Performance Test and Analysis of the Laser Radar System Prototype for Mapping Application (맵핑용 레이저 레이더 시스템 실험실 시제의 성능시험 및 분석)

  • We present the results of performance test and analysis of a laser radar system prototype for mapping applications. The laser radar system consisting of fiber laser and avalanche photo-detector and other related component modules was designed and manufactured. The laser radar system now has the status of a prototype for the testing of laboratory performance. Main performance parameters of the system such as laser source characteristics, range accuracy, extinction ratio, and false alarm rate were experimentally measured and the results were analyzed. It confirmed that the laser radar system prototype is performing at a proper level.

  • Since fatigue cracks in rail can be the source of fractures and subsequent derailments, quantitative evaluation of the fatigue behavior and fracture properities due to the analysis results of laboratory test are drawn on the basis for predicting fatigue life and making a decision of safe inspection interval. Charpy V-notch and fracture toughness behavior were evaluated from the results of Charpy impact test. Fatigue test was performed by using CT type specimen under constant amplitude loading, and finally the effects of the following parameters; crack orientation, temperature, and stress ratio, on the fatigue crack growth behavior were studied.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 국내에서 활발히 연구 개발되고 있는 전력선 통신 모뎀의 공인 시험을 위한 요구 사항을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 전력선 통신 기술의 표준화 및 기술 개발 동향과 Homeplug 표준화 단체에서 제시하는 전력선 통신 모뎀의 실험실 테스트 규정을 분석하였으며, 국내 전력선 통신 모뎀의 공인 시험을 위해서는 국내 전력선 통신 환경에 적합한 공인 시험 항목의 도출과 각 시험 항목별 시험 절차서 개발, 그리고 시험 결과에 대한 인중 체계의 수립이 필요함을 제시하였다.

Analytical method development for residual metamizol in meat using LC/MS/MS (식육 중 메타미졸 잔류물의 LC/MS/MS 시험법 개발)

  • In this study, an analytical method was developed for residual metamizol in beef and pork using LC/MS/MS. 4-methylaminoantipyrin (MAA), the main metabolite of metamizol was targeted for analysis instead of its parent compound. MAA was simply extracted from meat by acetonitrile, purified and then analyzed by multiple reaction monitoring method (MRM). Standard addition method was used for calibration. The calibration curves showed the linearity of $r^2$ > 0.99 for both matrices included. The developed method was validated by six-time intra-lab tests and inter-lab tests with two other institutes. The validation of the whole procedure for beef showed the intra-lab accuracies of 78-102% (CV 5.5-9.1%) and the inter-lab accuracy of 98% (CV 14%); the intra-lab accuracies of 95-99% (CV 3.9-5.6%) and the inter-lab accuracy of 111% (CV 13%).

  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) are a class of brominated flame retardants (BFRs) which have taken much interest recently due to their potential hazardous effects to human body and ecosystem. Many countries and European community prohibits the usage of certain BFRs in electronics and electronic devices (e.g. RoHS). In this perspectives, Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) has designed and practiced proficiency testing programs based on the ISO/IEC 17043 in order to assist laboratory accreditation activities. The programs for interlaboratory comparisons include congeners of PBDE (PBDE-154, 183, 206, 209) in high impact polystyrene (HIPS). A sample bottle that contains 10 g granular HIPS was distributed to 35 participating laboratories and the test results were calculated by the statistical procedure using z-scores to evaluate performance of each laboratory. The results and the laboratory's performance were discussed.

  • 본 고에서는 케이블 시스템 진단을 위하여, 열화 현상의 확인, 관련된 성질 변화의 측정과 검출방법의 개발 및 운전 지침등에 대해, 관련 문헌에 대한 조사를 토대로 정리하였으며, 이론적인 접근보다는 실제적인 것을 채택하고 케이블 사용자에 적용될 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 진단 시험에 대해서는, 진단법을 다루었거나, 현장이건 아니건 다양한 시험을 고려할 때 진단 시험으로서 정의 -"운전조건에서 케이블이나 액세서리의 사고에 원인이 될 수 있는 열화 현상을 평가하고 찾아내는 것"- 할 수 있다면 본 고에 포함시켰다. 따라서, 사고가 발생되어 교체된 케이블 샘플에 대한 실험실 시험과 현장에서의 비파괴 시험은 모두 진단시험으로 간주하여 정리하였다. 본 고에서는 고전압 OF 케이블과 사출케이블 및 액세서리에 대해 다루었으며, 열화 현상보다는 진단법에 주력하였고 DC 케이블은 제외하였다.이블은 제외하였다.

Investigation of Excavation Disturbed Zone Around a Tunnel by Blasting (발파에 의한 터널주변 암반 손상대 발생 평가)

  • In situ and laboratory tests were carried out for investigating the Excavation Disturbed Zone(EDZ) generated from blasting at the KAERI Underground Research Tunnel(KURT), which is for the researches related to High-level radioactive waste disposal program. It was found that the EDZ was generated more than In from the laboratory rock tests and in situ experiments. RQD of the rock mass within $0{\sim}2(m)$, where the blasting impact was significant, was 17% lower than in the deeper zones without a serious blasting impact. It was also estimated that the deformability of rock mass was reduced about 40% after the blasting.
