Analysis of Photosynthetic Photon Flux by Prototype of Rotational Lighting System for Plant Factory (식물공장을 위한 회전형 조명시스템 시제품의 광합성유효광양자속 분석)

  • Rotational lighting system for plant factory is the way to decrease high installation cost of the existing lighting system. A few of LEDs are used at the rotational lighting system in comparison with the existing lighting system to supply artificial lights to crops. At rotational lighting system, the manufacturing cost becomes very low by comparing with the existing lighting system. In this paper, the photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) is investigated in order that plants may grow. And PPF is analyzed with the rotational speed of blade and LED output by using the rotational lighting system prototype and quantum sensor. It is confirmed that constant PPF value of $200{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{^-2}{\cdot}s^{^-1}$ is supplied with the blade rotation speed of 20rpm and LED output of IN 73%, CENTER 37% and OUT 50%. By comparing with the lighting system of existing plant factory, there is no difficulty to supply the light needed to grow plants by rotating a few of LEDs.

Sensitivity Lighting System Based on multimodal (멀티모달 기반의 감성 조명 시스템)

  • In this paper, human sensibility is measured on multi-modal environment and a sensitivity lighting system is implemented according to driven emotional indexes. We use LED lighting because it supports ecological circumstance, high efficiency, and long lifetime. In particular, the LED lighting provides various color schemes even in single lighting bulb. To cognize the human sensibility, we use the image information and the arousal state information, which are composed of multi-modal basis and calculates emotional indexes. In experiments, as the LED lighting color vision varies according to users' emotional index, we show that it provides human friendly lighting system compared to the existing systems.

  • 전력대란으로 인해 에너지 절감이 많은 이슈가 되고 있으며, 이로 인해 다양한 부분에서 에너지절감방식이 개발되고 있다. 많은 방식 중에서 최근에는 IT기술을 융합한 조명제어시스템의 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 IT기술을 융합한 조명제어시스템을 설계하여 공용 주택부문에서 가장 많이 낭비되고 있는 지하주차장 조명을 효율적으로 제어하여 에너지를 절감할 뿐만 아니라 조명관리의 효율성까지 높일 수 있는 에너지절감형 조명제어시스템을 설계하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 최근 정보통신의 발전과 보급을 이용하여 스마트홈을 비싼 비용을 들여 구축하는 것이 아니라 기존의 인프라와 국민 대다수가 가지고 있는 스마트폰 그리고 아두이노를 사용하여 저렴한 비용으로 스마트홈을 구축하는 것을 목표로 한다. 스마트 조명 제어 시스템을 구축할 통신 수단을 선택하기 위해서 각 통신 수단의 대역과 송/수신 범위를 비교 및 분석하였다. 그 결과 통신 수단으로는 블루투스를 사용하고 아두이노를 사용하여 기존 가전시설을 최대한 활용할 수 있게 하였다. 스마트 조명 제어 장치를 구성하는데 아두이노 우노 보드, 마이크로 서보 모터, 블루투스 모듈, 전원장치로 이루어진 컨트롤러와 컨트롤러를 제어하는 애플리케이션 두가지를 사용한다. 스마트폰에서 애플리케이션으로 컨트롤러를 조작하고 컨트롤러가 조명스위치를 조작하여 조명이 ON/OFF된다. 제안한 시스템으로 조명 제어 시스템뿐만 아니라 기존의 고비용 스마트홈 솔루션을 대체할 수 있을 것 으로 기대된다.

  • Factors which affect largely the economics of lighting system, are initial installation costs, maintenance costs, energy costs as so on. In these costs, maintenance cost, lamp replacement labor cost, luminaire cleaning cost et al. so the economics of lighting system are evaluated different by maintenance planning. It is important to evaluate which lighting system would be economically advantageous in a initial design. In this study, the importance of maintenance factor is verified by the evaluations of the economics of lighting systems while maintenance factor is varied composition factors in ZCM which is used to calculate the average illuminance.

  • Rotational smart lighting control system provides artificial light to plants on planting board by rotational lighting system. As the lighting system of existing plant factory has high cost problem due to the installation for many lighting equipments, the lighting system was developed to rotate less number of lighting equipments to reduce cost. In this paper, the illuminance, luminous flux and photosynthetic photon flux density(PPFD) that plants need to grow were calculated. And the light intensity at each measured location considering the rotational speed of blade were analyzed by the simulation and the experiment.

  • It is addressed that traditional light systems are improper to be applied practically in the energy efficiency point of view. To overcome such drawback, advanced investigations are recently conducted for realizing remote control of several related equipments such as lights, heats, home appliances, etc. This paper proposes a novel power line communication system to effectively manage lights in which the conventional method is used without any modification. We timely control lights to reduce energy cost based on given time period.

  • As the economic growth achieved and the straight road was increased. so, the tunnel built more than before. In these days, lighting of tunnel entrance is important for safety and comfortable driving. Most of the tunnel lighting depend on artificial lighting and they use a lot of energy. In this paper, as a research for illumination improvement and saving energy at tunnel, reflecting mirror system is suggested. The performance of the system was evaluated with respect to various aspects. By applying a reflective mirror system, tunnel lighting and environment can be improved. This study is a preliminary study for developing a system to save energy of tunnel artificial lighting.

  • In this paper, it is analysed the spectrum of optical fiber output through the sunlight collector system. As the result of the analysis, the sunlight collector system's UV distribution is lower then the sunlight'UV distribution. Also, the lighting environments under the optical fiber bundles are predicted when applied to the minimum workroom's(6${\times}$6${\times}$2.3[m]) interior lighting by using a lighting design program. In case of optical filer output\`s hight of 1.3[m], the illuminance value over 500[lx] in the area 50${\times}$50[cm] was achieved. As the result its feasibility as an interior lighting source shows no serious problem except the system cost.
