아시아의 LNG 시장은 통화위기로부터 경제적 회복과 인도, 중국과 같이 확장해가는 신흥시장에 의해 성장을 다시 시작한 것 같다. 그러나 가스 및 전력산업의 규제철폐로 인해 가속화되어갓는 확장시장에서의 경쟁의 소용돌이 속에서 일본, 한국 그리고 대만의 LNG구매자들은 그들의 LNG수요 전망의 불확실성을 증가 시켰갔다.

동북아 지역은 경제적으로 선진국과 신흥공업국, 개발도상국이란 서로 상이한 경제발전 수준을 가지고 있으며, 정치적으로는 자본주의와 사회주의라는 다른 체제가 공존하고 있다. 이러한 상황 속에서 한반도에는 남북정상회담 이후 남북 교류의 새로운 장을 열게된 경의선 복원사업이 실시됨과 동시에 러시아가 경원선 연결을 통하여 시베리아횡단철도와 한국철도의 연결을 제의하여 철도 연결을 둘러싼 동북아의 상황은 빠르게 변모하고 있다. (중략)

In this study, the status of healthcare infrastructure in foreign countries was investigated for a Korean healthcare business planning to expand its business to these countries. Countries selected and surveyed are China, India, Indonesia, and the Middle East. When the surveyors visited the hospitals, the hospital facilities were investigated and medical professionals were interviewed to scrutinize the healthcare conditions in the hospitals. Also studied are healthcare related laws, trend of healthcare policies, hospital operations, medical staffing, and global healthcare service providers. Korea has expanded their overseas healthcare market only to small-sized hospitals and clinics. In order to keep up with global market expansion in the healthcare domain, strategic marketing is required. Especially, the most important key for overseas marketing is to make a synergizing system among hospitals, construction companies, medical equipment providers and IT solution providers. For the next step, the in-depth study will be conducted through real projects in the target countries per type of business.

This investgation was performed to provide basic data for the management program of the Soraksan national park. Sixty plots were set up and surveyed in the Sinhungsa-Wasondae Area. The vegetation was divided into two communities, Pinus densiflora community and Quercus serrata community, according to the analysis of DCA ordination. It was found out that the succession of the Pinus densiflora comunity would proceed to Quercus serrata community of which components was dominant in understory layer and shrub layer. And it was found out that in the Quercus serrata community the Pinus densiflora being mainly big size in DBH would becomr dominant comtinuously. Shannon's diversity of both community were 1.2554 and 1.1134 respectively. The numbers of woody species per 100m$^{2}$ ranged 7 to 26, and the average number of woody species was 13.

This paper analyzes comparatively the effects of changes in real effective exchange rates on the business fluctuations of the cases of Korea and Japan employing structural vector auto-regression(S-VAR) model which uses quarterly data for the five variables of real effective exchange rates, GDP gap, real interest rates, oil prices, inflation rates for the period of 1980-2006. The paper employes impulse-response analysis and variance decompositions. The paper finds that real exchange rate depreciations are contractionay for the case of Korea while they are expansionary for the case of Japan. These results are consistent with the prevailing empirical results that real exchange rate depreciations are contractionary for developing countries while expansionary for advanced countries.
