The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean version of the acceptance attitude scale and was to verify the reliability and validity of this scale. Study 1 was developed to acceptance attitude scale. First, we extracted the preliminary questions through literature research and previous studies. And the resulting data of to the open-ended questions and in-depth interviews with 324 college students were selected 24 preliminary questions using the content analysis method. Then through a survey of 355 college students conducted a reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis of the preliminary questions. As a result, 12 item with two sub-factors(externally acceptance, interally acceptance) was extracted. Study 2 was for the validation of the new acceptance attitude scale was conducted online surveys of 328 adults. Conducted a correlation analysis between new acceptance attitude scale and self-esteem, psychological wellbeing, depression, anxiety, fear of negative evaluation were verified for convergent validity. Finally, importance and limitation of this scale development and suggestions for future research are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship experience of social welfare dedicated public officials with clients. To achieve this purpose, we collected data through in-depth interviews with social welfare dedicated public officials, and analysed the data using by phenomenological approach. The results of study are as follows; the clients relationship experiences of social welfare dedicated public officials are figured in the five categories, seven themes and 28 sub-themes. The categories are 'the context of the relationship', 'the subjects of the relationship', 'the impact of the relationship', 'the conditions of the relationship', 'the aspects of the relationship'. Based on these results, we suggested some policies and practice guidelines to consider in order to support the improvement of the relationship between social welfare dedicated public officials.

Korea faces new social needs of community-based service for senior citizen as aging is getting fasten. Targeting elderly people who are beneficiaries of long-term care insurance and caring service, this paper aims to explore decent and proper services for senior citizens in terms of rehabilitation, health improvement and quality of life. Especially this research approaches from the perspective of service providers, including service facilities and care-service givers. Using FGI methods with care-providers and in-depth interviews with community social workers as well as nurses, convergence approaches are explored. As a result, welfare field and nursing practices are clearly divided in the community, so that the convergence education and team work tool would be developed in the near future.

This purpose of the study was to investigate nurses' experience in developing medical supplies. The participants were six nurses, data were collected by open in-depth interviews from January to December, 2016, and analyzed using thematic analysis. Three themes and six sub-themes were identified. Nurse's experience in medical supplies development were 'new challenge for better patient care', 'the reality of nonprofessional beyond compare', and 'difficult but fruitful work'. The participants tried to improve the convenience of nursing work and to minimize the economic burden of patients by medical supplies development. They faced the difficulties as a laymen that a lack of information and knowledge about developing process, but felt worth. Based on these findings, there are necessary for the system and the support of the hospital that can reflect the idea of nurses and education about process on medical supplies development.

The purpose of this study is to understand how Vietnamese migrated women's family members understand cultural differences and to review the causes and types of family conflict during the acculturation. To do this, the researcher interviewed 10 cases which consist of three family members in a case: a Vietnamese migrated woman, her husband and mother in law. Research results are as follows. First, they are three main factors such as different ways to communicate, patriarchic ways of thinking and different ways of daily life which have caused family conflict. The conflict caused has been reinforced by anger and frustration against other family members. However, based on understanding on the preciousness of family and importance of inter-respect, it is still on going to find out the moderate way to manage family conflict among their family members. This study has practical and methodological significances. At policy and practice level, this research stresses on the significance of focusing on the family as a unit to be approached for policy and practice intervention. As the methodological aspect, the research tried to search the relationship among family members in the Vietnamese migrated women's family by including not only a migrated woman but also her husband and mother in law. However, there is a limit as it only focuses on cases which family members could manage the family conflict.

The purpose of this study is to understand the 'search' experiences of adoptive families. To understand their experiences in searching for birth families, the researchers made contacts with adoptive families who had tried the search before, got informed consents from them, and took in-depth interview with each family. The qualitative case study approach was taken to analyze the data collected. Data collected from five adoptive families were employed for within-case analysis and cross-case analysis. The themes emerged from cross-case analysis were 'the awareness of being adopted', 'curiosity explosion', 'the anxious waiting', 'the moment the truth was found', 'Indeed, I'm a real mom', and 'Then, there was a silence'. Based on the results of the study, the policy and practical guidelines to support the search of adoptive families were suggested. Also, the suggestions for the following studies were made to obtain more abundant information beyond the limitations of the study.

The aim of the study was to explore the current status as well as personal views, attitudes, and beliefs regarding daily meal consumption (DM) and food supplement use (FS) in conjunction with the improvement of health condition of the women. Eight focus group interviews were performed and the interview material was condensed systematically with the aim to extract core meanings related to DM, FS, and menopause-associated health. Participants were 40 in number and showed ages ranging from 45 and 60 years with various menopausal status. Current status and beliefs about DM, resources of purchase motivation of FS, types of FS that are currently used, and perceived effects and personal beliefs about FS are discussed. Theme content analysis revealed 3 themes for beliefs about DM, 5 themes for beliefs pertaining FS, and 4 themes for the association between DM and FS. Non-dietary factors such as positive mental attitude and exercise appeared to be also important to maintain good health. The bottom line message from this study may be that proper nutrition through daily meals is essential for good health, while food supplement are used merely to supplement the diet. Findings from this study may deepen our understanding of how women who translate their lifespan through "menopause" perceive the roles and meaning of DM and FS, suggesting health professionals need to monitor and evaluate DM and implement strategies targeting the improvement of daily meal quality of middle and older aged women.

Formation of optical meaning shown in the picture book screen is the original expression method in that it makes you understand properties or characteristics of subjects more easily and faster adding another images to them, exaggerating or reducing them as well as shows the phenomenon that you try to deliver. In this study, I first prepared the framework of classification on metaphorical expression methods of the picture books' illustration through theoretical study on the optical metaphorical characteristics and expression forms to analyze how the metaphorical expression methods shown in the picture books for children works optically and psychologically to them. Also, I divided the expression form into 2 types to derive optical psychological perceptional response of children through the empirical survey and analyzed linguistic psychological response of children by type utilizing it as the survey materials of in-depth interviews. Finally, I think that the result of this study will help screen production based on personality and creativity of illustrators and, in addition, it will be utilized in studies and tests of the effective expression methods for students who learn illustration.

The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences and perspectives of the self-reliance program participants through a longitudinal qualitative study from 2006 to 2012. Based on Grounded theory approach, it examines how participants managed their lives up to now status. Through open-coding process, 181 meanings were identified. Paradigm model shows that the goal of the self-reliance program can be viewed as causal condition. However, contextual factors such as poverty experiences and child-support affected the self-reliance program participants to adapt and stay in the program rather than actively participate in the market. The finding shows that the meaning of self-reliance are differently understood by policy makers and self-reliance program participants.

This study aims to explore the utilizing experience of public support service of the single mothers, who have been assessed as inability in aspect of labor. For this purpose of this study, we had in-depth interview five interviewees who had adolescent children or non-adult children. The participants were from 20s to 50s. From the outcomes of this study, we figured out that they had attempted to escape from the poor realities of life and to help the family budget through their work. However, they could not have plans to fulfill their aims, because of the unhealthy body conditions, the high working costs, the burdens for parenting or child-rearing, and the low levels of working ability. It has been shown that their parenting stresses and depressions from their hard realities have been reinforced, and those psycho-emotional pressures have been projected to connect with the inappropriate disciplines and parenting or child-rearing. And it has been reinforced through utilizing public support service. Consequently, they have become chronic through the repeated disappointment and unhealthy psycho-emotional condition. In this study, we discussed and proposed the labor policies and practical suggestions which have had a close relationship with the efficient judgement systems for work inability.
