This study is a understanding on technological specific expression to reflect of a research institute in modern architecture. For this study, it separately reduce space program, plan program, design elements of elevation, structural system, mechanical system, building material program to its expressional elements of research institute. Also, it's arranged about a specificity that is expressed for technology each plan elements of a research institute. As a result, elements what is expressive of technology on research institute are influenced an aesthetic expression, expression of an arrangement system, structural expression, expression of architectural organization, and it influences more getting feels technological specificity expressed an aesthetic, structural system, architectural composition, mechanical distribution system in order of their magnitude. This is offered suggestion what must be an achievable complex both a simply technological expression and aesthetic expression.

As the world becomes more globalized thanks to the fast development of the Internet, a national identity becomes more important than ever before. Based on this, the study searches for the identity of modern American architecture through exploring the influence of modem American fine arts on the contemporary architecture. It was found that the concepts and the attributes of modern American fine arts obviously transferred into the contemporary architecture. The main concept was elimination of any kind of illusion for maximization of reality, and it was rooted Into American culture, the way of life and thinking. With the concept, the attributes were divided into two extreme poles: materiality and morphology: the former was evolved from Abstract Expressionism and Post-Minimalism and transferred into Los Angeles Avant-Garde architecture; the latter was from Pop Art and transferred into Postmodern architecture and Pop Architecture.

The Tabernacle was Personally designed by God and was ordered from God to Moses to build it as the first Piece of church architecture that accurately showed God's love and will of salvation towards humankind. Tabernacles, through the architecture of tabernacles teaches the Lord being among us. His Holiness and man's sins, and also reflects the path of eternity as well as the good news and salvation through Jesus Christ. And the Tabernacle is talking of the Glory of New Jerusalem that is provided Kingdom of Heaven for us at the same time being a completion of a final and ultimate church constructed long predicted through the Bible being already designed by God. The external expression of modern architecture may follow the uniqueness of that age but the special quality of the interior and exterior symbolism of church architecture will have to consist the standards of God for He is the first, sincere designer.

Environmental friendly architecture'is undeniably a verb important and global paradigm. This study tries to find how architects interpret and express fashion brand images. First, it examines the concept of brand images and its architectural expression of them in contemporary commercial architecture. Second, it investigates the brand strategies and architectural expression strategies of world-famous fashion brand companies such as Prada and Louis Vuitton. Third, it finds out architects' expression of the brand strategies focusing on Rem Koolhaas, Herzog & do Meuron, Jun Aoki, Barthelemy-Grino, Kumiko Inui. In conclusion, architects have their own expression tools for fashion brand images but the extent of expression vanes according to each brand strategy.

Recently, the risk of fine dust is emerging in Korea. According to the OECD report, the incidence of hospitalization and mortality from lung disease is increased, and the incidence of lung cancer and mortality from ischemic heart disease with prolonged exposure are increased. In addition, indoor air quality has become an important factor affecting the human body as indoor life has increased due to the Industrial Revolution. Air pollutants that cause indoor air deterioration typically include particulate dusts as described above, formaldehyde and VOCs released in gaseous form from adhesive wood products used in building materials and furniture. May cause breathing problems. In this study, we analyzed the properties of adsorption matrix for improving indoor air quality using cork.

도시는 어제와 오늘 또 내일이 공존하는 삶의 공간이다. 때문에 도시에는 고궁이나 옛 건축물이 있고, 화려하고 심플한 현대건축물도 있으며 미래지향적인 작품들도 있다. 이렇게 많은 요소와 함께 시간에 흐름을 한 공간에서 느낄 수 있는 곳이 바로 도시라고 할 수 있다. 그 동안 우리는 국가와 국가 간의 경쟁 속에서 살아왔다. 그러나 요즈음은 도시와 도시의 경쟁체계로 바뀌어가고 있다. 즉 한국에 경쟁상대는 대만이라든가 프랑스, 독일이라고 했다면 오늘날에는 서울과 동경이 경쟁 혹은 부산과 파리의 경쟁 등 좀 더 세부화 되어가고 있는 것이다. 서울만 하더라도 이제 디자인 서울이라는 강력한 설정을 가지고 경쟁력을 높이고 있으며 부산, 광주, 인천, 대구 등 모든 도시가 각각에 특성을 강조하고 있다. 이런 도시계획에 있어서 경쟁력의 중심에 도시야간경관과 조명에 대한 중요성이 새롭게 인식되어가고 있다. 이제 도시는 주간 시간대와 함께 야간 시간대에 중요성을 강조하고 있으며 도시에 생명력은 조명에 역할이 상당부분 차지하게 된 것 같다. 이런 시점에서 그러면 도시의 경관 또는 조명연출계획은 어떻게 구성, 혹은 구상되어야 하는지 알아보고 검토 하는 것이 경쟁력 있는 도시를 만드는데 큰 도움이 되지 않을까 생각된다.

The purpose of this study was to develop the hiring and retraining program for interior design teaching staffs of vocational high school. The survey has been made by interviewing 12 teachers from 2 vocational high school. The major finding of this stuffy are as follows; First, it is found that newly hired interior design teaching staffs are required to have interior design majors in university and minimum 1 year field experience. In case of having no field experience, it is required for them either to have an interior design associated certificates or to pass certain field test. Second, the retraining program should include drafting, perspective and rendering, architectural and interior materials, architectural structure, space and interior design, furniture design and fabrication, CAD, interior construction, housing and interior design in general. Third, the retraining program will be total 255 hours program. The number of hours for each specific subject are varied perpending on subject, For example, 15 hours an allocated for drafting and 60 hours for CAD.

Indoor air pollution has been a critical issue as a new environmental problem and a significant amount of research has been performed on the indoor air pollution in buildings as well us those in mean of transport such as automobiles, subways, and buses. The actual condition of indoor air pollution in ships, however, was not investigated. Because airtightness of a ship is very higher than a general building and the crew spend almost all the time in indoor space of the ship during underway, indoor air quality(IAQ) of the ship is very important for their comfortableness and health. In this paper, indoor air quality of a new ship is measured and analyzed for the improvement of IAQ in ships.
