Designing algorithms is a very important learning process in computational thinking education because it requires learner's logical and procedural thinking. But the case studies that have topics of algorithms learning and students' types of errors in learning algorithms are not enough. So the purpose of this study is to analyze students' errors that discovered in the process of learning three control structures of programming using flowchart and provide types of errors in designing algorithms. Results about tests of three types of control structures in university student's algorithms learning class showed different cases of types of errors; types of sequential control error are not presented in the class, types of conditional control error are presented in the case of setting the conditions of nested conditional control, and types of iterative control are showed in the many cases of iterative conditions, statements of single and nested iterative control structure. The results of study will be a good case study about teaching designing algorithms of computational thinking education in elementary, secondary school and university.

This paper presents a vision based localization method for indoor mobile robots using the types of vertices from a monocular image. In the images captured from a camera of a robot, the types of vertices are determined by searching vertical edges and their branch edges with a geometric constraints. For obtaining correspondence between the comers of a 2-D map and the vertex of images, the type of vertices and geometrical constraints induced from a geometric analysis. The vertices are matched with the comers by a heuristic method using the type and position of the vertices and the comers. With the matched pairs, nonlinear equations derived from the perspective and rigid transformations are produced. The pose of the robot is computed by solving the equations using a least-squares optimization technique. Experimental results show that the proposed localization method is effective and applicable to the localization of indoor environments.

Recently, studies on Korean spelling correction have been actively conducted based on machine translation and automatic noise generation. These methods generate noise and use as train and data set. This has limitation in that it is difficult to accurately measure performance because it is unlikely that noise other than the noise used for learning is included in the test set In addition, there is no practical error type standard, so the type of error used in each study is different, making qualitative analysis difficult. This paper proposes new 'error type classification' for deep learning-based Korean spelling correction research, and error analysis perform on existing commercialized Korean spelling correctors (System A, B, C). As a result of analysis, it was found the three correction systems did not perform well in correcting other error types presented in this paper other than spacing, and hardly recognized errors in word order or tense.

전 지구적으로 생물다양성의 지속적인 감소 추세에 따른 생물자원의 중요성이 증가하는 시점에서, 식물 유전자원의 종 다양성 보존과 지속가능한 이용을 위한 체계적이고 현실적인 방안 마련이 절실한 실정이다. 국내에서도 2017년에 유전자원 접근 및 이익 공유에 대한 나고야 의정서가 발효됨에 따라 식물유래 BT산업 소재의 국내 자급이 불가피해진 상황이며, 더불어 국토의 생태복원에 적합한 식물 소재 개발의 중요성이 대두되면서 자생식물의 종자 수급기반 대책은 국가적 차원에서 중대한 과제라 할 수 있다. 우리나라는 면적 대비 높은 식물 종 다양성을 보이며, 이는 종자의 휴면유형 또한 다양하고 복잡할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 식물유전자원으로써의 보존 및 국가 경제적 이익을 위한 종자 활용, 산업화를 위해서는 종자의 생리적 특성에 기반 한 데이터베이스의 축적과 효과적인 활용을 위한 종자 휴면유형 분류 및 적정 휴면타파 조건을 확립할 필요가 있다. 현재까지 다양한 식물종에서 종자 휴면의 하위 카테고리가 계속적으로 세부 분류되고 있으나, 아직까지 밝혀지지 않은 세부 휴면유형에 의해 많은 유용 식물자원의 활용이 제한적이다. 종자의 휴면유형은 크게 외생휴면(Exogenous dormancy)과 내생휴면(Endogenous dormancy)으로 분류되며, 국내에서는 내생휴면에 대한 연구가 주를 이루고 있다. 한편 외생휴면은 물리적 휴면(Physical dormancy), 기계적 휴면(Mechanical dormancy) 및 화학적 휴면(Chemical dormancy)으로 세부 분류되며, 기계적 휴면과 화학적 휴면은 내생휴면인 생리적 휴면(Physiological dormancy)에 포함되어야 한다는 의견도 있다. 물리적 휴면 종자에서는 water-gap 복합체의 존재 등에서 원인을 찾을 수 있으나, 발아억제 호르몬에 기인하는 화학적 휴면 및 종(과)피 또는 배유에 의한 기계적 휴면은 배의 성장잠재력과 발달에 의해 타파될 수 있다. 이와 같이 실제로 많은 식물 종에서 다양하게 존재하는 외생휴면 유형에 대해 내생휴면과는 명확히 다른 방식으로 접근되어야 하므로, 다년간의 체계적 연구를 통해 미흡한 종자생리 연구 분야를 보완하고 자생식물의 종자 활용도를 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

최근 국내 경제의 구조적 전환에 대한 필요성이 증대됨에 따라 기술집약적인 산업에 관심이 모아지고 있으며 이러한 관심은 주로 기술개발과 혁신을 통해 고수익을 달성하려는 벤처기업에 집중되어져 왔다. 특히 인터넷 비즈니스분야의 벤처인 경우 기존 산업이 지니고 있던 산업구조, 기업유형 및 수익원천과는 구별되는 특징을 지니고 있기에 기업의 성장성과 수익성을 예측하고 미래가치를 판단하는데 있어 새로운 투자평가 패러다임이 요구된다. 국내의 경우 최근 들어 벤처성과와 관련된 연구들이 진행되고는 있으나 주로 사례연구 방식으로 벤처기업을 대상으로 한 주요성공요인, 성과 영향요인, 자금조달 및 육성지원정책 등 탐색적 연구에서 벗어나지 못하고 있으며 실제 벤처투자자의 입장에서의 연구는 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 벤처투자가를 대상으로 투자고려요인과 성과요인을 추출하고 두 요인간의 관련성을 파악함으로써 투자성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 제시하고 이를 투자자유형, 성장단계, 투자시기, 사업유형, 벤처전략별로 분석하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이를 통해 인터넷 비즈니스분야의 벤처기업에게는 각 기업별 특성에 따른 관리 요인과 벤처투자가에게는 투자의사 결정시 도움을 줄 수 있는 투자지침을 제시한다.

This Study aimed to ascertain early childhood teachers' awareness of gender differences in young children and interaction style with young children. 50 teachers answered Q sort questionnaires, 7 teachers were interviewed, 2 classrooms were observed. Results showed 3 types of teacher perception of boys and 4 types of teacher perception of girls. Early childhood teachers more interact with boys than girls. Especially negative interaction showed much more frequently with boys than girls. These finding are discussed in terms of equity and equality in both gender.

The present paper considers how to teach mathematical concepts. In particular, we aim to a balanced, unified achievement for three elements of concept loaming such as concept understanding, computation and application through one's mathematical intuition. In order to do this, we classify concepts into three patterns, that is, intuitive concepts, logical concepts and formal concepts. Such classification is based on three kinds of philosophy of mathematics : intuitionism, logicism, fomalism. We provide a concrete, practical investigation with important nine concepts in theory of vectors from the viewpoint of three patterns of concepts. As a consequence, we suggest certain solutions for an effective concept learning in teaching theory of vectors.

Most web portals provide a web directory service which selects and classifies web sites according to their subject matter. In order to investigate the directory access behavior of general Korean web users, this study analyzes directory access logs of NAVER, a major Korean web search engine. This study suggests a methodology to classify the total sessions into six different session types. This study also discusses directory access behaviors of the NAVER users by examining the distribution of sessions according to session types, the lengths of navigation within a session, and the most frequently visited categories. It is expected that this study could contribute to the development of more effective web directory services.

This paper presents FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) for maintenance of mail sorting machine which is for automatic sorting of mail. We suggest the update method of regular diagnosis item and period for maintenance of mail sorting machine using the risk priority number which is calculated by severity, occurrence, and detection of failure mode of mail sorting machine, and shows FMEA adoption example of letter sorting machine. This paper also describes the current maintenance system and status of mail sorting machine in the domestic postal logistics environment, and FMEA adoption step. The proposed maintenance using FMEA will be adapted for more easy and efficiency maintenance of mail sorting machine.

In this paper, we deal with implementation issues of an unknown word classifier for middle-school level English writing test. We define the type of unknown words occurred in English text and discuss the detection process for unknown words. Also, we define the type of swear words occurred in students's English writings, and suggest how to handle this type of words. We implement an unknown word classifier with a swear detection module for developing an automatic English writing scoring system. By experiments with actual test data, we evaluate the accuracy of the unknown word classifier as well as the swear detection module.
