The Study on the Applying Methods for EBLIP in Korean Librarianship (실무자의 근거출판 활성화를 통한 근거중심 문헌정보실무의 국내 적용 방안)

  • EBLIP seeks to improve library practice by utilizing the best available evidence in conjunction with a pragmatic perspective developed from working experiences in librarianship. The purpose of this study is to apply the evidence-based library and information practice(EBLIP) in Korean librarianship with encouraging the practitioners to publish in their workplace. Content analysis on papers accepted for publication among five LIS journals and focus group interview were performed in order to investigate the contexts and perceptions on the publishing activities of practicing librarians. While the proportion of papers that librarians wrote was calculated at 26 percent among the sample, the percentage of papers with librarians as a single author was only 9.2. Significant obstacles for librarians to publish papers due to organizational level were observed. The author suggests organizational support and better framework for communicating research based on practice such as publication of evidence-based practical journal and the adoption of structural abstract. The findings reinforce the importance of teaching rigorous research methods in workplace.

  • 본 논문에서는 지속적인 대형고장 재발에 따른 근원적 고장예방대책으로 실질적인 위기대응훈련과 변전분야 근무 직원의 역량강화를 위해 변전분야 교육과정을 현장실습 및 사례위주 실무중심토론식 수업으로 개편하는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다. 그리고 실설비와 연계된 모의고장 시뮬레이터 실습교육장을 구축하고, 변전설비 축소형 모듈을 제작하여 주요 변전설비를 실제로 조립하면서 설비에 대한 이해를 고취시키고자 한다. 교육내용과 목표가 중복되는 유사교육과정을 통폐합하여 변전교육의 효율화를 도모한다. 또한, EMTP 전문반과 같은 특화된 전문기술교육과정을 개설을 추진하며, 전문자격증 취득을 위한 과정을 개발하여 교육수요자의 요구사항이 반영되는 교육을 실현하고자 한다.

  • The various designs are preferred as well as IT appliances development of the internet based with consumer needs. It's real that the tool development technology of shortened lead time is also requested for production tool fabrication for the launch of new products. A process technology for shortening tool development period was one of the very important practical education from tooling suppliers related to mold development, and we are in competition with having the three elements of short due date, the quality and the production cost for new products. In this paper, the tooling development education and training program with current product development won't be systematic, and we hope to improve educational training process lacking in the reality and to advance the application model of practical centered education and training program of practical technology ability improvement and process technology improvement for shorting tool development period which can be performed at the workplace substantially.

  • There are 17 cyber universities granted by the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Department. Most of them have Design department and their educational purpose is practical education. However, their educational process is limited of teaching how to operate computer or production tools and has not offered practical training to students for pre-designer. But it does not mean that students in cyber university are lacking in capability of design. About hundreds of students will graduate from cyber university with a certificate of the completion of a design course on February in 2005. They look for achievement contrary to negatively social view. Because according to the record of 2004 Multi-media major in Seoul Digital University, 73% of them has worked in design field. The purpose of Cyber university is not to instruct a designer but do a lifelong education. I studied how to educate students in cyber university. In other words, I researched an educational methodology in cyber university for practical skill in design, an educational effect in various design contents, an educational process for current designers and beginners, a required education in reality, an limitation of online and an unique contents for design education. And then, I discussed how students in cyber university accept the value of design in online contents and improve their design abilities.

A Study on the Impact of Local Entrepreneurship Education on the Entrepreneurial Motivation, Entrepreneurial Competencies, and Entrepreneurial Spirit of Education Participants

  • This study is an empirical research aimed at examining the impact of practical, field-oriented local entrepreneurship education for college students and prospective entrepreneurs in the Busan area on their entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial competencies, and entrepreneurial spirit. The study is conducted to enhance the activation of youth entrepreneurship education in the Busan area and to tailor entrepreneurship competency development for prospective local young entrepreneurs. In this study, the factors of entrepreneurial motivation were divided into economic motivation and self-realization motivation, while entrepreneurial competencies were categorized into practical competencies for local entrepreneurship, local brand development competencies, and financial analysis competencies. To conduct the empirical analysis, a survey was administered to 139 participants who took part in entrepreneurship education from March to October 2023. The research findings indicate that local entrepreneurship education significantly influences participants' entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial competencies, and entrepreneurial spirit. Furthermore, it was observed that entrepreneurial spirit also has a significant impact on entrepreneurial motivation and competencies. These results suggest the practical importance of tailoring entrepreneurship education to the specific characteristics of local prospective entrepreneurs.

Assessment for the Needs to Develop Hospice Training Program for Nurses (간호사를 위한 호스피스 연수교육 요구도 조사)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to assess the educational needs for nurses who care for terminal cancer patients and their families. To identify top needs along with key issues in consideration to develope hospice training program and provide specific recommendations. Methods: A cross-sectional design with nurses from nine universities' hospice specialist courses and seven cancer centers was used. Data were collected via e-mail or mail service from March to April in 2008. One hundred seventy three questionnaires were returned (return rate: 73.6%), and 156 questionnaires were eventually analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of Mason and Ellershaw's The Self-efficacy in Palliative Care (SEPC) and self-reporting confidence and educational needs in hospice care. Results: The mean age of the participants was 37.94 years, 82.1% were staff nurses, and 44.9% completed over six months hospice education. Mean$\pm$standard deviation score for total SEPC was $2.67{\pm}.62$, which was lower than average (score 3), with communication score being the lowest ($2.49{\pm}.69$). The lowest self-reporting confidence score was $2.03{\pm}.77$ in hospice administration and management, followed by providing complement therapy ($2.34{\pm}.77$), bereavement care ($2.34{\pm}.71$), lymph edema management ($2.35{\pm}.79$), and care planning ($2.36{\pm}.81$). The participants reported that additional education is needed in all topics, with pain management score being the highest ($3.71{\pm}.50$), followed by pain and symptom evaluation ($3.67{\pm}.52$), care for dying ($3.67{\pm}.52$), and communication and counseling ($3.63{\pm}.53$). There were significant subgroup differences in SEPC and self-reporting confidence between groups who completed 6 months hospice education or not, however, no significant difference in educational need between the groups. Conclusion: This study showed the need for developing hospice training program to improve compentency of nurses in hospice palliative care.

Development of the Prototype Curriculum of Foodservice Systems Management Education based on Competency-Based Education Principles (능력중심교육 원칙을 응용한 급식경영관리 교육 모형의 개발)

  • 본 연구는 한국 영양사를 위한 급식경영관리교육의 필요성을 파악하고, 4년제 식품영양학과에 적용 할 수 있는 능력중심교육 원칙(competency-based education)을 응용한 급식경영관리 교육 모형 개발에 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 각 분야의 급식경영전문가 설문조사$\longrightarrow$영양사 설문조사$\longrightarrow$4년제 대학 식품영양학과 교과과정 검토$\longrightarrow$급식경영관리 교육 모형 개발 등의 순으로 진행되었다. 급식경영전문가 설문조사를 통하여 한국영양사에게 필요한 47개 급식경영관리 수행능력을 결정하였으며, 이를 토대로 영양사 설문조사 (응답자수: 484, 회수율: 65%)에서는 위 수행능력의 중요도와 교육정도에 대한 영양사들의 인식을 알아보았다. 그 결과, 급식경영관리 수행능력이 현재와 미래의 영양사 업무수행에 있어 매우 중요하다고 인식하고 있는 반면, 교육은 불충분하다고 대답하였다. 교육 불충분의 이유로는 급식경영관리 분야의 과목 부족, 실무위주 교육의 부족 등을 지적하였다. 교과과정 검토 결과 61개 과목 중 8과목(13%)만이 급식경영관리와 관련된 과목으로 나타났다. 두 가지 설문조사 결과와 교과과정 검토 결과를 토대로 하여 본 연구에서는 능력중심교육 원칙을 응용한 급식경영관리 교육 모형을 개발하였다. 개발된 교육 모형은 급식경영관리 전문 교육가에 의해 실행 전 평가 및 검토를 거쳤으며, 내용구성, 적용성, 형식 분야의 평가 결과 모든 분야에서 5.0 만점의 평균 4.6점을 획득하여 한국 영양사의 효과적인 급식경영관리 교육과정 개발에 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • ‘벼락공부’로 지난 10년 인터넷 인프라에 전력투구한 수험생을 연상시키는 우리나라의 손에 쥐어진 정보화 사회의 비전은 과연 무엇일까. ‘부끄러운 자화상’일까, 정보강국의 장밋빛 미래일까. 최근 고학력실업이 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 이론 중심의 대학교육과 실무형 전문인재를 원하는 기업의 시각차가 크기 때문이다. 이제 대학교육도 바뀌어야 한다. 실습위주의 교과과정 편성으로 새로운 도전에 나선 경원대학교를 찾아봤다.
