This study examines factors related to the safety of housing for elderly people. Because of the diverse problems that may occur due to aging, elderly residents may have special needs related to housing. To identify relevant factors, first, focus group interviews were conducted with six individuals aged 65 or older. Then, a Delphi survey was conducted on experts; this survey consisted of a questionnaire on factors related to the safety of housing for elderly people. Issues to address in the questionnaire were identified in the focus group interviews and also through an examination of literature published domestically and overseas. In the Delphi survey, opinions were collected from the experts; these opinions were then revised, collated, and analyzed. The factors identified in these steps were verified using a content validity index. As a result, a total of seven primary factors - outdoor environment, entrance, indoor environment, living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and restroom - and 23 sub-factors related to elderly people's housing safety were identified. The most frequently mentioned factors were indoor and outdoor stairs, safe flooring materials, and indoor thresholds. It is essential to identify the factors that most affect the safety of elderly people in their residences.

This study mainly aims to address the housing requirements of senior citizens through meeting their basic needs for physical housing while valuing the particular human needs and demands of older people. As the number and frequency of their social ties decrease, senior citizens spend most of their time at home. As a result, they suffer a larger number of accidents in the home. Although carelessness is a cause, the main reason for seniors household accidents is that the general structure, fixtures and appliances of housing do not take into account the particular needs of older people. This study investigates the accident patterns of older people, addresses structural obstructions, and proposes guidelines for ergonomic interior design and household management which take into account universal design and the special needs of senior citizens. This study explores the following: 1) Accident causes and patterns in senior households, as the specific characteristics, requirements of older people. 2) An analysis of safety improvement plans and application. 3) Determining each rooms layout by functional requirement. 4) A final set of proposed interior design guidelines for senior housing.

붉은 대륙의 문화가 흐르는 곳. 서울 광화문에 자리잡은 '주한중국문화원'은 우리에게 대륙의 문화를 거침없이 보여주려는 듯 자신 있게 다가온다. 중국문화원에 거는 기대가 얼마나 큰지는 VIP룸을 보면 미루어 짐작할 수 있다. 중국을 제대로 알리고자 본국에서 직접 가구와 소품을 들여왔으며 실내 장식에도 본국에서 온 인테리어 기술자가 동원되었다. VIP룸에는 <삼국지>를 소재로 제작한 홍목 가구로 장식되어 있으며 이것 또한 명 청 시대 작품들을 원형 그대로 재현한 것이다. 아시아의 용에서 세계의 용으로 비약하고자 꿈틀대는 중국의 과거와 오늘을 서울에서 느껴본다.

최근 GPS와 Wi-Fi가 내장된 스마트폰의 보급으로 이를 이용한 위치기반 서비스(Location-based Service)가 발전하고 있다. 하지만 위치기반 서비스들의 오차 범위는 3~4m 내외로 크기 때문에 사용자들은 더 정확한 위치를 제공하기를 바라고 있다. 본 논문에서 위치기반 서비스의 핵심기능을 담당하는 측위기술 중 흔히 사용되고 있는 삼각측량법을 활용하여 핑거프린트 방법의 측위오차를 줄일 수 있는 방안을 연구하였고 프로그램으로 구현한 후 테스트를 실시하였다. 프로그램은 Labview2010으로 구현하였고, 각각의 알고리즘을 모듈화하여 필터링 적용 전 후 및 개선효과를 비교하기 쉽도록 구성하였다. 실내 테스트는 인하대학교의 강의실에서 실시하였고 실외 테스트는 인하대학교 운동장에서 실시하였다. 테스트 결과 실내의 경우 본 논문에서 제시하는 필터링 방법을 적용하기 전의 오차가 1.02미터에서 0.83미터로 감소하였고 실외에서는 0.74미터에서 0.54미터로 오차가 감소하였다.

본 논문에서는 위치기반서비스의 핵심기능을 담당하는 측위기술 중 흔히 사용되고 있는 삼각측량법과 최소자승법을 보정한 방법을 이용하여 객체의 위치를 결정하는 알고리즘의 산포를 감소시키는 방안을 연구하였다. 두 측위 방법에서 사용되는 거리값은 모두 동일한 보정과 필터링 과정을 적용하였으며, 프로그램 구현 후 실내에서 테스트를 실시하였다. 프로그램은 LabView 2010으로 구현하였고, 각각의 알고리즘을 모듈화하여 필터링 적용 전후 및 개선효과를 비교하기 쉽도록 구성하였다. 일반적인 환경에서 실험한 결과 삼각측량이 최소자승법보다 더 좋은 정확도를 보여주었고, 필터링 과정을 거칠수록 정확도가 향상되는 것을 확인하였다.

As the advent of an aging society, housing for the elderly has been of greater concern. Since the majority of the elderly prefers to live in their own familiar houses rather than moving to new ones, this study is concerned with the ways of the effective use and maintenance of exiting houses from the viewpoint of their independent living. The data was analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, correlation, and multiple regression using the SPSS 10.0 for Windows. The findings from the study are: The general satisfaction rate of Interior Design Affordance(IDA) was-evaluated about the average. Among the items of IDA, behavioral facilitation was found most satisfactory, and perceptual maintenance, physilogical maintenance, and social facilitation were followed in satisfaction level. Although there had been many elements of serious safety dangers, no home modification was made in the elderly households who live alone or/with spouse.

안전관리를 위한 인공지능 기술은 꾸준히 연구되고 있는 분야다. 특히, 컴퓨터 비전 기술을 활용한 CCTV 영상 분석은 군중의 동선과 밀도를 파악하는데 유용하며, 대규모 실내 공간에서 체계적인 안전관리를 가능하게 한다. 그러나 기존의 CCTV 카메라를 사용한 군중 수 추정은 가려짐(occlusion)과 같은 한계가 있다. 본 논문은 무선 랜 신호 데이터 분석 기법을 활용하여 수집한 데이터를 활용하여 실내 환경에서 군중 수를 추정하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 인원 수 분류 예측을 위해 셰이플릿 확장 변환(Random Dilated Shapelet Transform) 기법을 제안한다. 단일 데이터 세트 내 분류 결과와, TX, RX 배치 방식에 따른 분류 성능의 차이는 모델의 성능 부족보다 데이터의 특성을 고려한 새로운 접근 방법의 필요성을 알려준다.

The lenticular Location Based System is related to a location information technology. The system enables users to inform their location in real time wherever in a room, a building, a ship, a basement. In this paper, we analyze limitations and problems of the existing indoor Positioning System and propose a method of user-oriented location service. The proposed method consists of a lenticular sticker, a database(DB) acquisition and analysis technology. The proposed system can be used as an infrastructure to implement various indoor location-based services. In addition to improve user centered positioning accuracy through the development of location-based systems using indoor lenticular systems, it can be used in a disaster situation.
