communication. For its traffic feature as a burst traffic type toward a sink node, it has high probability to network congestion. Network congestion causes packet drops and retransmission of dropped packets draws energy consumption. In particular, the loss of packet that is from the sensor node far away from a sink node requires additional energy consumption by frequent retransmission. This paper presents a traffic control mechanism that determines packet transfer by considering priority of packet and congestion level as well as hop count. Analysis of proposed mechanism by simulation demonstrated that it improved energy efficiency.
