The purpose of this study is to analyze the pattern of human developmental growth with empirical anthropometric data for clothing construction. The sample was drawn randomly out of senior high school boys and girls in seoul urban area. The sample size was 424 boys and 301 girls between age 16 and 18. Dependent variables of this study were modified after extraction of common variables from raw data. 42 dependent variables were analyzed by the method of Duncan Test as Multiple Range Test among three age groups and T-Test between male and female of same age groups. The analysis of these data was carried with spss-x package by the computer installed in INHA University. The major findings can be summarized as follows. 1. In Duncan Test, female students between age 16 and 18 were not significantly different in the majority of dependent variables, but girth measurements and weight of 17 and 18 age groups were significantly different from that of 16 age groups. 2. In Duncan Test, male students were significantly different in the majority of the dependent variables, especially 33 variabls from 42 variables, among three age groups. 3. In T-Test, hip girth was only not significantly different between male and female and neck girth of the female students was only significantly larger than that of the male students.

A sexually intact female Alaskan Malamute, 5-year-old weighing 25.2 kg presented to the Hangang Animal Hospital, following hit-by-car. On initial presentation, the dog had severe salivation and the right canine tooth luxation. Radiographs revealed fractures of the right rostral hemimandible with the right canine tooth luxation and symphyseal separation. Surgical repair of fractures was performed by use of an interdental wiring technique and external fixation technique that included pins, an acrylic connecting bar, and polymethyl methacrylate bone cement. Post-operative radiographs revealed that bridging callus was well formed over cortices of the fracture area. Pins and an acrylic connecting bar were removed 7 weeks post-operatively. The dog exhibited evidence of normal mastication.

최근에 우리 사회는 급격히 증가하는 만성질환으로 위기에 처해있다. 진보된 의료기술도 여전히 만성 질환을 완벽히 진료해 주지 못하고 있다. 현대 사회의 많은 사람들은 긴 수명을 보장받는 대신에 만성질환 장애를 가지게 되었고 비싼 의료 비용은 심각한사회 문제로 대두되고 있다. IT가 발달함에 따라 병원 중심의 치료서비스에서 개인과 주치의가 상호 긴밀하게 협력하여 질병의 예방, 관리, 건강증진 등을 제공하는 u-Healthcare 시스템이 빠르게 발전하고 있다. u-Healthcare 시스템은 개인 건강 기기로부터 측정된 생체 정보 데이터가 병원과 주치의에게 전달되어 언제 어디서나 검사 및 피드백이 가능하도록 하는 것이 목적이다. 본 논문에서는 유헬스케어 시스템에 발 맞추어 스마트 폰 기반의 만성질환자를 위한 u-DailyCare 시스템의 설계한다. 스마트폰 사용자로부터 얻어진 행위 데이터 및 생체 정보 데이터를 수집하여 서버에 보내면, 이 정보들을 바탕으로 주치의 혹은 병원에서 실시간으로 데이터를 분석하여 피드백을 준다. 본 논문의 특징으로는 키넥트 카메라와 신체 활동을 측정하는 MET 단위를 사용하여 정확한 행위 데이터 측정과 분석에 도움을 주었다. 이로써 주치의는 환자에게 좀더 정확하고 정교한 피드백을 전달할 수 있다.

In the past, design used to be known as graphic design for printing medium. However, these days, through video media or multimedia, it has expanded to convey information thanks to the innovative development of the computer, which is digital civilization. Now design, through elaborate plans and projects, is acknowledged as creative work for communications appealing to emotion comprehensively and to transmit information effectively. This thesis presented a new methodology of mess communication using various elements such as video typography. Furthermore, reflecting feedback from hearing-unpaired people, theological background well grounded and the way to proceed in the future were also addressed.

연구배경: 데이트 폭력은 청소년을 포함한 젊은 인구집단의 신체적, 정신적 건강을 위협하는 중요한 공중보건 문제이다. 친밀한 남녀관계에서 시작되는 데이트 폭력의 위협에 노출되는 시기가 바로 청소년들이 생애주기 상 가장 급격히 발달하면서 많은 변화를 겪는 시기라는 것이 더 민감한 관심을 끈다. 그러나 이 문제 또는 이 문제를 해결하기 위한 노력들의 정도와 심각성을 이해하기 위한 구조적인 노력은 그다지 많이 이루어지지 않았다. 연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 미국 청소년과 성인 초기 연령집단의 데이트 폭력 예방, 측정 도구, 위험 요인, 이환정도에 대해 지금까지의 관련 연구자료 고찰하여 일반적인 경향을 소개하는데 있다. 연구방법: 1990년부터 2007년까지 발표된 청소년과 성인 초기 인구의 데이트 폭력에 관한 60개의 논문을 검색하여 고찰하였다. 사회과학과 보건과학 관련 연구논문의 검색모듈을 활용하였는데 PsycInfo, Pubmed, 그리고 CINAHL였다. 연구결과: 데이트 폭력의 위험요인은 크게 개인적 요인, 심인적 요인, 가족 요인, 학교 및 친구 집단 요인으로 나뉘어진다. 개인적 요인으로는 자아존중감, 성, 인종, 약물사용, 성상대자 수, 과거 폭력경험이 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 이 밖의 다른 개인적 요인, 즉 심인적 요인으로는 자기효능감, 식습관, 반사회적 행동 등이 있었다. 가족 요인으로는 가족 구조, 부모 성향이 유의미한 특성들이었으며 이 밖에 학교, 친구, 지역사회의 환경적 요인이 관련 있는 것으로 보고되었다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of sensory stimulation therapy on the physical growth and behaviors of infants accommodated at two Korean orphanages. Method: Thirty-eight full term infants were assigned to a control (n=20) or an experimental (n=18) group within 14 dys of birth. In addition to routine orphanage care, infants in the experimental group received 15 minutes of massage twice a day, 5 days a week for 4 weeks. Result: Compared to the control group, the experimental group had gained significantly more weight and had larger increases in length and head circumference after the 4-week intervention period. In addition, the experimental group showed significantly better behavioral performance in the scoring of habituation (e.g., light), motor (e.g., motor maturity), and state range (e.g., peak of excitement, rapidity of build-up) behavioral clusters of Brazelton's NBAS. Conclusion: These data demonstrate that sensory stimulation therapy may facilitate the physical and behavioral development of the newborn infants placed in the orphanages.

우리의 일상 생활에 있어 가정용 전기기기는 우리 삶의 일부분이라고 말할 수 있을 정도로 그 존재 가치가 절대적이다. 최근 반도체 기술의 발달은 이러한 기기의 제어를 기계적인 방법에서 digital 방식의 전자자적인 방법으로 바꾸어 놓고 있다. 이러한 전자적인 제어장치를 갖는 기기로 의 발전은 사용상의 편리함을 갖고 있는 반면 EMC(Electromagnetic Compactibility)부분에 취약한 단점을 가지고 있다. 특히 가정용 전기기기는 물론이고 전동공구류 또한 일반 가정에서 쉽게 사용 될 수 있는 기기이므로 전자파장해에 대한 문제는 기기의 오동작 문제를 떠나 사용자 신체의 손상 등 위해를 가할수 있는 가능성을 항상 갖고 있다. 가정용 전기기기 및 전동 공구류에 대한 EMC문 제는 장착된 Micro-Processor 구동을 위한 clock 신호, 모터 등 회전기 부분에서 발생하는 불연속 적인 전자파 noise, 전원선에서 발생하는 전도성 noise와 방사성 noise가 그 원인이 되고 있으며 이러한 전자파 noise는 주변에서 동작하고 있는 다른 기기의 동작을 방해하고 또한 주변에서 동작 하고 있는 다른 기기로부터의 전자파 noise에 의해 자신이 영향을 받아 불필요한 오동작을 유발하 기도 한다. 여기에서는 EMI 부분의 경우 금번 고시 내용과 기존의 전기용품 안전관리법의 내용을 비교하였 으며, EMS 부분은 가정용 전기기기 뿐만아니라 고시된 해당 제품 모두를 비교하여 관련 제조업체 및 관계자에게 도움이 되도록 하였다.

We believe freshman succeed when they make progress toward fulfilling their educational and personal goals: 1) developing academic and intellectual competence; 2) establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships; 3) deciding on a career and life-style; 4) maintaining personal health and wellness; and 5) developing an integrated philosophy of life. The study analyzed the factors which influence the students' academic and personal life in the process of education. And is also provided a suggestion to propose directions for the effectiveness of the freshman education

Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) is a disorder of storage in which there is excessive accumulation of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) from lysosomal enzyme defect. Lysosomal accumulation of GAGs eventually results in cell, tissue and organ dysfunction. This patient may manifest mental retardation and physical disorders. This clinical report presents a girl with MPS having severe gingival hyperplasia. Gingivectomy was performed under general anesthesia. The pediatric dentist must be aware of oral manifestations present in the MPS. The approach to dental management will require teamwork between the dentist and the patient's physician.

Depression is a mental symptoms that accompany psychological symptoms such as anxiety, gloom, a sense of failure, helplessness as well as a physical symptoms that shows in the adaption process of stress. Depression may result in cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders in accordance with individual experience. In particular, the depression when growing lowers the concentration on studies of children and adolescents and also increases the violence and interpersonal problems causes a serious loss to individuals and society. This study analyzed the longitudinal data using mixed models to investigate how depression affects girls who experienced violence in home or at school.
