Recently, many researches have been actively to diagnose symptoms of heart disease using ECG signal, which is an electrical signal measuring heart status. In particular, the electrocardiogram signal can be used to monitor and diagnose arrhythmias that indicates an abnormal heart status. In this paper, we proposed 1-D convolutional neural network for arrhythmias classification systems. The proposed model consists of deep 11 layers which can learn to extract features and classify 5 types of arrhythmias. The simulation results over MIT-BIH arrhythmia database show that the learned neural network has more than 99% classification accuracy. It is analyzed that the more the number of convolutional kernels the network has, the more detailed characteristics of ECG signal resulted in better performance. Moreover, we implemented a practical application based on the proposed one to classify arrythmias in real-time.

Recently, many researches have been conducted to estimate blood pressure using ECG(Electrocardiogram) and PPG(Photoplentysmography) signals. In this paper, we designed and implemented a mobile system to monitor blood pressure in real time by using 1-D convolutional neural networks. The proposed model consists of deep 11 layers which can learn to extract various features of ECG and PPG signals. The simulation results show that the more the number of convolutional kernels the learned neural network has, the more detailed characteristics of ECG and PPG signals resulted in better performance with reduced mean square error compared to linear regression model. With receiving measurement signals from wearable ECG and PPG sensor devices attached to the body, the developed system receives measurement data transmitted through Bluetooth communication from the devices, estimates systolic and diastolic blood pressure values using a learned model and displays its graph in real time.

Pyrolysis oil (C5-C20) produced using plastic non-oxidative pyrolysis technology produces naphtha oil (C5-C10) through a separation process, and naphtha oil produces hydrogen through a reforming reaction to secure economic efficiency and social and environmental benefits. In this study, waste plastic pyrolysis oil was subjected to a steam reforming reaction on a commercialized catalyst of 46-3Q And it was found that the 46-3Q catalyst reformed the pyrolysis oil to produce hydrogen. Therefore, an experiment was performed to increase hydrogen yield and minimize the byproduct of ethylene. The reaction experiment was performed using actual waste plastic oil (C8-C11) with temperature, steam/carbon ratio (S/C) ratio, and space velocity as variables. We studied reaction conditions that can maximize hydrogen yield and minimize ethylene byproducts.

Using the precipitation data observed at the Gochang Standard Weather Observatory (GSWO) during the winter seasons from 2014 to 2016, we analyzed the precipitation characteristics of the winter observation environment. For this study, we used four different types of precipitation gauges, i.e., No Shield (NS), Single Alter (SA), Double Fence Intercomparison Reference (DFIR), and Pit Gauge (PG). We analyzed the data from each to find differences in the accumulated precipitation, characteristics of the precipitation type, and the catch efficiency according to the wind speed based on the DFIR. We then classified these into three precipitation types, i.e., rain, mixed precipitation, and snow, according to temperature data from Gochang's Automated Synoptic Observing System (ASOS). We considered the DFIR to be the standard precipitation gauge for our analysis and the cumulative winter precipitation recorded by each other gauge compared to the DFIR data in the following order (from the most to least similar): SA, NS, and PG. As such, we find that the SA gauge is the most accurate when compared to the standard precipitation gauge used (DFIR), and the PG system is inappropriate for winter observations.

Recent advances in computer technology have brought more dependence on software to railway systems and changed to computer systems. Hence, the reliability and safety assurance of the vital software running on the embedded railway system is going to tend toward very critical task. Accordingly, various software test and validation activities are highly recommended in the international standards related railway software. In this paper, we presented an automated analysis tool and standard for software testing coverage in railway system, and presented its result of implementation. We developed the control flow analysis tool estimating test coverage as an important quantitative item for software safety verification in railway software. Also, we proposed judgement standards due to railway S/W Safety Integrity Level(SWSIL) based on analysis of standards in any other field for utilizing developed tool widely at real railway industrial sites. This tool has more advantage of effective measuring various test coverages than other countries, so we can expect railway S/W development and testing technology of real railway industrial sites in Korea.

To execute load curtailment efficiently for Urban Railway Load, the load patterns of the Urban Railway Load and available amount of load curtailment over the Urban Railway Load are analyzed through comparing the load to the common power loads. In addition, the current policies of the load curtailment for the Urban Railway Load are investigated and the problems of those are presented. Based on the researches, the optimal load curtailment strategies for the Urban Railway Load are proposed to minimize the consumer's utility diminishment and the costs of the use of energies. Finally, the optimal load curtailment strategies are applied to the real Urban Railway Load, the results shows that proposed methods are efficient and cost effective while the amount of load curtailment is minimized.

Biostabilities of the iron oxide MRI contrast agent were evaluated using the cytotoxicity test and the animal test. Six experimental groups (35, 17, 5, 3.4, 1.7, 0.9 mg of iron oxide/10ml) and a control group were prepared for the cytotoxicity test. The cell count of higher concentration than 5 mg/10m1 become decrease significantly after 4-days incubation. Iron oxide was injected into the right vein of the two fully grown rabbits with the concentration of 0.5 or 0.9mg/kg of body weight respectively. Blood samples were collected and analyzed in turn after 30min, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 30, 60, 90days injection. The body temperature and weight of rabbits were measured simultaneously. The result of blood and serum analyses and the body temperature shows that there was no significant variation with respect to the sampling term and the dosage within this experimental conditions.
We present the measurement of the diffraction efficiency and response time of the photorefractive grating recorded in $LiNbO_3$ photorefractive crystal doped with 4%-mole MgO. Two laser sources were used in the experiments; frequency-doubled Q-switched Nd:YAG laser ($\lambda$=532 nm) and cw Ar-ion laser ($\lambda$=514.5 nm). The same optical geometry was also used in both experiments in order to maintain the experimental consistency. Using the two-wave mixing scheme in both experiments we measured the maximum diffraction efficiency in the range of beam intensity of 1.6~100 W/ $\textrm{cm}^2$, and the response times for both cases of recording and erasing. Two sets of results obtained from the experiments are compared and analyzed.
The inluence of styrofoam-panel thickness of floating frame on the seedling growth of flue-cured tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum L.) in the newly developed direct-seed float system was investigated . Floating frame used instead of styrofoam-tray consisted of styrofoam-panel (106×108cm) for floating, eight holes(1.Sx2S.0 cm) to uniform the water, and nutrition supply far seedling and water and nutrition absorption cloth placed on the styrofoam-panel. Each floating-frame may lay eight plastic-trays on it. Eight grades of styrofoam-panel thickness from 26 mm to 46mm and two kinds of media were used in the greenhouse system. Dry cells were found from the styrofoam-panel thickness of 43mm in carbonized chaff, compost and original soil rate of L3-3(v/v) media, and of 37mm in peat and perlite rate of 8-2(v/v) media. The thinner styrofoam-panel produced more tender and succulent seedling with the more trunk and the less root weight. When considering the appearance of dry cell, seedling growth, producing healthy tobacco seedlings, and utilization of styrofoam-panel for two kinds of medias the ideal styrofoam-panel thickness were suggested to be around 34mm for flue-cured tobacco reeling production in the newly developed direct-seeding float system. Key words : tobacco seedlings, float system, medium, styrofoam pannel, dry cell.
