This study aimed to explore empirically social work practice skills that are being used most frequently in a variety of social work settings in Korea. Out of 669 questionnaire sent, 361 were returned. Exploratory factor analysis revealed 7 underlying axes from 132 most frequently used practice skills. They were named as: casework skills, group work skills, family work skills, community work skills, volunteer managing skills, program development and evaluation skills, and agency managing skills. Second factor analysis explored underlying sub-factors from each of the seven axes. Researcher identified 42 principal skills that can represent the underlying sub-factors explored in the previous stage. Finally, research checked if the different work settings use different practice skill axes. Study results can be used to connect social work education settings and practice fields in Korea. There has been an argument that Korean social work education has been teaching improper practice skills to the to-be-social workers.

첨단이론과 현장실무능력을 겸비한 새로운 실천적 공학기술교육의 중심대학으로 특성화된 한국기술교육대학교(이하 한기대)의 학생 현장실습교육에 관하여 기술하였다. 한기대 재학생이 재학기간 중에 일정기간 동안 산업체에서 현장 실습교육을 필수 교과목으로 이수하도록 하여 산업발전에 부응하는 실천 기술을 습득할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 산업현장을 체험하게 함으로써 산업체가 요구하는 창조적 직무수행능력을 갖춘 우수한 실천 공학자를 양성하고자 한다. 이에 한기대에서 현재 실시하고 있는 학생 현장실습교육의 운영방안에 대하여 고찰하고 앞으로의 개선방안을 논의한다

첨단이론과 현장실무능력을 겸비한 새로운 실천적 공학기술교육의 중심대학으로 특성화된 한국기술교육대학교(이하 한기대)의 교수 현장연구학기제에 관하여 기술하였다. 경쟁력을 갖춘 실천공학 기술인력을 양성하기 위해 교수들이 현장연구와 경험을 통하여 실용적인 교수기법을 개발함으로써 현장 적응능력이 있는 고급기술인력을 양성, 보급할 수 있도록 교수 현장연구학기제를 도입하여 실시하고 있다. 교수 현장연구학기제의 운영방안에 대하여 고찰하고 앞으로의 개선방안을 논의한다.

This study aimed to explore social work practice tasks and KSA(Knowledge, Skill, Ability) that are being used most frequently in practice field so that developing contents of training program for social worker. The participants in this study included 340 social worker in community welfare center nationwide and exploratory statistical methods were used. The specific result were as follows: 1.social work service was classified four dimensions(direct service, community service, organizational strategic and human resource management, and indirect service). 2.In each dimension, important practice tasks were screened. 3.Basic KSA of social worker that were needed to perform these tasks successfully were screened. On basis of these results, this paper provided some practical strategics for developing training program.

Recently, it has been observed that social workers in Korea face diverse difficulties in designing social work programs. These difficulties require researchers to conduct a study on the contextual features of the difficulties. This study is to analyze the characteristics of the social work program proposals on the basis of program components. Research method used in the study is content analysis. Two researchers developed the analytic tool based on literature review and a pilot test, and analyzed 73 proposals submitted to a private welfare foundation from nationwide social work agencies in 2005 and 2006. As a result, although each program was designed in a proposal according to standardized form, there were creative diversities in designing social work programs. In addition, there were confusions in the three areas: conceptual and logical confusion, research and analytical confusion, and concrete and procedural confusion. Finally the researchers suggested several tasks and recommendations for the areas of research, education, and practice to solve these confusions in Korea.

This article explores early childhood teachers' practices from bottom-up perspectives on the relationship between theory and practice. Results of the review of literature are as follows: 1) From top-down perspectives early childhood teachers' practices and their classroom behaviors have been traditionally defined within the framework of theories of child development, the notion of developmentally appropriate practice, and designed program models; 2) From bottom-up perspectives researchers have a focus on how teachers' practices lead theories and how they construct the act of teaching through reflective thinking; 3) empirical research on preservice and inservice teachers demonstrates that preservice teachers develop their own theories of teaching from their previously held assumptions, gained knowledge from preparation programs, and their individual experiences. It also shows that inservice teachers construct teaching through their implicit knowledge and the use of strategies to negotiate problems. Implications for future studies on teachers's practices are discussed.

e-러닝의 학교 현장 도입과 마찬가지로 유비쿼터스 기술이 대두되면서 학교 현장으로의 유비쿼터스 환경 적용에 대한 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 신기술에 대한 무조건적인 적용을 통해서는 우리가 기대하는 효과적인 교수 학습을 기대하기는 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 e-러닝을 중심으로 한 교육정보화정책 실천과정 분석을 기초로 유비쿼터스 환경 적용을 위한 전략을 모색해 보고자 한다.
