  • 본 논문은 MPLS 망과 MPOA 망을 ATM을 이용하여 심리스 연결이 가능한 연동 방안을 제시한다. MPOA의 Shortcut VC와 MPLS의 레이블을 이용한 LSP가 IP 룩업 지연을 최소화하고 심리스 연결을 가능하게 하였지만, 이들을 연동하기 위해서는 연동 노드의 IP 룩업이 필요하므로 종단간의 심리스 연결을 위한 연동 방안이 필요하다. MPLS 망과 MPOA 망의 심리스 연동을 위해 치들의 연동 기능을 이용한 연동 방안과 함께 MPLS의 레이블 값과 ATM VC의 VPI/VCI를 이용하여 LIB에 연동기능을 구성한 심리스 연동 방안들을 제시하고 비교 분석한다.

  • For high-speed Internet services, considerations on interworking methods are required for interworking between networks with different technologies. lnterworking and structures in interworking point nodes can affect on transfer efficiency. This paper proposes interworking procedures and functions of the edge routers for overhead reduction in MPOA-MPLS networks. The MPLS networks can be based on ATM technology. Therefore, we consider ATM seamless connections for the interworking and compare the proposed method with that without seamless connection. We perform computer simulations to get both of the transfer delays and throughputs for the comparison., we describe required interworking functions and operations in the edge routers.

  • Seamless connection can be a good solution to reduce processing delays in interworking points, a possible big burden to the data transmission in Internet. This paper, therefore, will present several interworking methods which can minimize the delays through seamless connections in interworking between MPOA networks, usually ATM-LANs, and MPLS networks, mainly Internet backbones. We compare characteristics of those networks, propose requirements for interworking, and describe three Interworking methods. Proposed Interworking methods reduce end-to-end transmission delay for seamless connection between ATM VC and LSP, as decreases the number of IP lookup processing in LER. We describe detailed process and characteristic of each interworking method, And we analyze and compare end-to-end delay, using Jackson's network theorem, of proposed interworking methods.

  • 본 고에서는 이기종 네트워크 환경에서의 심리스 핸드오버 기술에 대한 기술 분석 및 관련 표준화 동향에 대하여 기술한다. 이기종 네트워크에서의 심리스 핸드오버 기술로 대표적인 IEEE 802.21 Working Group에서 표준화를 진행해온 Media Independent Handover 기술에 대한 참조 모델, 서비스, 프로토콜 및 이기종 네트워크간 핸드오버 절차를 중심으로 살펴본다. 최근 표준화 동향 파악을 위해서 2007년 10월 기준으로 IEEE 802.21 Working Group 및 IEEE 802.11u Task Group의 표준화 현황과 핵심 이슈를 정리하며, 그간 3GPP 표준과 연계한 MIH 기술 적용 현황 및 향후 추진시 고려할 사항에 대하여 기술한다. 또한, IEEE 802.21 Working Group 내 신규 그룹인 Multi-Radio Power Conservation Management Study Group과 Security Study Group의 진행상황에 대하여 살펴본다.

  • An adaptive seamless Phase II/III clinical trial design enables a reduction in the sample size (in comparison to a conventional design) that also shortens the clinical development time. It is also very effective in clinical trials since it can have higher statistical power than Phase III alone. In this study, we use extensive simulation studies to compare several multiple hypothesis testing methods that can help select the best doses in a Phase II study along with several methods to combine p-values of the Phase II and Phase III study.

  • 현재까지 나타나고 있는 공포 게임은 크게 두 가지로 나뉘어 있다. 시각적으로 유저들의 눈을 감기느냐 아니면 심리적으로 유저들의 마음을 두렵게 사로잡느냐 하는 것으로 나뉘어 공포 게임들이 출시되고 있다. 이렇게 크게 두 가지로 나뉘고 있지만 이 두 가지를 또 나누어 시각적인 공포로는 점프 스케어, 즉 갑툭튀 방식의 플레이가 더 공포를 느끼는지 아니면 게임에 크리처가 나온다면 그 크리처의 모습만으로 공포감을 느끼는지, 심리적인 공포로는 크리처가 없는 심리 공포 게임이 무서운지 아니면 크리처가 있는 심리 공포 게임이 무서운지로 더 자세히 나누어 흔하디흔한 공포 게임들의 선입견을 찾아보고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 유저들이 공포 게임을 접할 때 시각적으로 더 공포감이 느껴지는지 아니면 심리적으로 더 공포감이 느껴지는지에 대한 선입견 차이를 통계를 통해 설명하고 해당 공포심으로 공포 게임들의 공포 방향성을 어떻게 바뀌어야 할지 제안을 하고자 한다.

  • Elongation rolling process is an intermediate process to make the uniform thickness and uniform surface roughness during producing seamless pipes. The thickness and surface roughness of seamless pipes are generally affected by the distance of rolls and guide shoes, the roll shape, and its cross angle. In this study, finite element analysis for shape forming process is based on the analysis model of elongation rolling mill with guide shoes. This paper shows how the cross angle of the roll, the rolling rpm, and the distance of the guide shoe influence on the outer diameter and the thickness of seamless pipes. The rolling rpm did not give much influence on outer diameter.

  • Tooth carving practice is required for novice learners in dentistry to understand dental morphology and acquire clinically underlying skills. Tooth carving practice is more effective when sequential models can be observed. The purpose of this study is to suggest a tooth carving practice model and to develop a mobile practice supporting tool based on tutorial providing 3D modeling information about steps of tooth carving. As a result, tooth carving practice model consists of the class activity including tooth information lecture and practice and mobile seamless learning connecting learners' practice and regular learning with the mobile tutorial tool. The mobile tutorial tool is implemented with tooth morphology dictionary, tooth carving practice/training tutorial, and 3D tooth modeling. The experts' evaluation on the developed contents shows that the content and function are valid(content validity: 5.0, interface validity: 4.53). Therefore, the mobile tutorial tool is suitable for supporting mobile seamless learning for tooth carving practice. Further researches are expected to be conducted to develop instructional models utilizing ICT and mobile contents in dentistry.
