The Structural Characteristics of Non-slip Device in Connecting Method Between Steel Pipe Pile and Footing (미끌림 방지턱을 이용한 강관말뚝 머리 결합부의 구조특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • To find the structural characteristics of non-slip device in connecting method B between steel pipe pile and concrete footing, compression and uplift test was performed for full sized specimens not having non-slip device, those having non-slip device with two curved steel plate bars welded inside the steel pipe pile(standard method), and those having non-slip device with serveral curved steel plate bars bolted inside the steel pipe pile(new method). As a result, specimens not having non-slip device had chemical debonding failure at 15.6tonf of peak uplift load and 27.57tonf of peak compression load. And the standard method and the new method showed about 8.9 times of peak uplift load and 6.2 times of peak compression load higher than specimens not having non-slip device. The load transfers of lower non-slip devices of the standard method and the new method were similar in behavior, while the higher non-slip device of the new method showed higher ratio of load transfer than that of the standard method. And these two methods had nearly the same composite action and structural capacity caused by non-slip devices.

  • 미국과 유럽은 세계무역기구(WTO)의 무역에 대한 기술장벽(TBT)에 관한 협정 발효 후 TBT 협정과 조화될 수 있도록 관련 법규와 기술기준의 제정 및 개정에 전력을 기울이고 있다. 보일러 및 압력용기와 관련해서는 유럽이 먼저 압력기기(Pressure Equipment)라고 명칭을 통일하고 1997년 7월 9일 European Pressure Equipment Directive(유럽의 압력기기고시 : PED)를 공포하여 그 주도권 행사에 나섰다. 이에 당황한 미국이 일본과 공조하여 PED에 대한 대응책이며 대안으로 ''국제 압력기기 기술기준 시방서''라는 명칭으로 대부분 미국의 기술기준을 준용하고 있는 우리나라로서는 아주 민감한 사항이다. 그것의 제정경위를 요약 정리함으로써 우리의 대처방안 설정에 도움이 되었으면 한다.

An Experimental Study on the Evaluation of Adiabatic Temperature Rise of Concrete (콘크리트의 단열온도 상승량의 정량화에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, parameters such as unit cement weight and placing temperature which influence on temperature rise and temperature rise velocity are investigated through adiabatic tests for the domestic ordinary portland cement(0PC). Adiabatic temperature rise suggested by Korean Concrete Spec. are compared with that from this experimental results. As a result of this study, adiabatic temperature rise of OPC suggested spec. is overestimated. Also it is shown that 2-parameter equation suggested in the spec. overestimate heat evolution at early age and reasonable prediction of heat evolution can be obtained by using 3-parameter equation. Results of numerical analysis by using the input data from this test and the suggested values from spec. shows similar temperatures. However thermal stresses pridicted using input value from spec. may result 20% more than that from this test in case of externally restricted state.
