Robust Controller Design for Interval uncertainty system (구간 불확실 플랜트에서의 강인 제어기 설계)

  • 계수적 구간 불확실 플랜트를 안정화하는 강인 제어기의 설계의 방법으로서 고정차수 극 배치(FOPA : Fixed Order Pole Assighnment) 알고리즘을 이용할 수 있다. FOPA 알고리즘에 의해서 강인제어기 계수의 집합은 선형제약조건으로 표현되고, 이 조건을 만족하는 임의의 한점은 주어진 불확실 시스템을 안정화한다. 본 논문에서는 선형제약조건으로 주어진 제어기 계수의 집합에서 외란의 에너지를 최소화하는 제어기를 구하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 일반적으로 전역 최적해을 구하는 문제는 BMI(bilinear matrix inequalities)로 표현되지만 제어기의 계수를 고정했을 때는 LMI(lineal matrix inequalities)로 간략화되기 때문에 제어기계수에 대한 최소화와 성능지수에 대한 최소화를 반복함으로써 국부 최적해를 구할 수 있다. 제안한 알고리즘의 효용성을 보이기 위해 제어기 설계 예를 보이고, 그 성능을 비교 분석한다.

  • 연속음성인식을 위한 언어모델 적응기법은 특정 영역의 정보만을 담고 있는 적응 코퍼스를 이용해 작성한 적응 언어모델과 기본 언어모델을 병합하는 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 추가되는 자료 없이 인식 시스템이보유하고 있는 코퍼스만을 사용하여 적응 코퍼스를 구축하기 위해 언어모델에 기반한 정보검색 기법을 사영하였다. 검색된 적응 코퍼스로 작성된 적응 언어모델과 기본 언어모델과의 병합을 위해 본 논문에서는 입력음성을 분할하여 각 구간에 최적인 동적 보간 계수를 구하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 적응 코퍼스를 구하는 방법과 동적 보간 계수는 기본 언어모델 대비절대 3.6%의 한국어 방송뉴스 인식 성능 향상을 보여주었으며 기존의 검증자료를 이용한 정적 보간 계수에 비해 상대 13.6%의 한국어 방송뉴스 인식 성능 향상을 보여 주었다.

New variable adaptive coefficient algorithm for variable circumstances (가변환경에 적합한 새로운 가변 적응 계수에 관한 연구)

  • One of the most popular algorithm in adaptive signal processing is the least mean square(LMS) algorithm. The majority of these papers examine the LMS algorithm with a constant step size. The choice of the step size reflects a tradeoff between misadjustment and the speed of adaptation. Subsequent works have discussed the issue of optimization of the step size or methods of varying the step size to improve performance. However there is as yet no detailed analysis of a variable step size algorithm that is capable of giving both the speed of adaptation and convergence. In this paper we propose a new variable step size algorithm where the step size adjustment is controlled by square of the prediction error. The simulation results obtained using the new algorithm about noise canceller system and system identification are described. They are compared to the results obtained for other variable step size algorithm. function.

  • In this paper, we propose a predictive block constrained trellis coded quantization (BC-TCQ) to quantize cepstral coefficients for the distributed speech recognition. For Prediction of the cepstral coefficients. the 1st order auto-regressive (AR) predictor is used. To quantize the prediction error signal effectively. we use a BC-TCQ. The performance is compared to the split vector quantizers used in the ETSI standard, demonstrating reduction in the cepstral distance and computational complexity.

  • One of challengeable problems of multi-agent systems is a positioning control. Augmented Cucker-Smale model is using for controlling position and velocity of the multi-agent system. The original model applies same coefficients to all agents in same group, so that does not consider characteristic of each agent. To enhance performance of the original model, this paper transforms original coefficients to Mahalanobis distance coefficients that reflects an initial distribution of multi-agent systems and applies statistical degrees of freedom. This paper not only confirms tendency of enhanced performance of the suggested model by using monte-carlo simulation, but also additionally compares trajectory of the original model with the suggested model to confirm coefficients of Mahalanobis distance performing correctly.

Probabilistic Braking Performance Analysis for Train Control System (열차제어시스템을 위한 확률적 제동성능분석)

  • The safety interval to prevent collision between trains in a train control system is based on the braking distance according to the emergency braking of the train. The evaluation of the braking performance is based on the longitudinal train dynamics or the commissioning test in the test track, but since the conditions such as the weakening of the adhesion coefficient between the wheel and rail can not all be considered, these conventional methods are not sufficient to design of the train control systems. Therefore, in this study, the Monte Carlo Method (MCM) which can consider various environments is used to analyze braking performance and limitations. The braking model is based on the air braking used in the emergency braking and is modeled to take into account the braking pressure, efficiency, friction coefficient, adhesion condition, and vehicle mass distribution. It is confirmed that braking performance can be improved by controlling the quality of braking device. In addition, the change of the braking performance was confirmed according to the vehicle constituting the train. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic information for designing safety clearance for the train control systems and as a basis for improving the braking performance of railway vehicles.

Design and Implementation of People Counting System Based Piezoelectric Mat for Simultaneous Passing Pedestrian Counting (동시 통과 보행 인원 계수를 위한 압전매트 기반 인원 계수 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • The system for counting the number of people has traditionally been implemented in various ways. Existing systems include infrared sensors, lasers, cameras, etc. In the case of such an existing system, there are restrictions on space such as ceilings and sides of walls. In this paper, we propose a method of detecting the footsteps of pedestrians using a piezoelectric mat containing a number of piezoelectric sensors and counting the number of pedestrians passing simultaneously by using the data collected from the piezoelectric mat. When pedestrians pass over piezoelectric mats, the collected sensor data was aggregated using SPI communication and transmitted to PC server using TCP/IP communication. Performance analysis shows that approximately 600 step data can be recognized with 99% accuracy. This is to overcome the shortcomings of other counting systems.

PAPR Reduction for WPM Schemes using Filter Design Schemes (필터 설계 기법을 통한 WPM의 PAPR 감소에 관한 연구)

  • WPM(Wavelet Packet Modulation) is multicarrier system which is suitable for high speed transmission. The main advantage of using the WPM system is the fact that the flexible system effectively can be realized by the combination of filter coefficient. On the other hand, the major problem of multicarrier system is known to be the high PAPR. In this paper we propose WPM system that has a minimum PAPR by using filter coefficient adjustment method. We first derive the filter coefficient equation and then select the coefficient that has a minimum PAPR. we conduct WPM system by using a selected coefficient and we demonstrate the system performance by using computer simulation.

  • 공간-시간 부호(Space-Time Code)는 다중 안테나 시스템에서 기존의 기술에 비해서 부가적인 대역폭이 필요 없이 부호화 이득을 얻을 수 있다. 지금까지 공간-시간 부호(Space-Time Code)는 다이버시티 이득의 관점에서는 신호행렬들의 차가 완전-계수(Full-Rank)를 가져야 하고, 코딩 이득의 관점에서는 신호행렬들의 차의 determinant 값이 최소값을 가져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 공간-시간 블록 부호 디자인(Space-Time Block Code) 관점에서 직교-디자인(Orthogonal-design) 즉, 최소거리가 5이면서 완전-계수(Full-Rank)인 디자인을 비교대상으로 완전-계수(Full-Rank)가 아니면서 최소거리가 5와7인두 부호에 관하여 연구되어졌다.

On Negative Correlation Bit-to-Symbol(: B2S) Mapping for NOMA with Correlated Information Sources in 5G Systems (5G 시스템에서 상관 정보원의 비직교 다중접속을 위한 음수의 상관관계 계수 B2S 사상)

  • In this paper, in order to improve the degraded BER performance of the stronger channel user in non-orthogonal multiple access(: NOMA) with interactive mobile users, we propose the negative correlation bit-to-symbol(: B2S) mapping. First, the closed-form expression for the BER of the negative correlation B2S mapping receiver is derived, and then it is shown that the BER of the negative correlation B2S mapping receiver is improved, compared with those of the ideal perfect successive interference cancellation(: SIC) receiver and positive correlation receiver. Additionally, based on the analytical expression, signal-to-noise(: SNR) gain is calculated, and the superiority of the negative correlation B2S mapping receiver is validated.
