The Detection of Calibration Signal for Test of the Partial Discharge Measurement (부분방전 측정 시험을 위한 기준 신호 검출)

  • 본 논문은 부분방전검출 시험 전에 수행하는 Calibration 신호 주입 및 검출 방법에 대한 연구이다. 사용된 시료는 활선상의 배전용 XLPE 케이블이다. 실험방법은 50kV 내전압기 (750-2CTS, Hipotronics)로부터 공급된 Calibration 신호를 Lemke (LDP-5, LDIC), 오실로스코프 (TDS-3012, Tektronix)와 주파수 분석기 (8563E, HP)를 사용하여 측정하였다. 마지막으로 시험에 사용된 센서는 안테나 특성의 UHF 센서와 고주파 특성의 HFCT 센서이다. 실험결과, Calibration 신호 주입 시 시험 환경 및 센서에 따라 Calibration 신호와 주입방법의 차이가 발생하였다. 따라서 신호의 형태와 인가 전하량에 따른 Calibration 파형과 전하량 변화를 알 수 있었다.

Independent Component Analysis Based on Frequency Domain Approach Model for Speech Source Signal Extraction (음원신호 추출을 위한 주파수영역 응용모델에 기초한 독립성분분석)

  • This paper proposes a blind speech source separation algorithm using a microphone to separate only the target speech source signal in an environment in which various speech source signals are mixed. The proposed algorithm is a model of frequency domain representation based on independent component analysis method. Accordingly, for the purpose of verifying the validity of independent component analysis in the frequency domain for two speech sources, the proposed algorithm is executed by changing the type of speech sources to perform speech sources separation to verify the improvement effect. It was clarified from the experimental results by the waveform of this experiment that the two-channel speech source signals can be clearly separated compared to the original waveform. In addition, in this experiments, the proposed algorithm improves the speech source separation performance compared to the existing algorithms, from the experimental results using the target signal to interference energy ratio.

Acoustic Emission from Fatigue Crack Extension in Corroded Aluminum Alloys (부식된 알루미늄 합금의 피로균열진전에서 얻어진 음향방출)

  • The main objective of this study is to determine if the sources of AE in corroded specimens of aluminum could be identified iron the characteristics of the waveform signals recorded during fatigue loading. Coupons of notched 2024-T3 aluminum with or without corrosion (at the notch) were subjected to fatigue loading and the AE signals were recorded using non-resonant, flat, wide-band transducers. The time history and power spectrum of each individual wave signal recorded during fatigue crack growth were examined and classified according to their special characteristics. Five distinct types of signals were observed regardless of specimen condition. The waveform and power spectra were shown to be dependent on specimen condition. During the initial phase of crack growth, the signals obtained in the as-received specimens are most probably due to transgranular cleavage caused by extrusion and intrusion under fatigue loading. In the corroded specimen the signal are probably generated by intergranular cleavage due to embrittlement of grain boundary neat the pitting tip. The need for additional research to further validate these findings is indicated.

  • In this paper a commute time embedding is implemented by organizing patches according to the graph-based metric, and its properties are investigated via changing the number of nodes on the graph.. It is shown that manifold embedding methods generate the intrinsic geometric structures when waveforms such as speech or music instrumental sound signals are embedded on the low dimensional Euclidean space. Basically manifold embedding algorithms only project the training samples on the graph into an embedding subspace but can not generalize the learning results to test samples. They are very effective for data clustering but are not appropriate for classification or recognition. In this paper a commute time guided transform is adopted to enhance the generalization ability and its performance is analyzed by applying it to the classification of 6 kinds of music instrumental sounds.

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore an ASIC design for estimating sizes and concentrations of airborne micro-particles by the means of integrating, amplifying and digitizing electric charge signals generated by photo-sensors as it receives scattered photons by the presence of micro-particles, consisting of a pre-amplifier that detects and amplifies voltage or current signal from photo-sensor that generates charges (hole-electron pairs) when exposed to visible rays, infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, etc. according to the intensity of rays; a shaper for shaping the amplified signal to a semi-gaussian waveform; two discriminators and binary counters for outputting digital signals by comparing the magnitude of the shaped signal with an arbitrary reference voltages. The ASIC with the proposed architecture and functional blocks in this study was designed with a 0.18um standard CMOS technology from Global Foundries and the operation and performances of the ASIC has been verified by the silicons fabricated by using the process.

Double Duobinary MSK Modeling of the SOQPSK-TG Signal (SOQPSK-TG 신호의 이중 듀오바이너리 MSK 모델링)

  • The SOQPSK-TG is a modulated signal for aeronautical telemetry with a very good bandwidth efficiency. In this paper, the frequency waveform filter of the SOQPSK-TG is linearly approximated and modeled with a duobinary precoder and a modified frequency waveform filter having a phase transition period of about 1Tb. In combination with the existing precoder, the SOQPSK-TG is modeled by a double duobinary MSK. Comparing the SOQPSK-TG signal and the newly modeled double duobinary MSK signal in time domain and frequency domain, it is confirmed that the two signals are almost identical and there is virtually no performance difference. Moreover, we can attain 0.1 dB BER performance improvement compared to the existing cosine filter when the filter of the IQ-detector is implemented with a cosine sum filter taking into account the change in the modulation index by the new double doubinary precoder.

  • This paper presents the methods that design the Wavelet-based pitch detector for 2,4 kbps Harmonic-CELP Coder, and that achieve the effective waveform interpolation by decision window shape of the transition region, Waveform interpolation coder operates by encoding one pitch-period-sized segment, a prototype segment, of speech for each frame, generate the smooth waveform interpolation between the prototype segments for voiced frame, But, harmonic synthesis of the prototype waveforms between previous frame and current frame occur not only waveform errors but also discontinuity at frame boundary on that case of pitch halving or doubling, In addtion, in transition region since waveform interpolation coder synthesizes the excitation waveform by using overlap-add with triangularity window, therefore, Harmonic-CELP fail to model the instantaneous increasing speech and synthesis waveform linearly increases, First of all, in order to detect the precise pitch period, we use the hybrid 1st pitch detector, and increse the precision by using 2nd ACF-pitch detector, Next, in order to modify excitation window, we detect the onset, offset of frame by GCI, As the result, pitch doubling is removed and pitch error rate is decreased 5.4% in comparison with ACF, and is decreased 2,66% in comparison with wavelet detector, MOS test improve 0.13 at transition region.

  • 본 논문에서는 UWB 통신을 위한 직교 변형 Hermite 파형형성함수와 정현파를 이용한 변조 Hermite펄스함수의 시간과 주파수 영역에서의 특성을 검토하였다. 그리고 이를 이용한 직교 펄스 다원접속 시스템의 송신기와 수신기를 구성하고 그 성능을 분석하였다.

  • 펄스레이저를 고체표면에 조사하면 광-음향효과에 의해 입사지점에서 음향파원이 형성되고 음향파원의 형태와 재료의 특성에 따라 여러 유형의 종파, 횡파 및 표면파의 음향에너지가 발생된다. 본 연구에서는 열탄성영역과 플라스마영역에서 종파와 횡파의 변위파형을 해석하여 모의실험을 수행하였다. 실험에서는 KrF엑시머레이저를 탄소강, 알루미늄, 황동에 조사하여 플라스마영역에서의 광-음향신호를 검출하였으며 이론과 비교하여 분석하였다.

  • 이 논문에서는 유압제어장치의 응답에 대하여 관성하중, 점성하중, 쿨룸(Coulomb)마찰 및 입력 신호의 주파수가 시스템에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였고, 이에 따른 속도와 압력파형을 주로 서 술하였다. 피스톤의 드리프트(drift)와 스프링하중을 제외한 대부분의 요소가 고려되었다. 추출된 방정식은 모두 무차원화 하였으며 입력 신호를 계단함수로 할 때에는 위치 피이드백 (feedback)이 삽입되었다.
