Strategy development through Quality Assessments of Mobile Banking Service (모바일 뱅킹 서비스 품질 측정을 통한 전략 도출)

  • This research developed a strategy for mobile banking services based on the important factors deduced from quality assessment of mobile banking service that is experiencing rapid growth of user. SERVQUAL model and importance-performance tool were used. First, SERVQUAL model uses the important factors of mobile banking service selected from literature reviews. As a result, four dimensions that affect user satisfaction are found; assurance, customer orientation, tangibility, and reliability. Second, importance-performance analysis is to develop the strategy using the four factors. The final results revealed that assurance dimension had the strongest influence on user satisfaction. Assurance dimension of high expectation and yet low real performance needs immediate improvement. Customer orientation dimension of low expectation and performance should be reconsidered definition of satisfaction. On the other hand, tangibility dimension of higher performance than expectation is simply to maintain current level. Reliability dimension of high expectation and performance is recommended consistent management.

Analysis of the 'Chukwookee' data using time series model (시계열 모형을 이용한 측우기 자료의 분석)

  • One of the main issues related to the precipitation amounts measured by the Korean raingage, Chukwookee, invented by King Sejong is the discontinuity in the time series around 1907 when the modern raingage was first used in Korea. To solve this discontinuity problem Wada(1971) reproduced the Chukwookee data but many authors questioned the validity of Wada's method. In this paper we analyze the precipitation amounts in Seoul from 1771 to 1994 using the intervention model and show that Wada's method results in the overestimation of the precipitation amounts. We also propose a reproduction method by considering monthly constant and including the rainfall of less then 2 mm and the snowfall which were ignored previously.

  • As the number of Smartphone users increases, mobile advertising market has been expanding rapidly. In line with this, the ways to evaluate mobile advertising effectiveness are diversified, and engagement is one of the crucial qualitative and multi-dimensional evaluation methods of mobile advertising. Thus, the purpose of this study is to identify key antecedents and consequences of mobile advertising engagement, and examines the structural relationships among those research variables. Informativeness and personalization were selected as antecedents of engagement, trust and e-WOM intention were selected as consequences of engagement based on the review of previous studies. Data collected from survey was used to assess research hypotheses. Results show that informativeness and personalization have significant and positive effects on engagement, and engagement influences on trust and e-WOM intention. In addition, trust is proven to be positively related to e-WOM intention.

An Empirical Study on the Structural Relationships among Colleague trustworthiness, Organizational trust and Organizational citizenship behaviors (동료신뢰성, 조직신뢰, 조직시민행동 간의 구조적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the structural relationships among colleague trustworthiness, organizational trust and organizational citizenship behaviors(OCB). To conduct such examination, the author (i) designated colleague trustworthiness, organizational trust and OCB as variables and (ii) designed a research model by conducting preceding studies on the variables. To examine the research model the author collected the survey data from the 2 universities employees, 134 copies of questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS programs. The analysis results are as follows. Especially, (1) there was no statistically significant relationship between colleague trustworthiness and OCB. (2) it was found that higher degree of integrity the constructs of colleague trustworthiness would lead to higher degree of organizational trust. (3) organizational trust has been found to exert mediating effect on the relationship between colleague trustworthiness and OCB. The implication and limitation which this study are as follows. First, this study has discovered that organizational trust is the important mediating variable that affect the process of relationship between colleague trustworthiness and OCB. This study have limitation in that was conducted based on cross-sectional design of research. Because, the formation of trust is a dynamic process.

Verification on Validity of Teacher Efficacy Scale in Home Economics Teachers (가정과교사의 교사 효능감 측정도구 타당도 검증)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the validity of Ohio State Teacher Efficacy Scale(OSTES: Tschannen-Moran, 2000) when used with Korean home economics teachers. To achieve this purposes, the surveys with 263 secondary school home economics teachers was conducted by the prime investigator. Statistical procedures included descriptive statistics, factor analysis, internal consistency. Cronbach's a was calculated to test the reliability of items and their internal consistency and Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) was conducted to test the structure of each factors with principal analysis and varimax rotation. Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA) was conducted to test the factor validity of this scale with AMOS program. The reliability test result of 20 items appeared Cronbach's a=.86. The factor analysis on teacher efficacy with 263 survey of secondary school home economics teachers produced 5 factors including efficacy in classroom management. efficacy in needs assistance, efficacy in instructional strategies, efficacy in environmental assistance and efficacy in teaming assistance. The validity of teacher efficacy scale was moderately verified by the confirmatory factor analyses(GFI=.87, AGFI=.84. CFI=.86. PNFI=.72, RMR=.05. RMSEA=.07). The results lend a support to the teacher efficacy scale as a valid instrument.

An Evaluation Model for the Major Science Research Facilities and Equipments to Enhance the Competitiveness of the Science and Technology: A Focus on the Test of Reliability and Validity of the Model (과학기술 경쟁력 제고를 위한 대형연구시설 및 장비 평가모형 분석 : 모형의 신뢰성 및 타당성 검토를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to construct the evaluation model for the major science research facilities and equipments to enhance the competitiveness of the science and technology and also to test the reliability and validity of the model. To achieve the purposes, this study theoretically reviews the concept of the major science research facilities and equipments and their characteristics. Through a review of literature, this study draws 11 criteria for evaluating the priorities of the major science research facilities and equipments. These criteria are categorized as two dimensions - 'science & technology' and 'national policy'. The dimension of science & technology includes scientific importance, technological readiness, utilization rate, common utilization rate, and ability of management and operation. The national policy dimension contains degree of correspondence with national science development, imperativeness of national policy, science and technical effectiveness, economic and industrial effectiveness, responsiveness of research demand, and equity among the related institutions. The competitiveness of the science and technology consists of these two dimensions. The evaluation model is established on the framework of criteria. The 18 major science research facilities and equipments are selected through a series of Delphi. The survey of experts (BT, ET, IT, NT and ST) is also implemented to evaluate the 18 major science research facilities and equipments by 11 criteria. The overall results indicate that the reliability and validity of the model are good. The reliability tests show that the five indicators of science & technology and the six indicators of national policy have high internal consistencies. The confirmatory factor analyses reveal that the two constructs - 'science & technology' and 'national policy' - have high convergent and discriminant validity. The correlational analyses also show that the criteria-related validity between them is high. Furthermore, the results of higher order factor analysis indicate that the fit indices of the model are high and suggest a good fit to the data. Based on these findings, the policy implications of the model are discussed.

  • 기업 인력의 e-Business 적용 능력은 e-Business 환경에서 개인에게 주어진 업무를 효율적으로 수행하고 업무성과를 향상하기 위해 필요하다. 본 연구는 e-Business 인력의 측정도구, 측정체계 및 방법을 제시한다. 개발된 측정도구는 요인분석과 신뢰성 분석을 통하여 그 구조의 타당성을 검증하였고, e-Business 인력을 효과적으로 측정할 수 있는 16 개의 측정항목을 갖는 측정 도구를 제시하였다. 개발된 측정도구의 적용성과 활용성은 실제 e-Business 환경의 기업에서 근무하는e-Business 인력에 적용하여 그 결과를 제시함으로써 확인 하였다. 본 연구는 e-Business 환경의 기업에서 근무하는 인력의 e-Business 능력을 측정하고 개선하는 방법론을 개발하는 데 공헌할 것이다.

Verifying a Method of Qualitatizing Qualitative Factors of BSC (BSC의 정성적요인 계량화 검증 방법)

  • For a more convenient deduction of the weighted values in AHP of BSC using a spread sheet program, this study derived each weighted values through single and group calculations and it also compared the two calculations to verify mutual identities. Pairwise comparison is generally used in measuring performance of corporations or government organizations, but, many researches have been done without reliability verification due to difficulty in the deduction of weighted value. This trend, like using a wrong measurement, result in defective result of BSC. Therefore, this study presents various methods of single and group case measurement using spread sheet so that it can be utilized in practice. Thus, I expect this study's result be availed in BSC consulting or research of public organizations that have difficulty in measuring qualitative factors.

A Study on the Consumers' Trust Factors in Internet Shopping Mall (인터넷 쇼핑몰에 대한 소비자의 신뢰 요인 연구)

  • This paper tried to analyse the factors influencing consumer trust and the relationships between cause variables and results in Internet Shopping Mall. In order to do so, this paper tried to analyse the trust factors in TV Home Shopping as well as Internet Shopping Mall in terms of cyber markets both. There found six factors : perceived factor before purchasing, perceived factor after purchasing, perceived and emotional factors in the course of purchasing, positive and negative emotional factors after purchasing. These factors are correlated with Internet shopping variables and we can measure how Internet shopping variables can affect trust to the shopping mall. We can compare the trust factors of TV home shopping with those of Internet shopping mall and then we can activate Internet Shopping Mall. More implications of this study and further researches should be discussed in the future research.
