  • 2008년 베이징 올림픽 개최를 앞두고 중국 전역의 부동산 시장이 장밋빛으로 물들었다. 정부에서 각종 부동산 규제 정책을 발표해 집값 상승세가 잠시 주춤하긴 했지만, 올림픽 개최 도시인 베이징은 도로를 신설 보수하고 신규 아파트를 짓는 등 부동산 시장이 활기를 띠고 있다. 베이징의 최근 주택과 부동산 시장에 대해 알아보았다.

A Study on the trend of change in the number of elementary school students in Korea (우리나라 초등학교 학생수 변화 패턴에 대한 조사 연구)

  • The results of research and analysis are as follows: First, there were 108 types of change patterns in the number of elementary school students. Second, based on the similarity of 108 types of change patterns in the number of students, a type system diagram was presented. Third, in the case of a total of 18 types of change patterns in the number of students, the number of students decreased significantly due to the establishment of additional schools on top of the existing schools. The result of a a long-term survey and analysis on the trend of increase and decrease in the number of students across the country shows an urgent need todevelop policy tasks across the entire school accommodation plan, such as the establishment of differentiated schools suitable for regional characteristics, relocation, consolidation, reorganization of school districts, remodeling, and appropriatization projects.

A Study on Characteristics of On-Street Parking on Local Streets (국지도로의 노상주차 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to provide guidelines for the selection of on-street parking spot on local streets considering conditions of surrounding area and characteristics of traffic generation. This guideline provides the method which determine required roadway width for planning and design of local streets. It is necessary to identify factors for the location selection analysis. This research team selects 12 case study areas to investigate traffic environment on the sites for this analysis. Most of factors which influence on-street parking are found to have a qualitative data format except traffic volume and pedestrian movement data. Quantification theory II which is known to be suitable for qualitative analysis has been applied to identify the meaningful variables for dependent variable. In addition, discriminant analysis has performed to verify the correlation for each variable with hit ratio. Road width, traffic volume, street traders and their heavy packages, and illegally parked vehicle are found to be most significant factors for selection of on-street parking location. Therefore, it is necessary to consider traffic volume generated from massive residential complex and traffic volume for outside and above-mentioned factors for installation of on-street parking facility in the case of new road construction or road width widen.

A Study on the Properties of Roller Compacted Concrete Pavement for Environmental Friendly Bike Road (친환경 자전거도로를 위한 롤러 다짐 콘크리트 포장의 기초물성에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, usage bicycle has been encouraged to reduce energy consumption and $CO_2$. For this purpose, lots of bike road construction are planned. Typical type of pavement used in bikeroad such as asphalt concrete pavement, portland cement concrete pavement, colored pavement, soil pavement. However, these pavement types may need high construction cost comparing the required capacity of bike road. In this study, roller compacted concrete pavement which are economical and durable, are investigated to use as bike road pavement. The optimum compaction level and mix design of roller compacted concrete pavement are suggested by exploring strength test with various mixture ratio and compaction level, Also durability was examined based on freeze-thaw and scaling test. In addition, the cost and amount of carbon emission during in the construction of roller compacted concrete were evaluated and compare with the cost and carbon emission of typical portland cement concrete.

  • Recently, the constructions of widening bridges or new bridges are often undergoing as a part of road widening because traffic volumes are rapidly increasing caused by fast-growing population and urbanization. But in general, there is no rational decision process and specification to justify the validity of the bridge widening. Moreover, there are also numerous events including various uncertainties involved in widening bridges. In this paper, therefore, a decision making model is proposed for widening bridges using decision tree based on quantitative LCC analysis considering a variety of uncertainties for the rational and practical approach to a quantitative decision making for alternatives.

A Forecasting Model for the Possibility of Traveling a New Link Using Time and Spatial Characteristics of Networks (Network의 시공간적 특성을 이용한 신설도로의 이용가능성 예측모형 개발)

  • When forecasting demand for a new road, a select link analysis is usually used to understand the OD pairs that send trips along paths that use the selected link (i.e., the new road). These OD pairs and their associated volumes are listed in a select link analysis. However, there is no research about other methods to obtain these results, so experts are almost always dependent on select link analysis results to obtain these results. The purpose of this study is to propose a model with a different approach from select link analysis to obtain the previously mentioned results. Time and spatial characteristics of networks are used in this new approach. Select link analysis results are used as a comparison index for the results by the proposed model. Also, two case studies (interzonal trips and intracity trips) are performed to validate the significance of the model. Consequently, a correlation coefficient between the results by the proposed model and the comparison index shows high significance: 0.82.

A Study On the Effect of Newly-Established Inland Logistics Centers In the Capital Area (수도권 내륙화물기지 신설에 따른 효과 분석)

  • The inland logistics center is a large scale of logistics facility that enables roads, rails, ports, and airports to carry out chained-transports and combined-transports, and the logistics center are established at the main logistics posts in order to reduce the cost of transport by mass transportation. However, it is expected that the capacity of Euiwang ICD, the only inland logistics centers in the capital area, will reach its limit before 2015, so it is required to establish another stations or to improve the existing facility. Especially, in case of Euiwang ICD, the expansion of the center is not possible because of its position, so it is required to establish new logistics centers in other places in order to raise the capacity of transport. Therefore, this study suggests to establish new metropolitan logistics centers on the western coast line in order to solve the problem of shortage of tract capacity that is brought on by the newly established inland logistics centers on the axis of the western coastline (Song-san Station and An-jung Station), and analyzes how the new logistics center will distribute railroad cargoes. By these, this study contributes to reduce the cost of transport by providing smooth railroad transport service.

A Study on the trend of change in the number of elementary school students in Kyeonggi-do (경기도 초등학교 학생수 변화 경향에 대한 조사 연구)

  • The results of the research and analysis are as follows: First, from the existing 57 types, 51 types were additionally discovered through the Gyeonggi-do research and analysis, and a total of 108 types could be subdivided. Second, as a result of the survey and analysis of Gyeonggi-do, 17 new unique types and the causes were found Third, out of 7 less than 10 years old schools, the Ns1 and Ns2 types were accounting for almost all of them. Of the 19 mid-term new schools, the Nm7 type accounted for 32.3%, and of the 41 long-term new schools, the most occupied type was Nl13 (33.5%). Among the 20 long-term rising types of 20 to 30 years old schools, the Ai19 type accounted for 22.6%, and the Ai8 type accounted for 19.4%. Among the 21 long-term decline types in existing schools, 17.0% was for the Ad5 type, 16.1% for the Ad15 type, 15.2% for the Ad10 type, 10.0% for the Ad7 type, and 8.1% for the Ad8 type.

  • 1970년대 중후반 경제개발 5개년계획의 시작과 함께 시멘트산업은 다시 도약기를 맞게 된다. 정부의 지속적인 공업화 정책에 따라 사회간접자본의 확충을 위한 도로, 항만, 댐 건설 등에 주력하면서 시멘트 수요가 크게 늘어났다. 특히 1968년 경부 고속도로의 착공 이후 공장신설과 신규 주택건설 등 각 부분에서 수요가 급속도로 늘어나 시멘트 생산시설의 확충도 급진전됐다. 이렇듯 1970년대에는 우리나라가 여러 어려운 여건 하에서도 도전을 통해 시련을 극복하고 마침내 획기적인 국력신장을 성취한 도약의 시기였다. 특히 1970년대를 거치며 이룩한 우리나라의 괄목할만한 성장은 세계를 놀라게 하는 것이었다.

  • 절개면의 안정도 평가와 더불어 낙석으로 인한 안전사고를 방지하기 위한 적절한 투자와 대책 마련은 도로의 신설과 유지 차원에서 실시되어야 한다. 절개면의 안정도를 정량적으로 파악하여 위험등급을 분류하는 것은 현실적으로 많은 어려움이 뒤따른다. 이는 절개면 안정도 평가시 조사인자의 선정에서 전문기술자의 주관적인 판단 차이로 인하여 발생되는 경우가 적지 않다. 본 연구에서는 절개면의 안정도 평가법 개발을 위하여 절개면의 조사인자를 설정하고 설정된 인자를 5점 척도법을 이용한 퍼지 이론으로 안정도를 평가하는 기법을 개발하였다. 또한, 정량화 값만으로 평가된 절개면 안정도에 따른 대책공법의 설정은 현장성과 적용성에서 문제가 발생할 가능성이 많다. 본 연구에서는 현장의 여건을 최대한으로 고려하여 도로 관리자뿐만 아니라 지반 전문가가 대책공법을 선정할 수 있는 기법을 개발하였다. 개발된 평가법과 시스템은 효율적인 정보관리화가 이루어지도록 전산시스템화 되어 있으며 도로절개면 유지관리시스템에 병합하여 운영하도록 되어 있다.
